I don't think so. A car that can be sold in Thailand must be of reasonable quality. If quality and price don't go together, then they probably won't be able to sell at all because there are quite a lot of competing options.

They also have monopoly and own all the electric charging stations in the country. Most Vietnamese have national pride and support local brands over Chinese brands due bad quality and fake products.

In my opinion if there is a good feed back of BYD in Vietnam may be VF will be discount the currently price that it good for Vietnamese for sure.
Note: Example a cheap price but good quality EV in Thailand now is Neta V (95 hp, 150 N.m, 384 km) is 11,950$ (Discount from 15,290$)
Whoever makes a car that is worthwhile and worth the price, that person will get sales from Thailand.
I don't think so. A car that can be sold in Thailand must be of reasonable quality. If quality and price don't go together, then they probably won't be able to sell at all because there are quite a lot of competing options.
