This has been the craziest thing we have ever worked on! We are super excited to get this on the water! Now that it fires up we can work on the damages on the hull. Stay tuned!!! - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต
Hey guys, Richard here. I am sure you know but just a reminder to put the bags of packing peanuts back into the front of the boat. They prevent hull from filling with water and sinking. Could have used your structural panel bond adhesive to glue things back together as well as epoxy resin with filler specific for marine applications. Running that boat will be a blast but use your head and don’t push your limits. It takes one mistake and you could be crippled or worse. Looking good. Have fun and stay safe.
They can handle it lol.
Can they though Jerry 🤔
@@jerrywilcox9890 famous last words... Like Richard said, it only takes one simple mistake to change your life forever! And no boat in the world is EVER worth that! 🤔
@@jerrywilcox9890POMB?
Wise words from Richard. It only takes one mistake to make 180 degree turn in your life. Please use your head and treat water and speed with respect

That thing was massive lol
DANG ! look at that rat ! 13:37
I am glad your getting back to the hands on video's. This is how you got started, and this is how you grew. I enjoy these kinds of video's the best.
@anotheruser5654 BS some of their videos are just goofing around. and never touched a car. I have watched them from day one.
@@mdf1951 True, but man, let them just enjoy life a little. I mean they earned it, and they still do hands on stuff every now and then...
@@mdf1951let boys take days off and goof around. They deserve it. Everyone has to take their days off and do something different. You out all people should know that.
My father in law used to race these style boats. He still has several and is always fixing and selling them. One thing to always consider is when you lose power you lose the ability to steer. Safety first fellers. Enjoy!
Hey guys don't be afraid to ask boating community for help ie. SCREAM AND FLY lots of men and women with years of knowledge. Love this keep up the good work
Billy you are doing a beautiful repair on this boat. Yes you are fixing it correctly!!!!!
I'm not an expert on fibreglass, but I know enough to know it's not being done anywhere near close to correctly.
Ya'll definitely should put an oil relocation kit on that 👌
I would get an oil filter relocation kit and put it in an easy to get to place.
Boy I second that. Its not that hard and adapter for remote filter is fair easy.
Wrong. For one they did it wrong, And two the center tube was not supposed to come out. They beat the hell out of it until the tube was stuck to the filter.
Wrong @MichaelSmith-jv7zm
Hey guys, I love watching ur videos up here in Ontario Canada. Just had a couple suggestions
1. Put an inline sand filter on the main water line coming off the jet pump to eliminate junk getting in the cooling system.
2. Change it to closed loop cooling and add heat exchangers so the engine is running coolant not dirty lake water.
On jet boats there’s a sequence to running it on water.
Start engine
Start water
Shut off water
Shut off engine
Doing it otherwise in any other order will flood the engine with water through water jacketed exhaust since it’s an open loop cooling system!
So all the water in the oil could possibly be from someone shutting the engine off before turning the water off?
You've seen the headers right? Show me the water jackets
Ive been following you all since 46k followers and I have never seen Billys smile that big. Hes loving it and so are we.
It’s funny, when I first saw the jet boat I thought “come on guys, a jet boat?”. Now, I’m like “yay” more jet boat content!
Meanwhile 93% of us are still like “this is dumb.”
@@jo_nathan_nation6544why?
It’s nice to see how far yall have come since the old videos of rebuilding the lambo and more yall inspired me to pursue collision repair as a career in it’s entirety
That boat is like a bathtub with a tornado strapped to it.
Priceless ! 👌👌🔥👍
All the flood cars, boats, jet ski's, and snowmobiles I have purchased, I always drain all fluids, take out the spark plugs, and let the engine force out all the oil/gas/water/muck to prevent compressing anything in the crankcase that could cause catastrophic engine issues.
Haven't had a engine I couldn't recover by fogging, running transmission fluid through the engine to clean it out, and oil change flush out the engine out a couple times. This has saved me thousands of dollars doing these steps over saying "just crank it and let's see."
What is fogging ?

Man, I gotta hand it to Eleazer for all the incredible fiberglass work! Hats off to your patience!
Man, so much work to remove oil filter. Perhaps a remote oil filter relocation kit in the future? Great project ❤😊
Hey guys, Herve here. Just to let you know that watching this channel is more fun, not just that also I learn more from you guys thank you for everything. This is the right channel to watch I'm a fan 2015 till now here's where I learned English my favorite channel ❤
I certainly hope you don't have to remove the motor to change the oil filter each time. Use a remote oil filter.
I've been a fan of you guys for four years since you were in the garage at your parents' house. greetings from Puerto Rico
digging this boat build. mostly because that motor is INSANE doood
Was just watching the huracan build again ❤
Try using wax paper to help hold on the fiber glass to the boat hull. It sounds weird, but it works pretty well. Also, if put talcum powder on your arms, it will help prevent getting the fiberglass itches. When done wash up with cold water to close up your skin pores.
Great content

The carbs were probably left open to the elements and it rained in there …
Good luck with the Sanger Hydro. Don’t cut corners when repairing the hull. Have fun, be safe
Gday guys,
Remember to start with a thin strip of glass cloth, then the next wider, then the next wider again. That way each layer of cloth outer edge is able to bond to the original hull structure. You need to grind more of that edge away through the paint. The glass won’t adhere well to the painted surface.
Also if you are doing a repair like on the corner of the rear transom. You can grind it back and to remove the moisture, if there is some in the cloth, by really wetting it with acetone. The acetone will evaporate and carry away the water in the repair area. Then fix it quick with a hot brew.
Piece of cake 👌👌
Cheers from Australia 👍😃
That’s a lotta boat to handle I’m excited to see the fiberglass repairs elizar does it take immense skill for that type of repair!!
Awesome job on the fiberglass work 🎉
Coming together very well. Just watching and waiting for the launch and rooster tail. Can't wait.
12:59 I would definitely pull the drain plug and tip. That thing back with the front end up about 2 feet.if that boat was sunk or out in the rain for a while. That hull will sit crooked in the water and weigh way more than it's supposed to as well as act funny when you operate it. Been there done that, water logged, I have wrecked a few hulls . I do not know about changing the nozzle , definitely research that.
If I were in this situation, I would probably be feeding that engine Valvoline 20/50 Vr1 or equivalent. I'm pretty sure that blower motor needs some zinc.
That rat was gnarly!
Y’all really take it by the horns and dig in and just make it seem so easy. I know it takes a lot of work and time, I wouldn’t even know where to start. Awesome work n think it would be fun.
Great build guys. Mixing it up with a boat like this was a good choice. ✌🏻
You guys are amazing nocking things out. It's incredible what you can do no doubt you are the best
Epic build! Just remember to check if the trailer towing point is in good order, so it won't come off again and damage it. Now that you invested so much work into it! Keep up the good work guys ✌️
Hey guy another great project just remember these thing are no joke these boats arnt for the faint hearted the milky oil could be because they could have been running it on methenol cant wait to see it on the water dont forget your helmets👍👍👍
Put the boat motor in the Camaro 😁. And don't let the rats eat your hydrologic or electrical connections up
Nah, the Camaro is fine with the LT4.
Yeah....but that hood looks so good. I hope they finish it. Hate seeing "rescued" projects just sit again.
Great idea 👍
I see a lot of body workers and you guys are by far the best... thankful for looking at this videos
Remote oil filter option? Ya' all continue to grow in your craft and are amazing.
Guys These boats are so fast unlike cars with 4 wheels. The balanced front is tuned and if one side is heavier it will nose dive into the heavy side
Make sure the filler and packing are evenly distributed by its weight
You guys are awesome. I love Watching you guys
Cant wait to see what you guys do to this beast of a boat.
We’re gonna a rip this sucker on the lake very carefully lol

Always so impressed with your skills Eleazar!
We love watching you guys having fun with your toys. One thing to remember is to enjoy, but stay safe! Water craft speedster’s can be scary and much more dangerous because speed on water is much different than on land. It’s unpredictable.
How's it guys just watched the video. U guys are doing a great job on the boat . The motor sounds like a beast. Can't wait to see it on the water too. Cheers guys for a great video. Keep up the good work.👍💯

Good built it’s exciting like some of your old stuff👍🏻👍🏻
Nice works guys👍👍👍
Great start , y’all are good at this
Sick boat!
Solid build again
Be sure to upgrade those bags of foam peanuts by putting each crinkly bag into a stronger better bag, sealing and putting them back inside the hull. Show us at least a time lapse of fixing that trailer too. Have fun.
Wouldn't it be more effective to build a partition and fill it with expandable foam?
@@RogerM88 Ultimately, hell yes!
I just don't expect these lads to do the right thing most times until they do it the quick and easier way first. At least a minimally workable system like what the original builder used (hopefully with better bags) will see them safely through a test drive to make sure their fibreglass patches are solidly watertight. Later, they should do that front hull with a proper expanding foam job as you said.
@@RogerM88 Weight issue. The floatation must be in the nose so other adjustments should be made to keep the CG in place.
@@TodPetersen The expandable foam wouldn't add significant weight. The partition could have some sections to bolt on weights.
@@RogerM88 The added ballast weight should be a close to the transom as possible to minimize the amount required to correct the CG. This if it was correct to begin with. Ask the original builder what the target CG location was supposed to be.
Nice job on the jet boat!
When you’re done and ready to paint…It would be amazing to change the color to a metallic paint like the old days maybe a metallic blue like the C8 Corvette you just gave away. The black accents from the interior would pop for sure. 👍
Y’all Guys are bad Azz ! Love watching the channel
I love when goonzquad post
Love this build!
Can’t wait to see the paint job!
The pickle fork is never an issue loading or unloading because of the simple fact that boats float and trailer sink
I had a fiberglass jon boat that I had to redo the entire transom as my first fiberglass project. I was amazed how easy it was to work with and how good it looks when finished
awesome build after build keep them coming so entertaining
My that boat is insane😮 Can't wait to see it on the water

Lots of acetone to dry out the fiber and don’t forget to drill some small holes to inject some foam. Don’t know if you guys will wait cause I know you wanna get it in the water. Good luck, love it
Please hit up finnegan for more details on the engine and everything. Trust me it doesnt get better than that guy. Hes literally a legend in the boat/car world
Mike already gave them all kinds of tips, advice and basically told them everything about the boat. But I doubt they are smart enough to listen, if they even realize who he is.

That boat is going to be so much fun.
Excellent project for you guys since I know you love boating in all its forms. You might consider installing a remote oil filter. The location right now really sucks.
I love the boat content boys, ive done a couple boats but this is next level crazy hahah these are pretty popular over here in Australia as well
Amazing work. Fiberglass work isnt' fun but Billy is a master and is going to knock it out! Glad that motor seems to be running good. I would pull the plugs and run your camera down to take a look as well as check the plugs. Might as well do a a compression test too. Fixing the oil pressure and temp gauges are super important. You can probably get a remote filter kit so that you don't need to pull the motor to change the oil. Exciting times!
I admire you guys and want to do what you all do rebuilding wrecked cars
Time for some shop cats. That rat was huge
