- Halo Infinite ever since release has been surrounded in controversy and has remained a very polarizing topic amongst Halo fans and the overall gaming community. On one had you have the people that love and enjoy Halo Infinite and on the other hand you have people proclaiming "Halo Infinite Sucks", 'Halo Infinite is Trash", "Halo Infinite is Bad", "Halo Infinite is a Bad Halo Game".....etc. The Amazing Lucas is definitely one of those people. He recently played through Halo Infinite on his live stream and was constantly raging and had a mental breakdown during the final boss fight because he couldn't save the game every 3 seconds. Not only that but he had probably one of the worst takes surrounding the Halo Infinite Story that I have ever heard. The Amazing Lucas is your typical PS5 Fanboy that hates anything related to Microsoft, Xbox, 343 Industries, and naturally Halo Infinite. this video is an absolute dumpster fire and is very reminiscent of Upper Echelon GAMERS review of DOOM Eternal.

I’ll never understand the “repetitive gameplay” complaint I see for a lot of games. I feel like every game in existence is repetitive. That’s one of the aspects of video games. You do the same things over and over again till you’re done.
This. It doesn't matter if I play FPS, Strategy, turn based, whatever. The whole point is that it repeats the gameplay until I learn what to do and how to play.
Well, in my opinion, "repetitive gameplay" is when the way you play doesn't change whatsoever and stays the same every encounter. No different mechanics, no extra usuagenof tools or abilities, just like, press one button and you're done.
Yes, every game ever has repetition, but the sign of a good game, to me, is when you can take that repetition and do something new with it, making every encounter just a little different, even if only visually.

@@ultimatepunster5850 not really I'd say repetitive game play is when the game play loop isn't fun for an extended period of time. I can play gta 4 and 5 over and over doing mostly the same things over and over and play quite a while. Same with multi-player shooters the game play is almost the same match to match but undoubtedly addictive and fun. Many people (not me personally) buy sports games every year even though the gamplay has barely changed. The best games often have a tight gamplay loop that by definition is repetitive but is still fun almost every time.
@@joeywalker2061 Well we differ in that I find Rockstar games very boring to play. I love the writing but actually playing the game, I just can't do it. If I'm super interested in a Rockstar game, I'll just watch a non-commentary playthrough on TH-cam because I just don't have fun playing the game myself but I still want to experience the story.

I think chief and cortana's story is beautiful. One of the best parts of the 343 trilogy. Both were created to serve and controlled by the government. Both have been conditioned to complete the mission and push out any emotion that would make them human. Yet they found in each other a way to bring out their human side. It's actually pretty deep and we can go on talking about the philosophy of it for hours.

I completely disagree. The story was fantastic, may be the best in the Halo Series. The Halo Universe has the best Story, Lore, and Depth, of any game, in the history of gaming.
Halo is not a "See Spot Run Story" where it's told in 1 sitting. There literally are manay levels to each and ever Halo game. Halo Infinite has Several Tie Ins and Plots.
@@otherZinc didn’t say it was the best or worst, I said it was subpar in terms of content atleast but from what we can tell and has been confirmed two thirds of the game was cut out and the ending of the game hints to a possible dlc coming out for the campaign. So to say it’s a finished game would be wrong, it does hold up somewhat with its amazing gameplay, art style, etc. Still looking forward to all the rest of the modes, maps, weapons, dlc, forge, and firefight coming out for this game.
@@otherZinc also I didn’t say it didn’t have great lore, story, or dept, I was simply stating that halo infinite as a standalone game does not have as many modes as the rest of the halo games and the story felt rushed (because two thirds were cut out) but all of these problems will be fixed eventually which would make this game the best of the series because they can always add new content whether that be for multiplayer or campaign.

And the funny part is, if he played the whole game on heroic or legendary, he’d actually not have any problems with the last boss. It’s probably the easiest boss in the game despite teleporting everywhere
@@cituce4066 the open world combat was easy but some chieftains , hunters and the 1st time dealing with certain bosses was a challenge , normal would of been too easy heroic was a perfect difficulty

I loved the story as it is because even under that golden visor of the Chief's, you can still feel the emotions that are portrayed during events. Hell, even when Chief and the Pilot were having their bro moment near the crashed condors, you could just feel the sorrow. All in all, it was great.
Bungie and 343 are geniuses at conveying emotion without a face, Bungie with chief AND the fact that none of their games had working facial animations 😂

And also the reason he hugged the master chief at the end was because he was glad the chief was alive because the master chief and the weapon were gone for 3 or 5 days while we (the master chief) were fighting the harbinger and teleport to a different area of zeta halo

@Chaser Blade I'm not sure about that, I played it on legendary and not trying to cheese some parts of it were really hard, specially those weird attacks from the final boss and the 2 spartan hunters at the same time, but besides that the game was pretty good
He did beat the entire game on heroic. It’s all on live stream it’s heroic the entire time except for the first level which he changed 15 mins in and redid the level level again.

Halo Infinite is definitely repetitive. The gameplay is absolutely amazing though. Gunplay feels amazing. That being said. The open world is bland. Objectives are repetitive. Ubisoft style capture a base and take it over. The 15 missions only have 3 different areas. All in all it’s a fun play but can’t see myself going back again

It’s by no means an FPS or an RPG, but the epitome of this good game design is is the fantastic puzzle-solving game called Outer Wilds.

I played destiny 2 on PS4 to see how different it is and I didn't have a problem with aiming at all
Thats inaccurate Destiny 1 and 2 Killzone, Borderlands 3, Borderland Handsome Collection Call of Duty Cold War ,WW2 Apex Legends ,all were available on ps4 and 5 as well.

I'm hyped for Xbox and PS games equally for different reasons, don't care which console it's on.
It probably will be, Horizon was one of PS4s best exclusives and it has less cutscenes or dialogue than The Witcher 3 or AC Origins or odyssey despite them all being RPGs with dialogue choice. Guerrilla might have simplified Horizon because it was a new IP and they never made games like it so it was excusable. Horizon Forbidden West adds all the cut content and new innovations in A.I and World building. The technology that Horizon has Is incredible and no other game rivals it besides Zelda, red dead redemption 2 which are some of the best games ever made.
Nah Lucas will probably hate it because the main character is a woman and she's not a damsel in distress

Almost anything Lucas says can have a valid argument against it and prove how actually stupid he is when it comes to playing certain Xbox games. Sony open world games aren’t even that exciting especially when you have to wait almost two hours to see what real progress you made. For him to make the argument that the game is made for halo fans which is somehow bad, I’m not sure how slow this person has to be. Lucas is literally trying to down play a whole player base because he doesn’t understand something. You know your reaching when your have to make gay jokes about something you don’t like.
