I once listen to John Mayer, documentary about how he came about the music world. He said, he was self taught. Coming home from school at age 14/15 yrs old, sitting on the edge of his bed, practicing his guitar and learning music! John M. starting gigs, at an early age at local venues.

A man truly in touch with his soul and himself.... the man is absolutely always at the fullest potential he's had... ever since he started, he was ALWAYS just as good as he is now which is crazy. the man is truly a legend.
The way he said ‘this is beautiful’ on reflecting to A Face To Call Home is so geniune and precious. I’m sure every Mayer fan agrees. This is our wedding song and it will always have a special place in my heart. Thank you, John!
As a big fan of Johns and of singer songwriters in general, and a player I've always thought Born and Raised was a masterpiece. I still think it is.

I always say you see the best of him when he has an acoustic guitar. Many artists can captivate crowds with electric but it takes something special to captivate an audience with an acoustic with no loop pedals or anything

I’m kind of upset that it really seems he has a weak signal from his guitar the whole night. It seemed liked he realizes it at the start, tried his best to get the sound guys to figure something out. Realizes that nothing is gonna happen and that the show must go on, and now this guy has to go try his best with a shitty guitar signal. That must suck. But dam, what a professional. Still sounds killer
