nicely done, I was wondering though how do you set your tone knobs? I feel like I come very close to Mayer's tone but you seem to have your knobs all the way down to like 3. I get almost the exact tones as these with the tone all the way to 10 (using a fender amp and a PRS silver sky)

Thanks a lot!!! I really use the tone knobs settings depending on what pickup I'm using and the song. For example, in songs like Gravity or Slow dancing, I use the tono at 8, because the idea is to have a soft tone on the guitar. In bold as love, I use the tones at 10 by the strength that is needed for the song. 🙌

Mayer showed great promise as a guitar player but in 20 years he hasn’t produced anything highly original or iconic that people would recognise in the street, and his guitar work is quite bland with licks and riffs taken from Hendrix and others. He has never had a hit because riffs and licks are not the same as a great original melody.
