I wanna go to my hometown state Montana State. Which I know wouldnt be as ideal as Clemon or Alabama. But if I do go to Montana State and play football there. I wanna grind and be the first first round pick out of the school
Hey man, if you try hard enough anything can happen. Believe in yourself and work hard. I would love to see you being a 1st round pick in the future. Good luck on your journey :)

Hey Jaavis, I’m a sophomore, 6,2, 190 Lbs, and it’s my first year of football. I have been working out 5 out of 7 days of the week at my local gym and I plan on doing this for the next 2 years. Do you think that I will have enough experience to play college football by the time senior year is over? Also, any tips?
I think anybody that gives the effort forward and has worked to gain talent has at least a chance, but you have to prove it on tape, that is crucial. Also, try not to make such long plans in the future, use short term goals instead, that will help you stay on track
Check the most updated version of the roster, also check any kind of social media you can to see if people have committed there that play your position! Let me know if you got any more questions!
@@JaavisFootball__1 oh yessir i know the plays like the back of my hand! thanks for that advice and i really wanna get noticed because i see all these facilities and it looks sooo good
4 a week is good! And if you mean how you attend college camps, then you can always sign up on their college Athletics site, however, I do have a video on how to choose what can you should probably attend on my channel!
The biggest thing that you, and anybody else really needs to do in order to get a scholarship, is produce good film that will attract coaches, so I would study up on different aspects of football, and try and produce some really good highlights, I’m not saying it will be easy in the least, but it’s not impossible
i’m a 5’11 170lb soph DB trying out for my first year of HS football. Do you have any tips for a DB to make varsity and ultimately get a D1 scholarship?
I would say learn your position and any other potential position as much as possible and try and be the most well rounded athlete on the field. DB is a very technical position, so learn the technique fast if you can.
I’ve answered a couple other questions like this, but just to break it down I think for foreign players one of the most important things to have in your highlight reels other than big/great plays, is to establish the level of competition you’re going against, cause the difference between you doing really good against bad opponents and doing really good against really good opponents is something that will catch a coaches eye, and on top of that, you gotta work twice as hard to get your film and such out there to the coaches given you’re thousands of kilometers away
@@rajjay1079 depends on the amount of output you’re putting in throughout the week, your body has to have time to rest and recover, for me personally I do two separate workouts (basically 2 a days) throughout the week, one speed/conditioning workout (depending on what I do that day) and one weights appropriate to what I did on the field, saying 6-1 is always better is short sighted just cause different workouts attack during different phases, it’s to much to put in one comment, but doing workouts as an athlete and actually working on a specific aspect (fast twitch muscle focus, strength specific building focus, etc) is a really in depth topic that can’t be equated to just working out 6 days a week, although I’m sure there are great applications for working out 6-1, but you have to accommodate your workload appropriately so your body doesn’t break down in the middle or at the end of the week, sorry bout the paragraph!
I'm amazed at how much change there has been in recruiting in the last 50 years. Great presentation. Correct your name is your BRAND. Watch your interaction with Social Media because they do care. Word hard and good luck.
You can start whenever you want, butttt I don’t think many schools will actually pay attention for a while (unless you’re insane) until probably your freshman or sophomore year of high school if you can produce really good film, but most offers don’t start until your junior or senior year, but you can always attend camps way before then, but being as young as you are, I would go with hopes to improve my athletic skills and not to actually get recruited cause most likely that won’t happen when you’re that young
You can ask me any other questions if you want at any time, or watch my other vids if I have one for it, or tune into a live stream if you want and ask me there! We play games and have fun 😄
I'm a sophomore 6'0-209, I don't know which position I should play, my coach wants me to play TE.. But I want to get more involved with the team, so im thinking something more of like RB or QB.
Depending on the type of offense you run, and if you’re starting, TE’s can be very involved with the team and be in a really good amount of the game, possibly not come out if you’re flexible enough at different positions
@@JaavisFootball__1 im pretty flexible, i played WR in my middle school days, the move to TE was rough since I only put on around 15 pounds, I still have my speed and everything which I why I think I have a shot at RB. But thanks for the heads up, I'll look more into playing TE
