In this video, I install a Battery Tender Junior 800 on my motorcycle for use with it's Lithium Ion Battery. This Battery Tender model allows selection and float charging of both Lead Acid and Lithium Ion batteries.

I just installed one of these, my local O'Reilly's had this same unit for $35 in different packaging. I hooked her up today and everything looks to be working as advertised on my Yamaha Road Star, w/lead acid battery.
It looks like this will be good to be able to check your battery before you head out on a motorcycle ride.
Yes a dead battery before a planned ride is no fun at all!

Quick question, what if my negative is too short to screw to the body?
Finally went lithium battery SHORAI , QUESTION is battery charging outlet the tethering outlet the bike has a factory one do I avoid that one and connect the one that comes with the with the new charging lithium battery charger / maintenancer/charger it comes with its own positive negative to the two prong male female prong tether outlet should I utilize that and avoid the stock Harley one or should I use the Harley one will be just as acceptable

Mine failed less than two years into the five year warranty (purchased 11/27/2020). Autozone would not refund or exchange so I’m stuck with dealing with the manufacturer. Naturally it just failed on Labor Day holiday weekend so the manufacturer is closed until Tuesday. Emailed customer service so we’ll see. A number of repair videos exist which show the capacitors used by Battery Tender are garbage and you would think the manufacturer would have upgraded the part by now. My recommendation is do not buy and put yourself through the ringer.
Yellow light keeps blinking but solid green light on. Hmmmm?! Supposedly means not charging. New battery in bike. Won't start( bike). INDIAN SCOUT! These bikes are known for hard start or no start in cold weather. New starter in bike as well. Thinking buy different battery that has more cold cranking amps.(WHICH IS BEST),!
Hello - yeah not sure what type of battery you have, but this Battery Tender has the switch for Lithium-Ion and Regular, so make sure to select the correct one. Most motorcycle batteries are still Lead Acid batteries, and in my experience they go bad so easily. A few times fully discharging, and a cell goes bad and the battery is junk. Thanks for watching!

@@warhog1861 Yes,Charger good ,battery good. Cleaned post and put electro grease on ends of bike and charger and wala problem gone.😁😁😁😁
