FlemLo, you're a well-spoken and super talented cat with AMAZING charisma. I'll always make time to check out and support your content because you've clearly shown you care for the type of news or stories you share with your audience, and thats such a blessing to have a content creator show that in literally every single video they put out. Keep up the grind man, it's always humbling to hear you talk and go into both sides of a story. I agree with you 100%; the biggest point in this entire story are the players that put their blood, sweat, and tears onto that field and this so called 'program' that knew something was up, but just couldn't change the circumstances they fell into. These young men just wanted to continue their pursuit for the sport they love. However, the lasting impact this will probably have on a lot of them is truly heartbreaking in my eyes. Hope all these men have gone on to much bigger and better things! Shame on this 'program' (cause I ain't calling it a school) for exploiting players and their love of the game...
I’m from Ohio saw BS vs. Massillon Washington last year BS lost 35-0, that was the first time I heard of them then I heard they were playing IMG I went to the game out of sheer morbid curiosity I knew this was going to be bad, but I had no idea how bad the fall out was going to be.
I forgot Massillon played em last year until a friend ot mine, who starts on the oline of Massillon mentioned that they played on ESPN. Hard to believe, nobody in town has mentioned them at all. You might also know this, but wasn't Massillon to supposed to play on ESPN last year?
Are you surprised that BS went to Massillon to play? That stadium is always full and holds 18,500. It seems like BS just went to play all of these schools with big stadiums so they could cash in on revenue.
Yeah, this came up as a more in depth video. I swear I saw a video a year or two ago which was incredibly similar, some kind of group to help kids with getting into College, but no one was actually taught anything.
I love these vids, cuz unlike most youtubers, as you’ve gotten bigger you’ve kept the videos and content fresh and not gotten lazy with it. Keep going man.
About time!!! I remember randomly seeing that IMG game on in the background at a restaurant and thinking ‘damn, who is Bishop Sycamore? IMG is waxing these dudes, why are they on TV?’
Hey yo, How come i've never heard of this channel until 4 days ago when i saw a random video suggested and now i "can't" stop watching? Your doing a great job with all these stories \ bios in terms of presenting things in an unbiased light letting others consume the information and make a possibly more educated decision on how to feel about some of these athletes.😄👍
I've been following you for a long time Flem, you've come a long way! Your content is amazing and you keep getting better at it, respect! Keep it up fam, you are easily one of the best out there! Props from Quebec!
I don't remember hearing about this when it happened, but this surprises me not one bit. With these athletic prep schools (like IMG) even the ones that are "legit" are BARELY legit. I used to work for one of these schools (I won't say which one because I'm not trying to get sued by the rich people who run it) but I saw the inside and out of the school I worked at and a lot of the other prep schools we played against. These schools with usually male and female athletes at highschool and pre-college levels usually with one to three different sports programs (basketball, football, volleyball etc) usually have 0-2 teachers. They often have no actual campus, usually just a stadium and/or gym and athletic facilities and maybe a office or two converted into "classrooms" that are usually used as equipment storage. The students often are actually enrolled as "homeschooled" and do all classwork through online school with nobody to help or tutor them. They are overseen by a handful of people usually not much older than them. I think I was the oldest coach or trainer at 27, most were 22-24 watching over LIVE IN students aged 14-20. There WERE older coaches aged 40-60 in charge of the program and they DID have legitimate pro experience as players and coaches, abd even then some of them came off as pretty creepy and unprofessional. Plus they only showed up for team practices and games, maybe 2-3 hours a day and the rest of the time it was a bunch of 20 somethings living and taking care of a bunch of teenagers. Everyone lived in a bunch of houses converted to apartments, spread around town. Usually 1 staff member living with 6-8 students at each sight. Food was an improvised mess and we were usually scrambling to figure out where we were getting the students' meals every day. Literally the only thing the school cared about was getting kids on the field/ court, networking with NCAA coaching staffs to get kids offers and managing their social media to get them attention. It was all super weird and shady, and every single day felt like a disaster waiting to happen. I know these programs can really benefit certain kids chances at getting a scholarship or even going pro someday. I saw people get offers to top tier D1 Schools and a couple have even gone on to get drafted in their respective sports. But honestly I don't feel like these "schools" should be legal. They basically just throw the academics out the window, I feel like they are not good social settings for the kids, and they are perfect environments for sexual misconduct and serious accidents.
Same here bro. Been subscribed for a minute but haven't watched anything till he dropped this. His quality of video is definitely getting better. My guys gonna be big one day.
You hit the nail right on the head - good intentions, an actually really good and noble idea. But it was executed with astonishing shortsightedness and spiraled WAY out of control. I went to a high school with a post graduate program and we played other high schools with post graduate programs. Playing against guys who are over 18 isn’t anything new, but BS…man…they took it to a whole new level. I feel for those kids. They got sold a bill of goods and were taken on a seriously shitty ride, and no one will ever do right by them. Great job on this, as always. I love your videos and your takes on all of the stories you tell.
This is the second time this month (August 2023) that you’ve been ahead of a major mainstream news story by a year. First Michael Oher and now BS High. BS High is now a hit documentary on Amazon streaming.

I have been waiting for your take on this and as always I appreciate the factual and non bias way of telling the story! Also are KTO and yourself able to do Sports Therapy this NFL season?
I love your thoroughness in your videos and how each one seems like its personal. Hoping you can do a video with Brandon Perna or Tom Grossi. You should do a video about Brett Favre and all the insane things he did and what teams did for him. All the best to you and your family Flem.
The crazy part is that you took a lot of effort to give that man the benefit of the doubt and he wound up not only being a scammer but a whole sociopath and abuser.
Loved this episode! Wouldn’t mind seeing more content that is this long but I understand the time it takes to put this together. That being said; as bad as I feel for the kids, these parents CANNOT be upset for neglecting to do their due diligence on this program. It’s a shame that these kids/parents feel that their only option to the next level is through this path. Great concept (in theory) but it is disappointing to see that these families feel that their only way out is through sports and trusting a program to take them to that “next level.” Extremely disheartening to also see the lack of education focus from the school. I hope that future programs can see from the mistakes
Ay yo Flemlo, I was never really into football history or the "what happened to so and so" type videos but your shit is so well done and interesting that I had to subscribe.

Parents are just as much to blame. I would never send my son somewhere for school without visiting the school and researching the school and seeing the actual facilities. And researching the curriculum.
@@luisbolanos8393 you right about them targeting the under privileged but being under privileged is no justification to blindly send your kid away with a bag of dreams and no plan. You can go to the library and see where you are sending your child. The mother ignored all the red flags and tried to duck all responsibility by saying they told him this and they told him that. Where was she at? Was she not in the room when they were lying to her son, getting ready to ship him across the country. If she would have asked questions and paid attention her BS detector would have been going off loud enough to wake the neighbors. Also, the kid who was able to play at BS because "couldn't play anywhere else" probably has a sub 2.0 GPA and wasn't allowed to play or he has a medical condition and no responsible person would let him play. Either way that's not a good look.
@@DenzelLewis23 it doesn't have to be all or nothing nfl or bust. The $800 airfare could have and been a nice start in an trade school. Barber or craftsmen are respectable careers that can get you a solid life. Let's face it, none of these kids are gonna make it to the league and wasting money on a pipe dream is only gonna hold them back when there are other more realistic options that may not be glamorous but still can lead to a successful career.
This story was so much deeper than the memes. This is REAL reporting.
I’m from Ohio saw BS vs. Massillon Washington last year BS lost 35-0, that was the first time I heard of them then I heard they were playing IMG I went to the game out of sheer morbid curiosity I knew this was going to be bad, but I had no idea how bad the fall out was going to be.
its like that meme lol like the dude holding up the posters saying "I did not expect much but HOLY FUCK"
I forgot Massillon played em last year until a friend ot mine, who starts on the oline of Massillon mentioned that they played on ESPN. Hard to believe, nobody in town has mentioned them at all. You might also know this, but wasn't Massillon to supposed to play on ESPN last year?
I just left Columbus had been there for seven plus years and never heard of them
Are you surprised that BS went to Massillon to play? That stadium is always full and holds 18,500. It seems like BS just went to play all of these schools with big stadiums so they could cash in on revenue.
@@sirmang9032 not really. Stadium was not sold out though due to the pandemic. I think it held 10k or less last year.
Finally i was waiting for Flemlo to get his hands and mind on this story. This is a rabbit hole I know he gone help me navigate through
Finally!!! I’ve been avoiding this story till you dropped it
You have the best videos on TH-cam. Everyone of them is produced excellently and your storytelling is immaculate.
It's great having UrinatingTree's hilarious quick take followed up by a FlemLo more in depth take.
Hey yo,
How come i've never heard of this channel until 4 days ago when i saw a random video suggested and now i "can't" stop watching?
Your doing a great job with all these stories \ bios in terms of presenting things in an unbiased light letting others consume the information and make a possibly more educated decision on how to feel about some of these athletes.😄👍
yo my guy flemlo with certified banger all the time
I've been following you for a long time Flem, you've come a long way! Your content is amazing and you keep getting better at it, respect! Keep it up fam, you are easily one of the best out there! Props from Quebec!
Salut from Montreal.
Love you Flemlo! Keep killin brother!
I was looking forward to your breakdown on this situation. I love how you put so much effort into researching the topic. God bless ya 🙂
FlemLo dropping gems. This story needed to be put out there. Glad you did it!
We need to see Bishop Sycamore in a Madden game
Madden doesn't have a create-a-team anymore, right? I probably would have made them as a kid lol.

Love the videos. Always love that you take a deep dive and look at the bigger picture of what’s actually happening. 👍🏾💯
Brilliant reporting. My faith tradition is rooted in the AME Church, and I'm a football lifer. This entire story hits me in the heart.
Love you flemlo, your killin the game rn keep going
What game?
@@marcusaurelius652 the TH-cam game
Just watching the production quality on your videos get better and better all the time, love to see it. Keep at it brother
It pisses me off too. The kids or parents are def not to blame for anything. My heart breaks for these boys. And Roy Johnson is a straight up crook.
I don’t know how you don’t have 1M subs yet bro. Your videos are always on point. Been rockin with you for 3 years now!
Love the new intro bro. Been rocking with you for a couple of years new and you still continue to get better!! Much love and keep doing ya thing. 💪🏾
Man, I didn’t think it was possible, but your videos are even better than they used to be. Great job!
Haven't watched flemlo in a min so coming back to this video with its great production and quality feels good. Keep up the great content man 👏 👏
Same here bro. Been subscribed for a minute but haven't watched anything till he dropped this. His quality of video is definitely getting better. My guys gonna be big one day.
I waited about a month for this video. Not gonna lie, it was worth every bit of it. Thanks for the education my guy
Damn, ive been a fan for a while and its crazy to see how amazing your production has got. Keep doing what youre doing, you killin it
Man your videos have come such a long way I just stumbled on an older one then watched this. Amazing Flem! Keep it up, loving the content as always!

This was a very well put together video. Thank you for making it. This story is waaaaaay deeper than I ever thought
This man's editing game is on another level now. Good stuff.
This is the second time this month (August 2023) that you’ve been ahead of a major mainstream news story by a year. First Michael Oher and now BS High. BS High is now a hit documentary on Amazon streaming.
It’s like a football version of the movie “Accepted”
We’ve been waiting for this one!!!! You the real MVP 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
If I had this man's networking skills, I would have 10 millionaires backing me. The fraud part is the only part that seems like trash. The rest feels like it would be great
I begged for this video couple weeks ago on some of your posts and although I'm sure you already were working on something it feels special to see this video come up and it be 30 min +!!!! I'm about to hop on a plane and this is 30 minutes well spent. Thank you
Yes yes yes click!!! Thank you Flemlo we’ve been waiting on this one 👍🏼💯💰
Im a really big fan of your new formatting and style in your videos. Keep up the good work.
Also, great story as always. This is a different angle than what I've seen, so I appreciate you showing this perspective.
Young man, more content like yours is needed in many other areas of sports so the average person soak in the people, situations & for better or worse the business of sports as well.
Continue your movement.
Stay Up
FlemLo saying “Bend a few corners” at 24:40 is the definition of this emoji 🥴
That half baked cake analogy is the best why to describe how this predicament started
Thank you for covering this. Also, I'm really digging the new backing track. Thanks for the change-up.
No one can tell a story like FlemLo can‼️
You took your Time with this! And it shows ‼️🔥
Been waiting on THIS by *FLEMLO* !!🔥🔥🔥
The definitive bishop sycamore TH-cam doc. Great work, love your stuff flemlo
I have been waiting for your take on this and as always I appreciate the factual and non bias way of telling the story! Also are KTO and yourself able to do Sports Therapy this NFL season?
you do such a great job with these stories. I was waiting for you to break it down. Awesome job.
I love your thoroughness in your videos and how each one seems like its personal. Hoping you can do a video with Brandon Perna or Tom Grossi. You should do a video about Brett Favre and all the insane things he did and what teams did for him. All the best to you and your family Flem.
Im an Ohio native and the real villan outside of Roy Johnson is the state of Ohio for not regulating 'schools' like COF/BS.
These videos have done a better job of changing my thought process and perspective on life than therapy.
💪🏾Another Gold for Flemlo, Im always looking for these new stories like Thanksgiving dinner
Ay yo Flemlo, I was never really into football history or the "what happened to so and so" type videos but your shit is so well done and interesting that I had to subscribe.
You always put together great and informative videos.
I've been looking forward to this video since the story broke
The second I saw this play out on ESPN, I knew you would be covering it- excited to watch!
Been waiting on the Bishop Sycamore debacle narrated by Flemlo!
New subscriber here. I religiously watch your videos daily and although I’m not much into sports anymore, the fact that you tell each person’s story with intent and being unbiased as well as empathetic is commendable. I’m learning a lot and it’s making me fall in love with the art of sports once again. Thank you!
Oh man, I’ve wanted FlemLo to do his thing, on this thing, since this thing was a thing!
Flemlo you never disappoint! Love the content!!!
Parents are just as much to blame. I would never send my son somewhere for school without visiting the school and researching the school and seeing the actual facilities. And researching the curriculum.
I’m sure they target underprivileged youths selling them a dream of making it pro.
When you only got 1 way out last chanceU type shit... you gone go wherever bro .
May not be a mansion but a house in a nice neighborhood is still a win.
Idk there are alot of kids that had to grow up quick, have one foot into adult world since 13/14 or maybe don't have any adult guidance or parents who give a damn. This could have great for some kids... could have smh.
