Danduw I love you brother, I subbed to you like a few months ago, and I'm loving your content. You're truly having a positive impact on me, thanks man! Much love from Spain!
Honestly thank you so much for these videos Dan, Your way of discussing these topics makes them so easy to digest and understand. I've recently got my first job in the industry as a character artist but it's a contract that will end at some point and it's hard to balance the 9-5 work with also making stuff for your portfolio. I feel like I finish work and then don't want to do anymore art like you said but then also getting random bursts of productivity and inspiration, so truly thank you so much for these videos they help a tonne! (Also love the Aunty Donna hat!)
Always good to listen to your talk while sculpting. Regarding the burnout part, I feel like instead of listening to other people, artists should find it in themselves whether they prefer to push themselves or otherwise. Because at the end of the day, no professional artist can measure your capacity, unless they're very close to you or smth.
as a Maya low poly modelling enjoyer, I enjoy this time lapse
