    I don't think you mentioned exactly where to save the file in s&box. Most people aren't creating default clothes that ship with the game, so they'll want to make their own addon instead of saving to the citizen folder.

      Hey mate! thanks for the comment, yeah definitely will need to make a more in depth video on integrating these into your game modes as addons.

    • @rodlopt

      So how would we make it into our own addon?

    at 30:00 there's a cut in the video where all of those options appear in the inspector, we can't get those options to appear any ideas?

    Separating the geometry for seams... O... M.... G... Why have I never thought to do that? Thank you.

    Anyone who has the issue where its just constantly asking you to compile the model again for no reason. Try closing down the game verifying game cache and creating a new vmdl and texture again. Worked for me. :).

    Hi, why do you fill the gaps? Isn't it wasted geometry that won't be seen, and therefore you should remove it?

    I know they’re planning to allow custom models, so would this flow work for custom models who are not the hotdog?

      With each model, would we have to make a new item of clothing or would a item fit multiple models as long as they’re similar body wise

    Honestly only questions I have are: How did you approach making your LP? Just usual retopology with focus on extra tris in areas that might stretch?
    And for the UVs: Why did you stretch them, doesnt that mess up texel density?
    Cheers a ton for the tutorial!

    • @danduw3d
      @danduw3d  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey thanks for commenting! Planning to do a retopology video in the future, didn't want to go fully into retopology in this video. For the stretching of the UVs, stretching abit to fill more space will has alot more pros than cons, if you're just making sure to keep them the same density before stretching them on the x or y axis, this should be more than fine. If you were to make one piece massive compared to another piece without any rhyme or reason, that'd be bad practice, but abit of stretching on one axis is fine. I mostly do this to fill space, Hope this helps!

    I got a question I hope you can answer for me. I'm a bit curious as to how you go about getting the low poly version of your model that you use to project the high poly version onto inside Substance Painter. How do you go about making that low poly version of the shirt? Is it based somewhat on the Subdiv 1 version of the high poly model in Zbrush, or do you decimate the high poly model inside zbrush and then do a retopo that thing inside Maya? Thanks! Great video :)

    Would you be able to go a little more in depth about making the seams and "hemming".. I'm not sure what you call it? What you did around the collar and sleeves. I also agree that just painting them in looks poopoo and I'd like to try and learn what it is you did. This was a bit fast paced. Thank you for an awesome video!
