Then obviously you don't need this. If you can fit your RV everywhere you could potentially want to put it with your truck, then this is not a product for you. Keep the money
I have the Trailer Mover. It was made by a guy in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. I love it. It is powered by an extension cord plugged into any AC outlet. At my house the RV access is super tight but I can get my 33’ trailer in it with no problem. His only cost $2,000. I love the fact that it needs no battery to deal with. He told me that it can move up to 15,000 lbs. my trailer weighs-in around 8,500 loaded and my driveway has a descent grade to it as well. I am a big supporter of these type of machines if you have a tough area to put your trailer into.
I have the same one used for moving my Haulette 5533 bucket lift around job sites. Very helpful for those places I cant back the truck around on the job site to put the lift exactly where needed. Congrats on your purchase.
Would love to see you review 5th wheel versions. TraxDolly has a beefy and faster version that can adapt to 5ers. Their version also integrates 7 pin and trailer brakes
I've been waiting for this to show up on your channel. I kinda think it would be cool to use at campsites that are back in only and you want your trailer facing the other way. Been to a few campsites at national forests and make you wonder why they set up the campsite the way they did. Only downside to that is that a lot of those campgrounds are one lane roads so you may make other people very annoyed with you while you slowly get things situated.
I’ve seen much larger and powerful versions design to move mobile homes into position. Especially to get two halves of a double wide aligned with small and precise movements.
I have the smaller more manual version (with a drill hooked to it). Very handy for maneuvering my three trailers in and out of my garage. Especially trying to tuck them close to the wall. I only use it on flat concrete however.
That ground was so soft the trailer tires left tracks and it had no drive wheel. But the dolly went right through. I can see it being very practical i certain situations where space is tight.
Subjective opinion to be sure, after watching yesterday, I was intrigued, but after today's I'm not sure its price to performance is there. You threw a lot at it to be sure and it got it done, but I would not call that a stelar performance. I think the concept is a 10, the execution is a 6 - 7. That would be okay, but they've priced it as an 11. Make it a $2500 product and I think they'd have a winner, to me, its just not worth the current price of admission.
@@BTBRVReviews true, but I guess my thought would be that the terrain you showed it being used on is the very train that it’s needed the most, and should be designed for above all others because if it can work great on somewhat wet grass, then it will inherently work well practically anywhere. To reiterate, I think they have a great concept, and a good start, I just think a little more refinement is needed for the price they’re asking.
I agree there could be some additional features. The main feature I think should be a travel mode, which lets you increase the speed significantly to get it to where you need it. I also believe it should have an integrated seven-way connector that is wired to control the brakes on the trailer.
I suppose this would be a good tool if you had REALLY tight spaces where a tow vehicle could just not fit. It would be even cooler if had like a "speed mode" where you could move a bit quicker on long straight areas the switch it back to "crawl" mode when you get to those tight spaces. For me, don't need it.
We have a pretty good slope to our driveway & I'd like to see what's the greatest slope this will work on. Would slso like to see how badly it might chew up our old asphalt driveway as we move our TT around. If it could pass those 2 tests, I'm in because this would be a game changer for us older RVers when it comes to moving the rig around. Thanks for this review👍
Great review. I've been looking at this product and was kinda holding back. I agree with Ryan that there are some sites where this could come in handy where you can turn your trailer around. I wounder if you can use this in a situation where you need to level your trailer and use leveling blocks. that would be a good test. thanks for the video.
Yes, it’s a lot of money, but..I live in a duplex and have to share the garage and driveway with the other tenant. He and his wife have separate cars. There is about a 6” space between our cars if we both park as close to the edge as possible. There is a slope to the driveway. No way is there enough room to back my truck without the chance of hitting one or both of the neighbors vehicles. The entire driveway is about 2 1/2 car lengths long. The street in front is 2 lane. Trying to back a trailer up the driveway is impossible for me. I need to mention here that I am blind in my left eye and my depth perception is nonexistent. Bottom line, this setup would be perfect for me. I had to sell my boat for the very reasons I just explained. One of these will be in the garage before I buy my next boat.
Interesting product. Better to use inner conditions instead of wet so you don’t tear up your yard it appears. How long of battery life does it have I wonder? The heavier the trailer you use should take more of the battery life I would imagine. Quicker to use a truck or Bad Boy, but not as fun.
Dang JD, coolest 'tool'(?) I've seen y'all use to date! I'm betting y'all are going to be lifting this device into/onto the truck/RV whether y'all want to, or not. Curious how y'all are going to clean it up? Spendy... mhmm. Worth it...'eh? Fun factor...100%! Y'all's backing ability... again 100%! Giddy up.
I can see people geting into issues moving their trailer around and it runs down a hill, I dont see this holding it back. Very useful in right enviroment, Impressed it can move your trailer in soft grass. Do the instructions say to tie a rope or do they give you something to pull the break away switch when just in case, you know people will take chances. I like it and see it useful. They should have a standard rv adaptor you can plug into the wiring harness that can apply 12 vdc to the breaks if needed. Thanks for the video good example.
so I purchased the something like this called the Valet. This can be used with an hand crank or you can use a power drill and it does the same this as this but much cheaper. I did a video of it on my TH-cam channel. Bunky’s workshop.
Wow for the price it seems only those with money to burn can afford it! How heavy is it? AND seriously you can’t get it wet! Not very good when you’re in a tight space in the rain!! I mean it seems to do the job pretty well and I think a smallish tripod base for the ball would do away with the tightening of the post pretty much and make it more stable on inclines.
Speed would be fun. But, I agree low and slow would safer and less stress. I do like the walk around ability. Now if they could invent a fifth wheel version….
Seems a little overpriced for its capability. I would love to see it integrate with a 7-pin connector for trailer brakes. I tried the whole video to think of a practical use for it other than something like a dealer showroom.
Sure looks like to will do well in wet conditions. I thought for sure it was going to fail…but that thing did everything and more. I thought the post would be too weak for that size trailer and I never thought it would move the trailer let alone do what it did. I was impressed, but at $3k+ I doubt I would be a player. My trailer is just a 12’ long ROG 12RK Survival Series by Encore RV…about 2000lbs dry weight, single axle. This thing would take it likely anywhere which would be pretty cool, but that’s a hefty price for what I would need it for.
I think I’ll keep the $3800 in my bank account and use my truck. I’ve never had a problem I couldn’t solve with the truck. Lol
Then obviously you don't need this. If you can fit your RV everywhere you could potentially want to put it with your truck, then this is not a product for you. Keep the money

Where did you purchase your Trailer Mover. Googled it & Rancho Cucamonga & came up empty for the local source.
@@shawnlshs i live in rancho cucamonga, where do I get one? I tried google couldn't find the one you're talking about
@@Trinity_Window_ProductsI really do not know how to give you the number as I cannot post any phone numbers here.
Made a front hitch for my pickup. It’s worked out well. I can park my trailer with ease. Your trailer mover is a great invention.
I bought one last week to pull my 9000 triple axle surf boat into the storage unit and it works awesome!!!

On the next episode of BTBRV Life JD repairs all the damage to his grass…. 🤣😂
beast yes, only issue I see are the connection on the post to the lower looks a little weak

I think the terrain dictated the outcome more than anything

THIS WAS SO FREAKING COOL I WISH THEY HAD SOMETHING LIKE THIS FOR FIFTH WHEELS
They do have something similar for 5th wheels

Sounds like you have a lot of issues going on. 😂 Might be cheaper just to pack it up and move?
Pretty dang handy!
Steering to one side means the opposite tracks is a bit loose and needs to be adjusted !
Pretty cool if you got the money to spend!

Any idea how this would work on utility trailer up slight incline with about 1600 lbs of weight?
It works amazing and would do a light little trailer like that up a pretty good incline no problem
How long is the charge
What is the weight of that trailer compared to the 9000# rating of the trailer valet?
How much of an incline was the ground ? I have the park-it dolly. But it will not do too much incline.
What's the tongue weight and trailer weight? Is there slight slope you your yard? Thanks for the great video!
cool tool
I hope you werent supposed to thread the whole thing on before putting weight on it. Mightve damaged threads if so.
Very cool! Is it waterproof?
How long is
Really wish they made a higher capacity version. My boat/ trailer weigh over 22k lbs
Wow!!
I wonder how it would handle the incline on a driveway? I think the company says it can do something like 12%.
Great question. Didn't have a greater slope available

The biggest drawback being that you can't act as your own spotter at the back of the trailer.
@@johnpalmer3848 That is totally true but it’s not $3800. Maybe they will have a after Christmas sale 👍

Would the remote control work better if it also had a joystick?
I think it would. Or even DJI type controls.
@@BTBRVReviews Not sure what "DJI" controls are...never heard of that term before.
DJI Drone controls
"Give it a bit of a running start".....at about 10 ft/min!
If you got money to burn,go for it. If used for storing multiple campers for winter stoorage probably. Average guy no.
controller needs to use a joystick, for sure.
Nice toy. It would be good for home users. I expect a professional would be frustrated for speed.
It's definitely slow to drive up to your trailer, but when connected it moves at a manageable speed that doesn't stress you out
Speed would be fun. But, I agree low and slow would safer and less stress. I do like the walk around ability. Now if they could invent a fifth wheel version….
It's neat, but way to slow to be used in realistic applications
Not sure I would want it to go any faster. Way too many chances for error and miscalculation
Possibly a two speed gearbox would help?
Seems a little overpriced for its capability. I would love to see it integrate with a 7-pin connector for trailer brakes. I tried the whole video to think of a practical use for it other than something like a dealer showroom.
For $4400 that's a VERY hard pass. Even for half that it's still a hard pass.
Nice $3,800 play toy...if the ground is flat and dry
Ground wasn't smooth, completely flat, or anywhere near dry......so
Sure looks like to will do well in wet conditions. I thought for sure it was going to fail…but that thing did everything and more. Some people really cant steer a trailer going backwards
dope but just to slow
Seems too slow to go more than a few feet. I'd hate to see what happens if it drops into a pothole.
With this, you can avoid any pothole
Not for that much money!
Looks like a waste of money
