I did a road trip last week about 250 miles and I averaged 27.5 mpg between 70-80 mph . I traded my Tacoma for the Ridgeline and it’s amazing how much better the Ridgeline is for daily driving.
I have an F159 but am leaning toward a Ridgeline to replace it after 11 years. Whenever I mention that to people that are body-on-frame=truck guys I know, I ask them first if they think the Land Rover Defender or Road Ranger or Jeep Grand Cherokee are real trucks. They are always surprised these well known off roaders are all unibody. It helps stave off all the negative comments before they start. Another is when I point out that the payload on a Tacoma TRD Pro I test drove was 995 and the Ridgeline Sport I was looking at was 1500. Which is the real truck?
I guess that would make the guy who brags about grabbing women by the genitals and expresses a desire to date one's own daughter and gets held judicially liable in tort for the sexual violation of a defenceless woman utterly indispensable?
I am driving a Maverick with off-road Tremor package...not too many trucks with 4-wheel drive and locking differentials for less than $35K. Did pretty good in the dirt....drives like a truck to me.
It’s a truck. A good truck. It’s all the truck 3/4 of suburbia actually needs; people who buy big trucks just so they can drive a truck and don’t actually use it as a truck are posers.
The biggest problem with the ridgeline….it’s essentially like our 2012 pilot. Yes, a lot has changed, and I do like the 3.5l engine in our pilot. It’s been great, but, I don’t want the exact same mpg numbers from 12 years ago in a new truck I’m likely to keep for 10 plus years. I need at minimum 25mpg combined to get my interest. Gas isn’t going to be cheaper in the future, the only way I can future proof my investment is to buy better at each interval. I like the truck, but not willing to buy one as is.
@@gavingreen3475 So if you have two trucks and they are the exact same other than one has a flat bed and the other has a box bed, is one a truck and the other isn't?

Thank you sir. I love how you point out flaws that are never shown on other TH-cam channels. Much appreciated, thank you ! 🙏
more to come
Dictionary said nothing about a frame

Thanks for sharing the A/C is just a cooler, and not cold for the desert.
Thank you for mentioning the emergency brake!!
that brake pedal has been a thorn for ages...unreal they have not fixed it. More unreal these you tube testers dont say anything about it.
P.S. I am glad Honda retained the 6-cylinder engine instead of adopting a turbo-4 as Toyota did.
A turbo four will be in the 2025 but a V-6 will remain as an option.
@chadhaire1711 did they confirm turbo for 2025? Glad they'll still keep the V6 as an option though
@@tonyt978 Yes...same turbo four out of another Honda
@chadhaire1711 thanks for the info and the video! Nice to see a more simple and practical review.
Dang it man!! I dang near sprayed my beer out of my nose when you found your "favorite girls".. It burned not cool! LOL!!!
Honda Ridgeline: Still more truck than most “truck guys” use; none of the gender affirming care they so desperately need.
It has a bed like a truck but no frame. Still useful
Like Joe Biden with body and no brain--still useful....at what i don't know...sniffing girls hair? LOL...

Same with the Maverick off-road Tremor 4x4 I am driving today....

Gas will be cheap if you vote for trump.....I suggest a ford maverick then
Just call it a "ute" mate - end of argument.
Then what do we call the Ford Maverick?
@@chadhaire1711 Overrated.
@@gavingreen3475 But will you call it a truck was the point?
@@chadhaire1711 In the States I would refer to petrol as gasoline (gas) and a flat bedded utility vehicle as a truck.
@@gavingreen3475 So if you have two trucks and they are the exact same other than one has a flat bed and the other has a box bed, is one a truck and the other isn't?
It's not a real truck because it's front-wheel drive
Ridgelines are all-wheel drive..they stopped making FWD years ago.
Get your facts straight if you're going to join the fight.
All wheel drive
@@trl1980haha
The one my girlfriend's mom has is front-wheel drive
Let the dictionary buy one then. I’ll stick with my Tacoma.
