Your experience getting the Wii was like mine with the Switch. I go to a private school and it was impossible to get a switch. I had gone to many stores trying to find one because I had saved up enough money. And there was a big amount of people at my school that just casually got a switch and I was ticked.
Imagine wanting to get the Switch to play Breath of the Wild, but everyone else who bought the Switch was saying how 1-2 Switch was the best game they were playing on it. That basically sums up what my experience with the Wii was like.
Now that you mention it, I had a similar experience getting a Switch like you did. The only difference is that the Switch was actually available in EVERY game store where I live but I didn't have the money. It was baffling to see all these people that got a switch, saying how awesome it was.
Honestly the wii was my childhood ( it was my first console ) so i have that console in high standars. 2006, wii sports zelda twilight princess 2007, mario galaxy super paper mario 2008, brawl mario kart wii 2009, new super mario bros wii 2010, super mario galaxy 2 my favourite dk country returns kirby's epic yarn 2011, zelda skyward sword kirby's return to dreamland
I like to call this the first part of two of the "Gray-White Era of Nintendo". The Grey-White Era of Nintendo is characterised by the company having a grey logo on a white background. This also carried into the Wii U, which comprises the second part of two of the Grey-White Era of Nintendo. We have since then quit this era, since Nintendo has gone back to their traditional White-Red logo, and with games like Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Metroid: Samus Returns, and upcoming games like Super Mario Odyssey, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, and a new Metroid Prime game, we're already seeing a huge departure from the Grey-White Era of Nintendo.
I love the Wii library! "Dead Space extraction," "House of the dead Overkill," "Mario Kart Wii," "Excitebots," "Driver Parallel lines," Super Mario Galaxy," "Bully" and so many more
The Wii had alot of good games actually.Yes it had alot of shovelware, But Ilove my Wii and my collection, It also is the Best home console for rail shooters. Good video but you can miss me on the Wii hate parade.
Saying Super Paper Mario is like previous Paper Mario games because it's better than Sticker Star and Color Splash is like saying rotten fruit is as good as fresh fruit because at least it's not covered in dirt.
About a week or so ago I picked up an original model Wii off eBay for 35 bucks. Mostly playing GameCube games, but this was a good console. Definitely going to pick up some more Wii games. I had one of these when they first came out, but other than Smash Brawl I didn't play it a whole lot because it was in the living room and my family would never get into video games, not even the casual BS that most hardcore gamers hate. So I sold it and got a PS3 instead.
I’d definitely agree for the Wii. Mario Kart Wii, Brawl, DKCR, City Folk, Radiant Dawn, Super Paper Mario, Skyward Sword... a lot of the games for this system are just sooooo polarizing within their respective series.
I always lovedddd skyward sword. I was such a hardcore Nintendo fan that I bought all of those casual audience games, and the A TIER SHIT. But I always loveeeeeeed skyward sword and I still do to this very day.
Yea I agree it’s like, I don’t care if skyward sword was about of the post 2008 scandal, bcuz it’s still one of my favorite games of all time! Always has been and I hope it always will be! God bless Nintendo for putting out this game!
Ive been a fan of nintendo my whole life and i was really excited when my friends suddenly knew who they were and were buying wiis. .. but they only owned wii sports >:L
There was something about Wii Sports that made it as addictive as crack when it came out. I felt like they just kept trying to recreate it after launch, but every single one they made after was just terrible. Wii Sports is a game that I still don't understand today. It's not something I'd ever go back and play again, but at the time I actually had a ton of fun with it. It got me to a buy a Wii earlier than I thought. Usually I just wait for a Mario Kart game because then I know there's 1 quality entry on the system. But yeah I agree, growing up with the Gamecube, there just felt like nothing past 2008 on the Wii that was worthwhile.
reason ehh, he showed a lot of bias towards to N64. He dismisses amazing games that came out after 2008. He was very biased throughout the whole video. I respect his opinion, but sometimes it really got annoying.
DKC Returns is a really great game. The "gray DK mode" doesn't scratch it a bit. Almost no one uses that thing. Also, Galaxy 2 is indeed different from 1. At least for me. It's mechanically unique and more inventive in its level design. The atmosphere is also toned down. It's a different experience.
I still own my Wii. At the time before I got it my sister moved out of the house. Taking our GameCube with her. I still had my own GameCube games laying about. Not wanting to sell my games or go out and buy another GameCube. I decided to get a Wii due to the fact that not only was it the newest Nintendo console, but more importantly it was backwards compatible. I loved growing up playing the GameCube. Majority of my time with my Wii, it always had memory cards and a GC controller plugged in. Eventually I slowly picked up more Wii games. Been collecting Wii games to this day. Also put on a nice Decalgirl skin to keep it looking nice and put the Homebrew channel on mine. Hello emulators!
My favorite game on the Wii by far was Xenoblade Chronicles - and that came out at about the same time as Skyward Sword, 2011 Xenoblade Chronicles is now considered a classic - THE iconic new JRPG of the Wii I guess it counts as a 3rd party game though rather than Nintendo - sure, they own Monolith Soft and the Xenoblade franchise NOW, but not back then
I waited til the Wii U was still a current console to get a couple of Wiis that were already modded with HDs with lots of GC and Wii games and emulators so I don't feel like it's a bad console. I had a GC when it came out and loved it. It was an awesome party console and to have a couple of Wiis with most of the GC library is so awesome because it has so many awesome games. Even the Wii has a great library of stellar games that will keep me busy for a long time. Yeah it had a ton of shovelware games, but if you ignore those it still has a pretty impressive library.
Oh no, it's good for what it's worth, but during the time of it's release, it was kind of more of the same and I was a bit disappointed with the direction that Nintendo was taking during the time.
I think the wii's problem was that Nintendo litteraly changed their plans because of the gamecube's failure similar with the wii u at least we still see old nintnedo on the switch but its small probably because Iwata isnt here anymore sadly he was a great video game developper, an okay video game developper cause it was his fault if the wii u was lackluster along with Reggie but he was most of all a wonderful gamer and someone who gave us nostalgia even though destroying Nintendo's old reputation with his beliefs
What I don't get is that it's totally possible to make challenging games that both kids and adult will enjoy. I grew up with SMW and it took me some years to complete it, but it was perfect because games were so expensive that you wanted to spend as much time as possible on a game. I don't get why games need to be stupidly easy because kids ain't stupid, they need challenging games with a good learning curve. That's why some SNES games were amazing, they were challenging with a good learning curve (Mario RPG, SMW, A link to the past, Super Mario Kart, DKC, etc...)
Gotta say I've had a completely different experience with the Wii, but maybe it is because I got it on 2017 with every game at my disposal. Nintendo's best as far as whst I've played: Mario Galaxy, Both Wii Sports games, DKR, Kirby's Return to Dreamland, Mario Kart and Brawl (which I love o so much) and Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn, which for many is the best Fire Emblem Game. There are also some awesome third parties like Tatsunoko vs Capcom, Madworld and the No More Heroes games, the best version of Resident Evil 4 thanks to the pointer, Dead Space Extraction (which really surprised me because I was never into rail shooters. But this game, I just couldn't get myself to put it down). That's what I've played so far. If anything, I think the Wii may have a library almost as good as any PS system, but with the difference tjat in this case it was the shovelware that got marketed the most, making the good games more of an obscure thing and harder to find.
No lie, I'm mad at you, everything you stated....was right and I felt the same way and Everytime I'd tell anyone, they'd say I hate Nintendo. It's like no, they were a much better company before the wii
I couldn’t do KirbyEpicYarn, it was just SO cutesy, it made other Kirby games seem like “The Adventures of the Endless Hunger in: The Raining Super Death Over All Mankind starting with YOU Little Boy in Your Room!”
The Wii was an interesting system, but Nintendo ultimately screwed it up like you said. It might have been a smashing success, but it was a one time lighting in a bottle instance. Wii U proved that. I had a Wii when it came out and I had some games that I loved playing on it. But by 2010 I was done with it. Sold it and my games to get a PS3. I did buy a used Wii a while back to play some old games because I was nostalgic. But I was mainly nostalgic for Gamecube games and figured I'd get a couple wii games.
Working on a pretty lengthy video. There's been a huge delay, mostly because I ended up dropping a video in October, which ended up wasting around a month. This next video I'm working on is also around 2 times longer than I anticipated and the holidays killed a lot of my free time. So, the timing and the circumstances really kind of screwed everything. I'm planning on having it out sometime by the end of January, but honestly, first week of February is a bit more realistic.
let's see, wii overall is all about capturing casual people more than hardcore gamers. Gamecube capture hardcore gamers but semi good for casual games as well in the balance. there are times that each console got reputation of how many casual compare to hardcore along with that console stand out for. Failure console like LaserActive don't get to last long.
Twilight Princess is better on GameCube. Also it wasn't a next gen game on release, it was just pure GameCube beef. The Wii port was a marketing plot and technical joke.
While that's true, I think Nintendo would consider the Wii version to be the best one. If Nintendo were huge dicks, they could have just made it exclusive to the Wii, but since it was marketed to be on the Gamecube, they put it out to not piss off fans who bought the Gamecube for it. It's the same situation with Breath of the Wild as well.
@@Jdudec367 well it's a GameCube game, made for the GameCube controller. The Wii port shoved in awkward motion controls as a marketing plot. GameCube video signal with component cables, being superior to the Wii's, also provided better graphics if you had the hardware.
@@Jdudec367 it’s kind of a trade off. I personally prefer the Wii version because I feel like I lose less, but not everyone wants to waggle the Wii remote just to do a basic sword swing.

Got to agree that Wii was kinda dissapointing. I grew up with Nintendo 64 and Gamecube for so many years in my childhood. I also had a Ps2 to have like more modern and teenage games, but I spend most my time playing on Nintendos more often even tho I finished my games so many time, AKA Paper Mario, MarioKart, Melee, Mario Party, Star fox, Kirby Air ride. It didn't even bothering me of not having a Wii for a long time. When I finaly had a Wii console from my friend who was selling it with a few games, I didn't even had a lot of good quality time with it. Everything felt different with every game that I played and loved from the other consoles. The only game that I played a lot was Mario Strickers Charged with friends. Won't talk about Super Paper Mario because gosh you describe my thought about this game so well! P.s. I don't care if you take your time for your videos, just continue your work. We love it!
Resident Evil 4 on the Wii was the best version. The only bad thing I can say about that port is that the motion controls made the game a little too easy compared to the difficulty when using a standard controller.
I am a average nintendo fan only cause of the limitation of money and the chose my older brothers make on the next big console jump it's pretty sad witnessing great games such as super mario galaxy a decade later and even with the idea of me being the only person who even cares about the next AAA nintendo game in my family. I have to live upon the struggle of spending all my savings on consoles / games even tho I only am allowed to get 20$ every 3 weeks. After all of that you would think I could then get the console but no! I have to then beg my rude and annoying brother to purchase it online with the exception that I'm offering him the right amount needed. Maybe I'm not alone, but God is it hard to be a Nintendo fan in my position. Did I also mention that my parents don't even respect that you can't get money scammed but only products.😩 I honestly can't wait till I get a job. *Someone please help me get a fricken nintendo switch I'm dying hearing youtubers brag about how fun the experience is.*
Super Paper Mario was amazing. It had plenty of what made the first two great and honestly the gameplay was still really fun and well thought out. There are some fans who didn't like Galaxy for not being open world like the first two as well but I think it's amazing despite its differences as well. I don't think the comparison is very good since Super Mario Galaxy is both very different from Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine. Like that game though Super Paper Mario is also very similar to the first two games despite its differences so honestly Super Paper Mario is just as much a mainline Paper Mario game as Super Mario Galaxy is. It's still an RPG game it just lacks a turn based battle systems. I don't think its differences outweight its core nature of being a Paper Mario game and it feels fun, unique, and fresh for what it is. I think your stance on that game is overly harsh and also not very reasonable given the only thing missing is the turn based battle system. But, that's not what made it Paper Mario. That's a very fun gameplay aspect but it's not needed for every installment. For Super which was going to just be a one time deviation it does a good job blending RPG and platforming elements together and honestly had really fun platforming and character gameplay, great level design (for the most part), intuitive and fun puzzle solving with the pixels, and a storyline and cast of characters that are very endearing and emotionally charged. I think it very much deserves to be considered a true Paper Mario game as much as the first two and I never had a problem with it being different in gameplay because everything felt like it belonged to the same series. You don't need the turn based battle system for it to be a good Paper Mario RPG game, and the title Super Paper Mario definitely lets you know it's going to be a hybrid between traditional and role playing Mario games.
I’ve always thought that Super Paper Mario felt like a cheap flash game. The art style is very simplistic and jagged, unlike the older games’ art styles which felt a lot more in line with the Mario universe and felt perfect for the direction the games took. The enemies felt like generic boring ass flash game enemies and the progression system wasn’t good either. I think if they wanted to make a blend of RPG and platforming, they could’ve tried a lot harder. As an RPG, there’s essentially nothing there. It’s a ton of mindlessly stomping on enemies and shaking the Wii remote to change a number you have no control over. And the platforming felt so cheap, it’s hard to believe I was playing a Mario game. The level design isn’t anywhere near good in my eyes; it’s a ton of bland, labyrinthine hallways devoid of interesting content. It’s all cookie cutter, it’s super boring, and it’s not fun to go through. Nothing interesting ever happens. And if it does, it’s usually for the worse. People tend to say that Super is still really good because of the plot, but idk. I feel like if they wanted me to believe that, they’d have to give me a game that actually supports its story through the gameplay substantially. I’m playing a video game, after all; I want the gameplay to be enjoyable.
Ahh I get it, you don’t care for RETRO & Nostalgia. Even tho I’m more than a casual gamer, I’m 34, so I love that shit. I love it with Mario, Sonic, MegaMan, Ratchet&Clank, DKC, etc, BUT I’m also a guy who’s gotten every star in every 3D Mario title ever. I think you’re missing out man, fuckin Mario Galaxy 2? That’s just a flat out Masterpiece, and once again, a direct sequel made waiting for the next console & its Mario game!
Totally agree with your Wii review here. The previous 2 consoles were incredible and so I got a Wii to play Twilight Princess and eventually borrowed Brawl and Prime 3. After that I just gave up. All the B tier games were gimmicky as heck and so sadly never played Galaxy. Thank God for Switch
Pikmin games for each new Nintendo home console is expected but it should be expected to wait a bit. Now that Pikmin 4 is the most successful, Pikmin 5 on the switch 2 is most likely in the cards
Surprised Sin & Punishment was left out of the video. Even with the sales not being up to Nintendo's expectations it sounded like something that would be up in your alley. Wouldn't really consider it a third party game though.
Watch as a lot of Super Paper Mario fans get so defensive just because someone criticized the game. (I hate doing this because bait comments are bad) but in this case it's true. And they'll use "It's underrated" as an excuse to defend it, even though the game is barely hated on nowadays. Aside from that I enjoyed this video, while I don't share all the same thoughts I can agree that most of these games were too barebones or gimmicky for their own good. I always get a laugh at your sense of humor, it's just really entertaining to watch and as a result I have fun watching your content. I'd love to see a Wii U video from you and how it basically played off the weaker parts of the Wii.
Someone just already came and said this ""*I'd rather have Nintendo come up with something new rather than retread old ground.*" moments earlier "*I hate Super Paper Mario because its not like the older games!!1!!11*" ok" Seriously, these people are too annoying and obnoxious.
I've come to the realization that most Super Paper Mario fans didn't grow up with the first two games in the series. They just don't have the same kind of attachment as earlier fans in the series, so the drastic shift in game play doesn't sour their opinions.
Actually most of them are fans of the first two games or did grow up playing them, they just inflate the story as a masterpiece simply because it had more story than any games. Completely disregarding what makes a game a game in the first place. Also Super Paper Mario has many problems fans don't even see because the story is all they care able. It's even more loved than 64 because of the story. I like Super don't get me wrong, but it's overrated.
I grew up with the first two and I think Super is great for its gameplay and its story. I don't agree with the positions expressed in this video as I've never been bothered by them switching up the gameplay. It was still genuinely good despite being different and that's not because of the story that I'm saying that.

Playing Gamecube, N64, and SNES games.
Honestly the wii was my childhood ( it was my first console ) so i have that console in high standars.
2006, wii sports zelda twilight princess
2007, mario galaxy super paper mario
2008, brawl mario kart wii
2009, new super mario bros wii
2010, super mario galaxy 2 my favourite dk country returns kirby's epic yarn
2011, zelda skyward sword kirby's return to dreamland
Agreed! All of those games that u mentioned are fucking masterpieces! The Gray White Era is long the fuck gone!!! Hallelujah!
I love the Wii library! "Dead Space extraction," "House of the dead Overkill," "Mario Kart Wii," "Excitebots," "Driver Parallel lines," Super Mario Galaxy," "Bully" and so many more
My man back at it again with my the best vids on TH-cam
Furrealz thi
Dawg I can’t wait till your nintendrone on the Switch
Man, dude, you just...you just get it.
Never a dull moment watching this stuff.
Keep preaching that true shit 👌🏻
The Wii had alot of good games actually.Yes it had alot of shovelware, But Ilove my Wii and my collection, It also is the Best home console for rail shooters. Good video but you can miss me on the Wii hate parade.
And Twilight Princess is 100% GameCube actually. It was ported to the Wii sort of last minute
Cant wait for a WiiU Nintendrone.Love this channel so much.
Dude! The "Everything is Terrible" transition had me dying. that e3 moment still haunts me
Saying Super Paper Mario is like previous Paper Mario games because it's better than Sticker Star and Color Splash is like saying rotten fruit is as good as fresh fruit because at least it's not covered in dirt.
So I sold it and got a PS3 instead.
when i read this my mind told me you said 35 vbucks
Never seen anyone pop off so hard over Barrel Blast.
The Wii and Wii U are the definition of polarizing consoles.
I’d definitely agree for the Wii. Mario Kart Wii, Brawl, DKCR, City Folk, Radiant Dawn, Super Paper Mario, Skyward Sword... a lot of the games for this system are just sooooo polarizing within their respective series.
That comment about animal crossing being niche hasn't aged very well
I hate how true that F-Zero thing is :
I go back every couple of moths to binge your videos its so entertaining it never gets old
The Wii is my favorite console and the main one I play still. I have a switch lite too.
It’s so odd to think that Animal Crossing used to be “obscure”
I always lovedddd skyward sword. I was such a hardcore Nintendo fan that I bought all of those casual audience games, and the A TIER SHIT. But I always loveeeeeeed skyward sword and I still do to this very day.
Yea I agree it’s like, I don’t care if skyward sword was about of the post 2008 scandal, bcuz it’s still one of my favorite games of all time! Always has been and I hope it always will be! God bless Nintendo for putting out this game!
This was actually a really good video, great job!
The wii was the first console I ever owned, so maybe this is why I have some nostalgic connection to it.
Did he say numchuk
Ban Anime And Fortnite
The sword fighting was so good
you saying the Wii is bad is offensive to my kind.
Compared to previous consoles it's pretty damn mediocre
reason ehh, he showed a lot of bias towards to N64.
A DVD explaining how to play SMG2 FRIKIN MASTERPIECE???? I was 9 year old when i played Galaxy 2 and i didn't need a stupid DVD
I fucking love this. It's like a helium-filled Gilbert Gottfried raging about video games lol.
I miss my Wii
My favorite game on the Wii by far was Xenoblade Chronicles - and that came out at about the same time as Skyward Sword, 2011
Xenoblade Chronicles is now considered a classic - THE iconic new JRPG of the Wii
I guess it counts as a 3rd party game though rather than Nintendo - sure, they own Monolith Soft and the Xenoblade franchise NOW, but not back then
Your channel is super underrated! I LOVE IT!!! :)
Yeah it had a ton of shovelware games, but if you ignore those it still has a pretty impressive library.
okay but the 4 fucking mario sports games were pretty good (mainly super sluggers)
2:06 you forgot to mention that we will also not receive a mother/earthbound game
Ok wii sports resort was actually good imo. Yes it was casual trash but the minigames were enjoyable.
Oh no, it's good for what it's worth, but during the time of it's release, it was kind of more of the same and I was a bit disappointed with the direction that Nintendo was taking during the time.
3:21 "The Revolution" Ooooh, I see what you did there.
Uh... as a Nintendo console owner...
I’ve never played a Zelda game in my life. THE TRINITY IS A LIEEEEE
Yes another channel that posts videos longer than 30 minutes guess Ill have to sub
Can't wait for the WII: U Version
Basically hardcore gamers exposed to the 64 and GameCube hated the wii but I was born in 2002 and it was my first console and I enjoyed it
I don't think "exposed" is a word you should have used in that sentence.
My prayers have been answered.
Michael The motorcycle ughugughhug
What I don't get is that it's totally possible to make challenging games that both kids and adult will enjoy. I grew up with SMW and it took me some years to complete it, but it was perfect because games were so expensive that you wanted to spend as much time as possible on a game. I don't get why games need to be stupidly easy because kids ain't stupid, they need challenging games with a good learning curve. That's why some SNES games were amazing, they were challenging with a good learning curve (Mario RPG, SMW, A link to the past, Super Mario Kart, DKC, etc...)
Bro Twilight Princess on Wii was booty sweat compared to the Gamecube version.
I loved The Last Story on the Wii. Very underated game
I do really like the content you make. You should keep using the same formula(s) because I don't think I'll be tired of it/them.
On the Wii I literally only played super sash bros. brawl...
It was my favorite game.
I loved SPM but I can still agree the first two RPGs were better even if the first one's pretty lacking in story content.
The funny this is that we got sequels to literally everything you mentioned might not get a sequel. It just takes a really, really long time.
Where are you? You are honestly one of the best video game “reviewers” on this website. No rush, cause you probably have a life.
The best wii games after 08 would dkc returns and mg2 and maybe skyward Sword
And xenoblade chronicles
let's see, wii overall is all about capturing casual people more than hardcore gamers.
Gamecube capture hardcore gamers but semi good for casual games as well in the balance.
there are times that each console got reputation of how many casual compare to hardcore along with that console stand out for. Failure console like LaserActive don't get to last long.
You are so funny man,I love your videos 😂
Did you know: Call of duty world at war was on the Wii.
I bet if the clone wars game from 2002 have a wii port, it'd be more relevant nowadays
Hey man, I was wondering if you'd make a Wii U Nintendrone sometime in the future, no rush since you do work hard on editing your videos! ;P
N64 was successful....
It's the same situation with Breath of the Wild as well.
how was the gamecube version better?
@@Jdudec367 well it's a GameCube game, made for the GameCube controller. The Wii port shoved in awkward motion controls as a marketing plot. GameCube video signal with component cables, being superior to the Wii's, also provided better graphics if you had the hardware.
@@Ficehdulah how did the gamecube have better graphics ? from what I hear the motion controls weren't bad. the wii also has compenent cables anyways
@@Jdudec367 it’s kind of a trade off. I personally prefer the Wii version because I feel like I lose less, but not everyone wants to waggle the Wii remote just to do a basic sword swing.
How does Jake Paul have more subscribers than this guy?
glad to know someone shares my brawl opinion, best in the series.
How about now with Ultimate? Now that Pyra is in?
@@ThomastheDankEngine8900 1. holy fuck this comment was old, cool to see a response, and 2. fuck yeah ultimates the best now that is has a xenoblade 2 rep are you kidding me no contest.
@@epicsena you liked Brawl the most before Ultimate, and you’re a Xenoblade Chronicles 2 fan?
I like your taste in gaming. We agree, and I’m sure our taste overall is similar.
@@ThomastheDankEngine8900 hell yeah
@@epicsena I gotta ask, are you fed up with Nintendo’s attitude this gen? Do you hate NSO and the Extortion Pack as much as me lol?
Don't know what a WeeFone is but is sounds interesting.
I loved the Wii
Remember when they released another Paper Mario game for the Wii, is it good, is it bad, I don't know its Paper Mario ;)
Damn, you were really unfair with dkcr.
THIS GUy IS AMAZING WTF TH-cam
We love it!
MKWii is still my favorite 🤷♂️
Twighlight Princess on Wii
The Wii is the best console of all time
I had no idea the top part of the Wii opens up lol, had it since release too.
I've forgotten that it closed, because I've broken the top off by playing too many Gamecube games
Good to see you again man. I agree completely with everything you have said here, their heart is not in it any more.
Resident Evil 4 on the Wii was the best version. The only bad thing I can say about that port is that the motion controls made the game a little too easy compared to the difficulty when using a standard controller.
>ok, like, ok mate
Such a good video lol
Someone just already came and said this
""*I'd rather have Nintendo come up with something new rather than retread old ground.*"
moments earlier
"*I hate Super Paper Mario because its not like the older games!!1!!11*"
ok"
Seriously, these people are too annoying and obnoxious.
I've come to the realization that most Super Paper Mario fans didn't grow up with the first two games in the series. They just don't have the same kind of attachment as earlier fans in the series, so the drastic shift in game play doesn't sour their opinions.
Same thing for most Sticker Star and Color Splash fans...
