In Kedah and Perlis, we use the word gulai. Kari is more popular in Pulau Pinang. I cannot say for certain, but gulai is not Indonesian. It is Malay word. IMO.
Tomato sambal is a killer. Not sure you know tomato adds a dept of flavours or umami into the sambal and therefore it brings out the taste and texture of the sambal itself. OMG you should go try tomato sambal! GOT SUCH THING SIA.

first time watching this channel, all I could say is just spending rm100+ for nasi lemak is insane
in this specific case, it's not just nasi lemak but also not those unnecessary items like gold leaf to make it expensive.
