My only comment on technique: Prepare the sauce and chicken while the pasta is cooking. Cook for about 2 minutes less than the package instructions for "al dente". Reserve the pasta water. Then, rather than draining the pasta and letting it dry out and cool, add it directly into your sauce and allow it to finish cooking in the pan. The reserved pasta water can be added if things look a little dry and to make the sauce even silkier and smoother.
Yes I learned to always add a little bit of pasta water to your sauce because the starch makes everything come together. That pasta water is like GOLD flavor wise!
I just made this for my Family tonight and I had to come back to let you know how incredible it was. My Husband is not a pasta lover but told me this is one of the most amazing things I’ve ever made. Thanks sooo much!

I made this two nights ago and wanted to thank you for sharing the recipe. I will be making this dish again. My family and I think you have an amazing palate. We are yet to dislike any of your recipes both savoury and sweet. Another favourite in our household is your lemon cheesecake topped with lemon curd 😄
Hello from San Francisco Bay Area. I am making this dish tomorrow night! Love this channel and how you get right to it, with little tidbits of wisdom thrown in.❤❤❤
@@simplethings1363 John always puts a link to the recipe in the description, rather than the recipe itself. Check for something that says”Full recipe here.”
My family loved this! I substituted gluten free noodles, Kate hill dairy free cream cheese, coconut cream and ghee for butter. My littles asked if I could make it more 😊 TY!
Saw this a couple of days ago. I didn’t have all the ingredients but this inspired me to create my own pasta dish with what I did have and it was delicious! Thanks for all the great recipes, cooking tips and inspirations!
This looks awesome! The only thing I would do differently is peel the tomatoes because tomato skins are nasty. My garden is producing tons of tomatoes and peppers right now so this would be great!
So... This was actually at a menu at a TGIF from where I live at in the Philippines, and I always order this and have always wondered how to make it, and now I just found out you made this recipe. Thank you so much. Now I don't have to go out spend a lot just to eat my favorite. Thanks ^^
This is a an absolutely delicious recipe. However, I tweaked it. I doubled the sauce.i think it would have been too dry otherwise. Added two chopped deseeded jalapeños Added a package of organic washed spinach Added a package of sliced crimini mushrooms It was even better today heated up.

I’m making it tonight. So you know why he reserved the pasta water and what to do with it?
@@LadieKadie- I added mine to the sauce. How did yours turn out?

Sending love from Australia ❤
I made this meal last night but without Cajun seasoning. It was more of an Alfredo sauce. Sooo good! Love this……
I made this for dinner tonight and it as delicious. I did add one sliced onion along with the pepper. Would recommend everyone gives it a try.
I had frozen peppers n onion and used that instead.. still amazing at the end. Also cheese stuffed tortellini vs pasta

Clever of you to not put the recipe in the description...now I have to watch the video at least twice all the way through! 😂
Check for the recipe in his website! Then you don’t have to watch the whole video again

That was absolutely delicious! Boy am I glad I made it! Great recipe, thank you!
Thank you! I frequently top my pasta with steamed broccoli. ❤
I keep trying your recipes. Always a success🎉
There is a known rule: Sauce should always wait for the pasta, not the other way around
dos that mean we make the sauce first???? expain
@@pick2206 Yes. put the pasta in the water when the sauce is almost ready
Preach
@lewissammons IT'S NOT PREACHING AT ALL LEWIS, IT'S JUST A RULE OF THUMB OF HOW PASTA SHOULD BE SERVED. 🙄

My favorite 🤩 from Barbara
Looks delicious!
What a nice recipe .what can i use instead of peppers which i am allergic to ?
Looks delicious, sharp knives is important, what do you use to do so?
Niiiiiice recipe I could have some now.
If you want to make this more authentically Cajun, add onions and celery. Cajun cooking calls that mix with peppers "the trinity".
Perfect ❤❤❤Thanks for sharing
Thanks for the recipe😊.. What is the reason you reserve a cup of pasta water?
Do you have any Gaillard copper pots?😊❤
looks great,
Looks Delicious, what kind of knives do you use? Thanks
This sounds good however the recipe is not showing up?
I saw it in the video it gives recipe step by step.
Amazing ❤
Now that's daring. Cutting on the cutting board, while looking in a completely different direction lol
Yummy ❤
YUMMMMM !
Yer making me hungry . AGAIN
How about adding mushrooms?
I'm early !!!! Can't wait to try this week!
so yummy 😋 😋
Can you make Cajun Rice, thanks 😊
Haha someone has taken a video effects Skillshare class! :D
Thanks for the idea, What did you do with the reserved pasta water?
Good question 😁
Usually, that's used to thin out the sauce if it gets too thick. I guess he didn't need to do that?
Use a pan with higher sides so it doesn't fall out.
Hey JK! I bet some pickled jalapenos would be tasty in your recipe.
👀 searching for the Garlic Bread you made .....,😊😅❤
Yummy ❤😊
Mamma Mia!
You killed your pasta!
Sauce first 😂
There doesn’t seem to be a recipe link …😊
Yummo's 😋
