  • The media has been ripping the Humane AI pin to pieces recently, but is it really that bad? Well, let me tell you why this $700 device is practically a paperweight.

      Hey ;-)
      The AI-Pin is a cheap APP sold as a hardware product . . . you can do the same things with an APP-extension for Siri or Hey Google or Alexa . . .

    You are making fair points but a iPhone still needs a dataplan to use it everywhere like the Ai pin. The only difference is that you can choose your plan for your phone. But the AI pin is WAY over priced with 700 dollars versus like O1 or Rabbit R1 that need NO subscription.

    • @VeenitXSheth
      @VeenitXSheth  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      True but I guess my overall point was just trying to show that the pin is WAY too expensive

    It's a bad product no doubts on that. But you shouldn't call it a scam without actually using the product.

      Yeah I guess I was basing the research for this video on other sources along with the Humane website itself and to me and in my opinion it seems kinda scummy but I get your point

  • @supitschillbro
    @supitschillbro หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    your first point doesn’t make any sense. the pin helps you “stay in the moment” but not having a screen. you then say this is stupid, because you should be able to see things you’re buying.
    you’ve completely changed the issue. you then randomly said something about street signs, which also wasn’t relevant?
    idk man, there are plenty of reasons to dislike this product, but this video doesn’t make sense.
    you introduce the mrwhostheboss clip as him “asking a question” but he didn’t ask a a question.
    i could go on. i think you have grossly inflated ideas of how good a product like this should be because of phones. i think you have to remember that A. this is the worst this product will ever be, and B. it will get better as its AI learns more about you.

    • @supitschillbro
      @supitschillbro หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      also, you’re comparing the pin to one of the best consumer products, ever. if you compared the original iphone to the iphone of today, you’d hate the original iphone. the pin is a first gen device from a new company in a new product category. you probably need to let people actually use it before you throw out words like “scam” or “fraud” or whatever

    • @VeenitXSheth
      @VeenitXSheth  หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      For your first point, yes I did say that the pin helps you stay in the moment. But this wasn’t my statement, rather from the CEO of the company. That is what he said the goal or intended reason of buying the product is. And I said that it not having a screen is a way it does help with achieving that goal. But my overall point with the “see the things you’re buying” was that the world revolves around visuals. The e-commerce part was just an example of that fact. I don’t understand how I’ve changed the issue: one of the biggest issues or criticisms of the device is the fact that it doesn’t have a screen (which makes it harder to use on a daily basis). And the part about street signs, that was relevant to the example I was giving. I was trying to say that the world is built around your eyes and seeing things, and a street sign is an example of that since you have to see to understand what it’s trying to tell you. I don’t know if saying that this video doesn’t make any sense is fair. Plus to your point about how this is the worst this device will be since it’s the 1st version, I completely agree with you. But the point of this video wasn’t about trying to show the future plans of the device and how it could be good in the future, the goal was to show how in its current form, it’s not worth it. And as far as the AI learning more about you as you use it, how does that have anything to do with my points. My issues with the AI on the pin were that is was extremely slow and that it hallucinates far too often.

      The only reason I’m comparing it to one of the greatest devices ever being the smartphone is simply because of the fact that this device is trying to be its own standalone thing and trying to “replace” the phone in a sense so comparing it to the phone is a pretty fair argument

    Using the word "scam' far too loosely. It's simply a bad product.

    • @VeenitXSheth
      @VeenitXSheth  หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Yeah I just feel that the word emphasizes just how bad the product is in the sense that it’s almost a “scam” like product. But I see what you mean
