Asheville is really nice with lot of shops, restaurants, bars etc. which is both good and bad. In other words, Ashville is a tourist town. I've been there a few times and found this to get old. The cost of real estate is very high so it might be better to look at nearby towns such as Hendersonville . The Ashville area is beautiful and the air is extremely clear and clean. I did like the liberal vibe in Asheville.
