was about to say the same, so many highly modified cars can't even get close to touching that with a far longer straightaway, let alone with that stability. it's a beast.
Jackie I genuinely appreciate these videos. I am trying to get into Time Attack with a 2023 BRZ, I've had a lot of hurdles with life and the car over the last year but watching these really helps keep me motivated. Thank you!

I’m so happy to see all the adjustments playing its role and helping you that sick lap time! Makes me want to get an m2 as well😂😂😂😂😂
Softer front compression and stiffer front rebound and rear compression, so the nose stays closer to the ground for longer. This will cost you a little stability under braking, and at low speeds so don't go too extreme.
Amazing build Jackie. Not a fan of Pure Turbos unfortunately, blew 2 of their turbos in a 8 month span doing only 4 track days and my motor basically went bye bye. They took zero responsibility. Just my experience.
Man that drive train is amazing but the weight(complete vehicle) seems to overwhelm the tires. It’s crazy how how much more this gen is from the previous (+300lbs). Have you guys been able to figure out where it seems to be coming from? My thoughts are the body. “High strength steel”
It’s not that much heavier than the previous gen. 1710-20 kg v 1620 kg. Most of the reviews don’t understand the weight given from BMW is the car with 3/4 tank fuel plus 75kg driver.
@@samellio Well according to Bmw technical docs. The f87 3450-3505. F87 comp 3600-3655. G82 1775kg or 3913lbs. Bear in mind a g80 xdrive four door m3 is 1805-1855kg(3979-4089lbs). G80 rwd 1780kg(3924lbs).
@@chrispetty5058 Yes, but BMW are using different measuring standards. The weight for G series is DIN (3/4tank plus driver). The weight for F series is measured without fuel and no driver. That's why the G series appears so much heavier. Put them both on scales with full tank and there's probably less than 100kg difference. I think Jackie Ding did weigh his before mods but can't remember what it measured or which video it was on. Maybe it was about 1800kg with driver, so accurate to BMW's DIN claim.
@@samellio so according to bmw g87, the DIN scale for f87 comp 1550kg. G87 1770kg. Og f87 1495kg. Now, I would think these numbers aren’t using the carbon seats which apparently save 10kg. Or carbon brakes. What made me aware of how porky this new 2 series became was Misha channel last year. He did note that prior to weighing it , it felt very heavy compared to previous m240x. The G87,80, and 82 seems to be very heavy across the board. When they ran a g80 as taxi it went through more parts than there f80 much sooner. Does the tire lose the grip at the sprint lap? Anyway I do feel the m2 is heavier. At some corners, m2 is just not as smooth out as TA90. Outside the content, I forget if I misread the rule or so but looks like it is allowed to use e85 in gridlife?

I am curious why you have not shaved unnecessary weight? The back seats, door panels, dash board,
Do you have a square tire width? If not I think widening the front some to match might alleviate some of that nasty high speed understeer🤔
