For State #16 on our journey to all 50 states, we spent a day in North Carolina! More specifically, Asheville, NC! We started the day with an amazing breakfast in West Asheville at Biscuit Head before heading Downtown to explore the city via the Asheville Urban Trail! From there, we made our way to the River Arts District then onto the Blueridge Parkway for a scenic sunset drive!

Love you guys! I grew up in NC. I lost most of my accent but I am mesmerized by Matt’s accent. I really appreciate your honesty about the food situations. It’s not good to eat heavy at every meal, especially when traveling. I love that you go into thrift stores. I also love that you are not showing constant drinking alcohol/it’s ok in moderation but some travel channels show it too much. I appreciate your vibe.

Great video! Biltmore is my favorite place to be! It’s amazing especially at Christmas! Not only the mansion but the gardens, trails and restaurants! It’s definitely away to step back in time and detox from the world! You should have came spent the night with us! Love you two! ❤️❤️

First of all, with the both of you, your teeth and smiles are so perfect you could be on the Hallmark channel.
I was cruising the mountains on my motorcycle from Michigan and stopped in Asheville to spend the night after a long day of beautiful mountain riding. I did not check the town out, but liked the vibe.
I moved to the most perfect town in Arizona, Prescott. From here I explored everywhere in West, mostly by motorcycle. Been here 13 years, and now have lost that sense of discovery as I have seen everything. Thinking of moving to Western NC. So I am soaking up all of the videos I can about it. Hickory seems like it would be nice too.

Me and my husband have done the Cherohala Skyway when we go to Tennessee. It is a pretty drive if you are going to Tennessee from North Carolina.

I am going to the Biltmore for my Birthday! 🎉 It's during Christmas and a weekend, so the tickets were $139. With the taxes and fees, two tickets were $300! Ouch, but hey it's my birthday 🎂 You do get to do a wine tasting, and tour the grounds, as well as the house. Super excited 😊 over 100 decorated trees inside 🎄, I hope the photos live up to their hype in person. 👀
Dear Lovely Host/ Guide Couple: I lived there in Asheville for nearly two years circa 1998ish -2000. It appears to have changed a lot since I was there. I did a lot of working and partying there and so on.... Some fond memories of Haywood St. remain.

My wife and I visited Asheville for the first time and it was fun time! We were going to try out the Pinball Museum but the wait was too long. Saw the minor league stadium for the Asheville Tourists and checked out Biltmore Villages. Great video guys!

Heyyy!! So sorry… we’ve been traveling/filming for the past few days, so we’re just seeing you’re comment! Just outside of Asheville is Arden is a place called French Fryz (great burger joint) and the Chinese place that we went to in the video (Red Ginger) isn’t too bad of a detour and definitely worth it! Thank you so much! There are a lot of great options for good areas to stay in Asheville. A few would be Biltmore Village, Biltmore Park, Downtown, and Grove Park. That is probably one of the most difficult questions that we get asked! I think we could say that the Pacific Northwest is definitely near the top of the list., but it's so hard to narrow it down to just one place though! Glacier National Park and Zion National Park were absolutely amazing too!

Is the Biltmore kid friendly?
Yes! Very much so! Although, it’s probably not the most interesting tour for children, there’s nothing that would make it not kid friendly.

It’s interesting to watch these videos however you don’t know who to believe as far opinions of nc. I’ve seen sites that say it’s one of the worst cities to visit and or live. My wife and I are going to stay at the Bilmore because it’s on her bucket list. I hope it’s not a mistake.
Yea, everyone has their own opinion, and they all seem to be different! Lol… And that goes for pretty much any destination. That’s why we always encourage people to form their own by visiting and seeing places for themselves. As far as Asheville goes, it’s an awesome place to visit (in our opinion). Yes, you’ll probably encounter some homeless, and it’s a very new age/free spirit kind of place which gives it an interesting vibe. The Biltmore/Biltmore Village is its own thing though. Much different from the downtown area. I don’t think you’ll regret your visit. The Biltmore is incredible and should be on everyone’s list. If you want a quieter, small-town vibe, head to downtown Hendersonville! We hope y’all have a great time! Thanks for watching!😊
My wife and I visited last week. Did not like it. Tons of homeless. Some aggressive. A homeless man bothered us.He wanted money. Limited parking. We had to park outside the downtown. The homeless man followed us begging for money when we finally gave him 5 dollars. We saw a woman yelling and she was just in bra and panties. We saw a couple of homeless men shooting up in the downtown little park. When we were there a woman had been robbed with a gun held to her head at night in downtown. We saw it on the local news the next day. Our hotel was overly expensive for a bland modern hotel. It was crowded. Never would we go back. Charleston is much better. I would not advise people to go if you have kids. Just awful.
I don’t like biscuit head it makes me sick there is way better breakfast places in Asheville. Off the subject but her hair looks really cool
Whats with the masks? Is this a practice in Ashville NC . You do know the your eyes are open to any bugs also.
