    Got mine the other week, I'm impressed !!
    Even thinking of selling my evanix Sniper which I thought was the dogs danglies until I fired a Wildcat :-)

      It's a great rifle and my most used one now. You should keep the Evanix though, that seems a great rifle as well.

      Hi, just purchased one and I am having an issue with the loading of the mag as it does not just pop in is this normal? It needs to go in just so or it will not load..

  • @vinnyd8108
    @vinnyd8108 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    you do need to spin it slightly and push the cooking handle in gently to line it up sometimes. It's something you will get used to it suspect

    Nice clear, no faff and up close views, thanks for uploading this video.
    The shroud length is a little confusing though as that does indeed look longer than other UK .22 wildcats I've seen so far on here.
    Do you know if your were on the second or third 'batch' of imported wildcats by any chance?
    Regards
    Darren

      +Darren, DMD Saddlery thank you. i was surprised at the length of the shroud when i first got it as well. thought it was going to be shorter. i was told that shroud length is calibre specific, getting longer with bigger calibers.
      i think i had one from the first batch that the UK had. got it in July 2015.

      +lovemud100 oh ok then I see, yes I was under the impression they were caliber specific too, does indeed look like you got the .25 shroud to me. No bad thing though in my opinion 👍

      +Darren, DMD Saddlery it's nice and quiet which ever one on there. Nice leather work and carving on your up loads by the way.

    Not a lot of reviews out on these from impartial people it seems, for people just now getting into PCP`s thats a big disappointment.
    I`ve fiddled with the .22 version and the retailer even let me dry-fire it inside the shop with just a single baffle installed, pretty much heard nothing and spent the next 5 minutes gathering all the papers that flew off the desk I used as aiming reference..
    I`ve ordered this air rifle in .25 caliber (and I`m sure hundreds more have) and will have it in 2 months time, but where are the reviews? I`m sure I`ve ordered an air rifle with good quality, worksmanship, care put into its conception and assembly, but seeing reviews and videos that show what its capable of so I can make up my mind as to what I`m going to have to do to get more out of it would be kinda sweet..
    Has the FX/Airguns of Arizona vs Talon/Joe/etc war over in the U.S reached the point at which none of the known YT airgun channels dares attempt an honest review out of fear of being blacklisted by either party or something?
    It`s as if since June, air rifles on youtube, what in the hell is going on?

    Great video.... So what are the best pellets for a sub 12ft pound Wildcat in your opinion buddy?

    • @lovemud100
      @lovemud100  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi mate. I find the best are air arms field Diablo but the tightest groups are JSB jumbo Diablo RS and they're lighter so have a flatter loop.

      Cheers for that mate your a star. I liked RWS Superfield in my R10 MKII. Have you tried them in the Wildcat as might be getting a wildcat tomorrow or weekend.

    • @lovemud100
      @lovemud100  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +waddac2 yes I have tried those. The wildcat doesn't seem to be fussy on which brand pellet it uses, I tried a few test packs and those style of pellets group well. The two pellets I said about seemed to be that bit tighter groups though. Hope you get your wildcat.

      I got my wildcat today before I came to work amte and well impressed with looks and weight. I took scope off my r10 and quickly put it on and had a look through. The mounts I had on r10 were lowest type mounts and don't think they suit the wildcat due to when I put but upto my cheek it seems I have to sort of scrunch my neck a bit or move wildcat more or less to my cheek bone and not comfortable at all, so may need medium height mounts for better viewing through scope.

      +waddac2 sorry for the late reply. glad u got the wildcat mate great riffle. I use high mounts on there. It feels that I could do with an extra couple of millimetres though. I think it's a thing with all bullpups that they need higher mounts.

    Where did you get that BiPod and that extra magazine accessory? I want both of those items for mine.

    • @lovemud100
      @lovemud100  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thomas Gardner hi, I got the bipod from a local shop, it's a Harris bipod. You should find them easy online. For the magazine holder, there is a link in the description to a video and in that videos description is a link to his eBay shop where he sells them. Thank you.

    Why does your shroud extend so far. The .22 should have the shroud extend just a few inches past airtube?

    • @lovemud100
      @lovemud100  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, I'm not sure. The first photos of the Wildcat the shroud was shorter but the shroud on the finished product is longer, all I can think is the shroud was too loud in the short version.

      +lovemud100 hi i think is about the calibers... i had the 3 calibers side by side and each shroud is bigger than the other

      Phillip Hamilton Lee with my wildcat if the cocking lever isn't all the way back, even by a millimetre the magazine won't go in. Once it's in you need to rotate the magazine until it clicks into position. Other wise the pellets won't be lined up with the barrel.

      Hi I got the bipod at my local gun shop. It's a Harris 9-13 swivel, the swivel takes any cant on the riffle not the left to right movement. Here is a link to the exact same bipod www.uttings.co.uk/p103127-harris-model-s-lm-bipod-9-13-inches-notched-legs-swivel-base-hb1125-s-lm/?mobile_version_preference=desktop#.VjVPGV_fX7o

    how did u mount the bipod

    • @lovemud100
      @lovemud100  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi. I fitted a sling stud. It was straight forward. Drill a smaller hole because the stock is only made of some sort of plastic, then the sling stud gets screwed in the hole. Then the bipod clips onto the sling stud.
