Small - but .... - BYD Seagull

I suppose I should simply be grateful that there's finally a fun-to-drive EV in this segment, but instead I can't get this one thought out of my head: BYD Seagull GTI. A slightly more powerful front motor, upgraded suspension and brakes, better tires. Now that that would be an incredible amount of fun. BYD get on it!

For reference: In the U.S., my 1966 Fiat 600, one of the bottom line cars of the 60s had a cost of $1,400, equivalent to $13,000 today. And that was a car with NO Options LOL. No seat belts, airbags, infotainment, power anything, and seats equivalent to lawn chairs. When is America going to stop protecting big buck, gas guzzling monsters, and let us have cars we can afford :)
