- Halo infinite's Multiplayer was released a month early in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Xbox as well as the Halo Franchise by Microsoft and 343 Industries of Xbox Series X and PC. So far the gameplay of Halo Infinite is incredibly well refined and overall is shaping up to be a great entry in the Halo franchise with Halo Infinite Early Campaign players saying almost unanimously positive things about the game. However, Halo Infinite is definitely not without it's faults and the game has many issues. Primarily circling around the fact that Halo Infinite has no multiplayer playlists and the progression system surrounding the Halo Infinite Battlepass absolutely sucks. However, these are not the complaints that will take center stage in this video because the man who decided to review this game chose to not even download or try the game before putting out his Halo Infinite "review" and proclaiming the game to be a failure and stating that it "looks like a playstation 2 game'. To make things even worse he somehow thinks Halo Infinite is a remaster and says the game needs to be more like Call of Duty Warzone and Call of Duty Vanguard.

Did people forget PS2 games were 480p-720p jagged edges, and terrible draw distancing? I still own a PS2 but playing my PS2 games emulated on my PC are night in day in clarity.
This being a late 2021 game, with such nice graphics and smooth gameplay, takes up surprisingly little space on my hard drive and runs really well on older systems.
If you got more than four gb of vram..which I don't. And trying to get a graphics card today is a pain. :D
@@Sunsetofcanterlot I have 3. This game runs better on my laptop than my Xbox One lol. The game tells me I dont have the RAM or graphics card to run it and then runs it anyway. As long as halo is the only thing running, the game runs fine.
Besides the Battlepass, progression, and not selecting gametypes, this is honestly the best halo multiplayer I’ve ever played

The bots are also a welcome addition. They’re a good warmup and a good way to learn the maps. Bot stomping is also good old fashioned fun as it always has been.

While the monetization may suck, the gameplay is some of the best in years. Calling it a PS2 game graphics wise is just one of the most absurd takes ive ever seen lmao. The graphics are incredible as well.

Love how as I listen to this, I am thinking about the time me and my friend were playing Halo Infinite in CTF, bum rushing the enemy objective with a warthog. Complete reckless abandon as my friend fired the minigun non stop at anything that moved. We were laughing like maniacs the whole time and this is one of my most fond memories that I have made in gaming in a very long time. Definitely try hard energy guys, totally try hard.
Gotta love the moments when you're stacked with a team of friends and goof around. Oddly enough we win more that way.

@@aquatyIys You understand that some of that can also be your own perception of art style right? Halo was never about ultra realistic graphics. Halo 3 while it looks visually stunning style had a unique art style. If you’re looking for true to life graphics then go play Battlefield 1. And remember that this is the multiplayer. Campaign graphics are always far more optimized than their multiplayer counterparts. Red Dead Redemption 2 is a great example of this, and from what campaign gameplay we’ve seen so far of Halo it seems to be the case.

Infinite is amazing, I’m glad I skipped out on vangaurd and 2042, the only problem I’m having is with progression, I don’t see why they wouldn’t just lift the progression from mcc, just with paid battlepasses instead of free ones, and the monetization is real garbage, I wouldn’t mind the odd 2-4 max 20 dollar packs and the fact that there’s only like 18 pieces of armour for the base kits is dog shit, but I’m loving the core gameplay, also forget a triple kill have you ever gotten the perfect medal, the way the halo announcer says that medal is just beautiful

Literally the first sentence spoken in this video shows that he never played halo. The reason why people are so hyped about this halo is that it's the first "real" halo game in basically a decade. Halo 4 and 5 had massive design flaws and didn't feel like halo games, and MCC was a dumpster fire until 343 was shamed into fixing it very recently. It's not like cod where a derivative sequel gets pumped out every year. A new halo game is an event, and this one being any good is a total mirace.

The screenshot of UnderTheMayo's video is my one issue with this video, since he specifically was talking about how it felt to him back in the day, and it was less so Halo in particular and more so how everyone else slowed down afterwards, and he's since made it clear that he now appreciates Halo and it's combat loop

eh I didn't like it that much at all tbh. I think Halo 3 and Reach have a better MP tbh, mainly because the time to kill feels shorter and I feel like all weapons are actually viable instead of just grenade spammers and Battle rifles/DMR's like what I've been seeing in infinite. that's just my preference though. I couldn't care for the battle pass though. Still hyped for the campaign though

The only complaints are that the battle pass doesn’t reward you exp for how well you played and that the battle pass is filled with challenge swappers. Also you can’t select specific modes so teammates usually leave when the mode isn’t the one for their challenge.
I want to also add that people are not playing the game, they are doing their weekly challenges, because regardless if you win or lose, both teams get 50 exp at the end of the match so might aswell throw the match and just do the challenges

This is my first HALO, and I’m loving it. Progression is crap, and the rewards need serious work, but the game is extremely fun and balanced. The game itself is graphically stunning for a sci-fi shooter. It looks excellent and makes the most of its unique art style. That guy must be watching the game on some crap 1080p monitor, because on my PC the game looks amazing.
I think this a great game to be introduced to the multiplayer with. If you're loving the multiplayer and enjoy campaigns, I would HIGHLY recommend getting the MCC. Story is great and gameplay is always fun.

With all of Infinites issues with monetization, Battle Pass, and events. It's one of the best MP games I've played in a long time.
I've never played Halo back in the days, since I've never owned an Xbox. Now, in my late 20-ies, I have played every game, except 5 on the MCC on PC, and I was loving every second of it. I'm so excited for Infinite, and the multiplayer is awesome, best arena shooter I've played in years (I love boomer shooters, never liked COD, BF and others), although, no game mode, map selection and progression are an issue which I hope gets somewhat fixed.

Infinite looks and plays incredibly well. A PS2 would absolutely melt trying to run it. It will fail only if enough people put their foot down regarding the abhorrent level of greed on display from 343 and MS.
While the PS2 is an amazing console it’s not that powerful. The og Xbox was more powerful and I’m impressed that the PS2 kicked its ass.

In 343's defense, they had in-house concerns regarding the monetization and progression system. I haven't the slimmest clue what went into the decision making process, but it feels like this was a MS decision rather than a developer one. Hopefully they can convince the MS execs to walk back on this shit.

Halo captured the attention of every dev that was otherwise working on classic Quake styled FPS games, and caused them to shift focus over to copying Halo, they ended up leaving those old playerbases behind in the process, which is why there are ancient communities still playing Quake 2 and such, since they never truly got a new game with that same experience to jump into.
This is why Mayo has a sour spot for Halo on some level, though he doesn't outright hate it, it shifted the industry so strongly that the industry lost something in the process.

I introduced a large portion of my online friends to Halo last year with MCC. I gifted it to each friend when it was on sale and even when they end up at the bottom of the leaderboard they still have fun laughing at their warthog getting blown up and watching their bodies flying through the air. There's casuals and Playlist for them and there's ranked with all sweats so if you want casual don't go on ranked.
Sadly even casual 4v4 is sweaty because aggressive SBMM. Game tries it's best to give you a 50/50 win ratio

I remember when I used to play a lot of Reach and 4, people would accuse me of being a sweat or tryhard when really I was just good at Halo (At the time, some 8 Years ago) and I bet if I were to hop back into it now, give me a few hours and I'll be kicking ass again

Really disappointed that the guy that complained that Halo 3 on PC dropped early hadn't deleted his channel and only uses his alt channel now. I would have loved to see him lose his shit over Infinite Multiplayer releasing three weeks early.

Honestly the only PS2 games that I can think of that graphically aged decently are Final Fantasy X and XII and Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3.
I would put Splinter Cell:Chaos Theory on that list too.

My first Halo MP....an I'm loving it . Got the BP(first) an just got some sweet armor an I'm set . I get why people don't like the progression but for me ...don't care it's fun .
Why do people think they can just review a game like this? What gives them the idea that "oh I don't understand and therefore don't like this game so I'm going to make a review on the game that I have never played and don't understand." It's so frustrating.
Infinite already has the best start gameplay and graphics wise as far as all the FPS this year goes. It's main issue is progression to cosmetics and monetization but you don't need those to make the game a great experience. So yeah it ain't perfect by any means but it blows the new COD and BF out of the water.

The only problem the game has is the monetization. Too predatory. Everything else is perfection.
As well as progression, lack of service record, in game glitches, and ranking system from what I've seen
And lack of maps. Hopefully we got a lot more at launch

3. Did you play Halo Infinite Pre-patched cuz that had lots of glitches, more glitches then the test servers and don't bother replying cuz I played the test servers so I know what I'm on about
