I’ll be showing my partner around the touristy places (ocbc skyway, gardens by the bay, lau pa sat skewers at night) and etc. I heard its raining right now and was wondering if the rain will ruin our plans? Hows the rain there right now? Is it like raining periodically for an hour or 2 during the afternoon and then clear by the evening or? Can we watch gardens by the bay light show and stuff?

I think you got the sentiment right. Sichuan Dou Hua is a very good Singaporean Mala Cuisine, but not an authentic one. Very palatable, but if you give it to true chinese, they probably wont like it.

I never liked 辣子鸡. I feel like 口水鸡 tastes more authentic as a Sichuan dish lol. They're both spicy and numbing chicken but i feel like theres more flavor for 口水鸡 whereas 辣子鸡as mentioned, feels like eating popcorn chicken lol
Bro youre cooked, your future series all gotta plan if feasible to travel to the origins. I hope that doesnt become a factor in you not doing certain foods because of the travel

Many years ago they had a la carte menu buffet, which was very good. Now, I don’t think they have it anymore.
I wonder how spicy is thier mala in Chong Qing in comparison with MacDonald Mc Spicy as a baseline.
