YOU'RE THE MAN! I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR SOMETHING LIKE THIS FOR ALMOST 2 WEEKS! AND THIS PROCESS WORKED SO WELL! THANK YOU SO MUCH
No problem! I’m glad my video helped 💯💯
This is really amazing. I don't even have my embroidery machine yet (being delivered via post now) and I just made the file I needed for my kids school uniform, in 10mins, thanks to this tutorial! That software is so good, I'm usually terrible at new programs. I'm old, I still use Macromedia Fireworks for image editing! It was sooooooo much fun and exciting watching the simulation of the design come to life 😍 Thank you thank you thank you!
Thank you for watching! I’m happy that my video was able to help you out, it means a lot. I hope your kids enjoy the uniforms you made 😁🙌🏽🙌🏽
first tutorial i clicked on and i’m glad i did🙏🏽
🙌🏽🙌🏽
Thank you so much!! I’ve watched other videos that made it complicated. This was what I needed. Thanks😊

Your welcome 🤩
This was extremely useful. Thank you!
Np! 👌🏽
When you path and break apart the first time, which layers are you selecting? All?
hey thanks for the vid, for some reason when i'm setting the number of scans it doesn't show a preview. is there a reason for this?
Bro this tutorial is essential! Thank you so much!
No problem 💯💯
i've found my brother machine has fewer slips and other mistakes if I fill first and then do the satin border
hi I really appreciate the video helped a lot. where did you get your png file of the nike logo like that? having trouble finding one that has the two colors like that
Thank you! 😃 I couldn’t find any online as well so I used a free font called “college” and designed the logo in Adobe Illustrator
Is there a way you can upload the steps in new to this so any help would be great. Thank you
Thank you!!!!!!!!
thank u very much, that video help me a lot for my job, u´re AWSM
Glad that it helped 👍🏽💯
hi, thank you for this tutorial.. its quite easy to understand and follow.. i've tried it with a couple of simple images and logos, but i keep getting stuck on the path > break apart step.. whenever i try that step, it says "no path to break apart".. what do i do in that case? take in mind the google logo for example
Hey do you have the objects selected when clicking break apart? I know Inkscape can be tricky, double check to see if it’s the object and not the image selected
Im having the same issue
@@jessicarivera5075 let me know if this helps th-cam.com/video/0IBPrYNWdh0/w-d-xo.html&si=EnSIkaIECMiOmarE
Hi Friend I see your video to learn step by step many many times I learning today... I need more practice.... Im will write in the future.... thank you...
Glad the video helped, let me know if you need any tips! 👌🏽💯
Friend yesterday I did mi first art and bordeing thanks for your video.... you help very much.... thankyou
@@JuanPablo-he4rw no problem 💯
hey, its giving me an error when I try to attach commands to selected objects, it says I need to do a trace bit map
how do i convert an image to stitch in satin stitch?
I love your tutorial so much this has been very helpful. I have a question, what do you do if there’s multiple colors on your design. I’ve tried to do it wit two colors and followed your steps. It came out amazing but what should I do if the Nike logo has multiple colors ?
Thanks 💯 if it has multiple colors you can try increasing the scan number until it’s shows each color in the design. Let me know if that works
Man I go so lost on path and object coz my design has multiple and the whole stuff is so confusing
good.
But I'm having trouble with letters like a and o that create a fill in the middle.
This video should help 👌🏽 th-cam.com/video/iggLW-RHlYc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=717142S8q8LrrHSP
where do i find the nike stuff or like how do i make my own logo to upload to it or can i just type/make my logo straight onto inkscape because my logo doesnt come up at the preview at 1min 54seconds into the video and when i drag it there isnt a white background
mdesiignsshop.myshopify.com/products/embroidery-design
so for the threads that were crossing to other letters did you just use sissors and cut them off
Yeah
Hi, in the final result, after you clicked realistic, I see the threads connect between the letters and make the design strange, I don't have a broidery machine so I am asking as a newbie. Is this how all broidery design work? always a thread connecting different elements of the same color?
Yeah that’s normal in the embroidery process, it also depends on the design. Its called a jump stitch 👍🏽
@@mdesiigns hmmm, nope, the final result should be perfect, after I commented here I found another video that explains how to cut that awful thread that would ruin your design: extension, ink/stitch, commands, attach commands to selected objects, and then Trim thread after sewing this object, apply and done, remember to select the object with the thread. Done it, tested, works perfect.
Awesome video!!! How do you save a copy of the realistic rendered image? Trying to start selling my digitized files on Etsy and can't seem to figure out how to save the rendered images from inkscape
Would love to know how to do this as well!
I open the design in stitch buddy and take a screenshot then import into canva to make a thumbnail for Etsy..let me know if it works
@patrickburleigh4448
Hi, Great video thanks. When I tI want to make a nike, but when I take it apart, thousands of pieces come out, what is the solution?

I have a question I have our company name and I’m trying to stitch it on polo shirts but when I converted the file to SVG it removed half my logo and doesn’t show the rest on Inkscape I’m confused on how to get my full design
On your Inkscape are you able to see the trace preview before you convert the file? What shows up?
What thickness needle and thread weight did you use for this? thank you !!
I’ll have to double check the needle size but it’s the one that came with the machine
Mine won’t show the preview. Can’t figure out why :(
Thanks for the video. Could you do one with a more complex image? Would love to see how that works.
Thanks bro I’ll keep you posted! 💯
What kind of image did you have in mind?
@@mdesiigns look up the fortnite Ralph Lauren collab, make the design on the Ralph Lauren polo🙏🏼
How do you download the ink/stich extension? When downloading Inkscape, mine doesn’t come with the extension
Ink stitch needs to be downloaded separately inkstitch.org
@@mdesiigns thank you!
Thanks for the tutorial. How do you edit the stitch pattern and stitch path? My issues are that the stitches are jumping everywhere and I don't know how to fix that. I am also having issues with the stitch type. I want my embroidery to come out clean but the texture of the embroidery is very rough. I want to get a satin stitch but instead I am getting a fill stitch. Please Help!!!
Hey man thanks for watching! I’ll have to do a video on stitch pattern soon but go to extensions > ink stitch > commands > attach commands to selected objects. Check off “fill stitch starting position” + “fill stitch ending position” and hit “apply”
From here you can adjust the “start and stop” positions to cut down on jumps

Hey bro I got the same machine as you, which stabilizer do you recommend
I use a tear away stabilizer from Amazon..it’s pretty good! 👌🏽
Yo question what if I convert my png /jpeg image to svg do I have to still do the whole break apart section
Yeah each part of the design has to be on a separate layer. How complex is your design?
@@mdesiigns has like 13 -15 colors it’s complex alright …I’ve understood it a bit and mistake I was making
@@Young_Mon yeah that’s too much colours to work with, try testing it out with a simple logo
OMG thank you! I couldn’t figure it out and almost paid someone to digitalize it.
Your welcome 💯
what font is that? TIA 🙏
Hi, which image file format should I purchase. for my brother PE900 embroidery machine.
PES file format
Thank you
The break apart step confuses me when i click break away nothing happens? follow everything the same as in the video aswell with a simple design. i dont understand what im doing wrong.
Double check to make sure the object you need to break apart is selected. If that doesn’t help you may need to trace the design again
Hi, I downloaded inkstich seperately and restarted my inkscape but still don't see it listed under my extensions... what am I doing wrong?
Hey are you using Mac or Windows?
When I want to convert a cdr to embroidery It only shows part of it,can you tell me what went wrong, sir
Hey not sure what cdr is, do you have a png or jpg file to use?
When I click on trace bitmap and increase my scans, nothing happens?
Hey, how many colors are in your logo? You’ll have to play around with the trace bitmap to see which settings work for your logo
whats the machine model that you are using? Thanks.
Brother PE535
what's the font name
how do you you get the ink/stitch extension?

Where can i get nike Lakers pnj file?
themarshalldesigns@gmail.com
Name of software applications used?😊
Inkscape and inkstitch 👍🏽
this will be compatible with any brand of embroidery
Yeah Inkscape allows you to save files for different types of embroidery machines
Can you share the file sir so i can download it
Yeah I linked it in the bio
Where did the first break apart go?
What do you mean?
Remarkably helpful video, though would be 10x better if there was voice over so it could be followed along with more easily
Thank you!! I’ve been getting many requests for voiceovers I will try for my next video 👍🏽
does this have to be on a macbook?
No, you can use a PC too ✅
I'm trying to do this with a picture from the internet but it is not working. I try to do the realistic preview through ink stitch and it will not load, am I doing something wrong? I wanted to download your design but the link is no longer listed.\
Are you getting an error message when you do realistic preview & were you able to trace your image?
Srry the listing got taken down by Etsy
@@mdesiigns it simply won’t load. i copied and pasted a nike logo picture, traced it, selected my colors, and then tried to go to params and it didn’t work. i then tried to do the realistic preview which also didn’t work. is it possible to download/purchase your nike text?
@@annoraelias9844 oh okay. Did you have trouble using the “break apart” settings? Params and realistic preview won’t work unless the design is made into a path.
For the Nike design I need to find a site that’ll let me list..I’ll keep you posted
@@mdesiigns yes, it said there was nothing to break apart. do I need to do a different process if I am using a picture from the internet? I can't afford adobe.
Hey mate can you make me a picture into a embroidery file please
4:46 ion see the Ink/stitch on mine
Which version do you have? Did you download the ink/stitch extension?
could u put the png in the description ?
I added the link for this design in the description 👍🏽
This tutorial doesn't work. Everytime i try to break apart nothing happens and it just moves the image
Double check to make sure the object is selected before you hit break apart. Or send me an email so I can see what happened 👍🏽
How is te name of aplication?
Inkscape and the extension is Ink Stitch 🪡
