You don't need 300 miles for city car. If they could offer that for 15, 16k ok but it is better to offer lower price in this market segment. I have small ev with wltp range of 230 km and charging every 5,6 days

A nice car. But it would be even nicer if it had swappable batteries. As you know, fast charging depletes batteries and Seagull is no exception. A second hand Seagull with around 80 to 100 k on the odometer would be almost worthless.

It needs to be on sale for the lowest price possible, with good finance packages, to encourage both EV take up, taking huge SUV's off the road and improve road safety. It's efficiency will save energy, there's no need for 0-60 times less than 3 seconds, 0-20 in that time is more than adequate. If it were available sub £120 a month, with a 10 year 120,000 mile battery warranty I think most people would be seriously considering one as their next car.

At just under $12,000 thats awesome. American EVs buyers tend to follow the 10% to 80% charging curve. 30% to 80% in 30 minutes seems to be a 50-100 KWH charging speed range. If its at a true 250 mile range, i think many Americans would be willing to buy at $12,000

There are usually no empty spots in a given market when a great transformational moment arrives. With traditional car makers quickly abandoning the smaller car industry where margins are lower, whom the heck do you think will occupy that place? The ones whom can naturally to make those margins to appear once they have the affordable workforce plus the best access to the affordable building materials: China! The Chinese will to eat the smaller car segment in a nutshell. BYD hasn't been for now a price oriented trademark here in Europe. It won't either way to be with the Seagul, despite the hipe. If they try to send this car to here where I live, they'll only to offer it with the 38Kw "higher" battery, and of course, all the requested from EU regulations equipment which may not be part of the basic Asian offering. That said, and considering my own living market, Portugal, VAT, EU regulations management, importer and maintenance infrastructure, marketing and other small requirements, all indicates that this car won't be available far below the EUR 20k mark point. That would to make it to be the cheapest EV we could afford here, little bit below the EUR 23k Dacia Spring EV... Affordable? Yes, to an extent, considering what this car offers far more equipment wise than the Dacia Spring... But far from a cheap car!... Some 4 years ago, it was quite easy to purchase a relatively good gas car at EUR 20k... Not anymore. You'll purchase a 4 years old car now ABOVE its original net price in some circumstances... Times are changing...

Streets here in Jordan 🇯🇴 can be sometimes steep, and also there are a few roads that could easily flatten your tires (seagull), because of the potholes (that foam pump should do the work 💯 or else you’ll be waiting for a miracle in a nowhere 😅
