We try to feature all guitar styles. This guy is carrying the torch for thirties style swing guitar. Folks. This is as good as it gets

I just came across him lately and instantly identified with the style - its' a very natural style that forms the melody out of the chord shapes you'd be playing anyway to accompany someone -you just have to swing it properly- course this style leads one to look at instruments from the 30s-50s and that's where Norman's comes in! 😄

Well Norm, it does not need to get any better! I am not a fan of this genre but his artistry just sucked me right into the vortex.

Jonathan is truly the master of the Allan Reuss rhythm and chordal-solo style. I hope his playing and lessons attract more young guitarists to '30s and '40s swing.

To say that Jonathan is a master is a real understatement.

    • @Scotmend

I don't think so, I think the term master is overused. This guy has mastered his chosen specific musical genre/area, the term makes sense.

Thank you Norman for making this happen and thank you Jonathan for demonstrating this incredible instrument so superbly, both Guitar and Player are an absolute treat, as is the choice of material along with it's performance and don't be so humble, I certainly include your Vocal Jonathan.. Bravo.
