- Take a tour of this super smart camper van with tons of great ideas! We first saw this Van Life Mtl campervan at the El Campo meetup in Quebec 2018, and we loved all the features they fit into the space while still keeping it spacious and comfortable.

In this van, there's a toilet, shower, induction cooktop, solar power system, fridge, running water, swivel seat & extra seating with seatbelts, loads of storage, a heater, not one but two roof vents, and more! Definitely take a peek inside this gorgeous campervan conversion by Van Life Mtl.
This van is insulated with a combination of spray foam, Roxul, and reflectix. It's a 2018 Dodge Promaster, 159" wheelbase, and it's approx. 19 feet long.
To gain extra floor space, they have the bed set up widthwise which gives quite a lot of room to create a longer kitchen, and just more hangout space.
They also have a swivel table from Lagun to create an easy dining area as well.

Karen Wigglesworth Yes can we please know how much this build was? And what options are available? I know a basic Promaster 159” wheel base runs $30-$35k but for the build? This van is one of the few I’ve seen that truly looks to have nearly everything I’d want...I would just add a 35” by 45” ceiling window above the bed.
Canadian Company? Definitely not 4 season. Canadian climate in winter is not conducive to showering outside.

Exploring Alternatives Hi, on your next video's could you mention the lenght of the bed in both metric systems please? maybe more measurements would be practical for many viewers? Cost etc

The lines in the wood on the roof really makes it seem bigger than it is, enticing you in as well.

I noticed that too... not so much a mere detail - I think it gives a feel of perspective and length and order to the whole interior. It's a key to why the interior looks/feels so great. Nice observation.
I find the comments absolutely comical. Of course you knew you would get the comment, "a toilet in the kitchen!?" People - this is a van.You could put it in the garage space, but then how would you get to it in the middle of the night? Or maybe under the bed, but it's all so close to the kitchen because - it's a van.
I was thinking the same thing. But van life isn't for the squeamish lol.

I dont see any anybody would get a RV bigger than a class B unless you have multiple Kids.
@@batissta44 as soon as the last fledges we're taking our pup and hitting the road. Planning now. Doing a self build van. Can't wait. Having a "normal" life is suffocating and highly inefficient. Tired of getting ripped off with taxes and utilities. Every dime going to them and not much to show for it. Eventually will probably buy land once we find out where we want to settle. Definitely somewhere without winters like here!😀

I really like this van conversion alot. You did a great job. You have just about everything that fits. It would be nice to have a shower curtain between the back doors for more privacy.

The beauty of a van is that if you don't like the weather, you move you house somewhere nicer.

Many van Dwellers join a national Gym and shower there. In the states, we have Planet fitness $20 per month membership. Two birds one stone.

Really nice! I think the only change I'd make, is putting a shower curtain rod against the outside of the rear, privacy drapes, to protect the electronics (or line the rear of them in something that'd deflect water), and an additional collapsible shower curtain rod (like found in many campers) that expands out between the two rear doors, for showering privacy.
Great ideas as long as there are no flies or mosquitos. A lot of times you need to keep your van closed up. It's funny that all these "styler's always show their vans wide open. We use a pop up shower tent and a folding dog pool to catch the water when you don't want the mud in camp.
I saw someone had installed netting screen for glass slider doors that fit almost perfectly to the rear van opening
one of the best tours ive seen. I really dont like it when I cant see every angle or the tour guide talks for 3/4ths of the video, not really my style.

Suggestion for those who live in a van with a dog:
The area under the bed, which you can access from opening the back, would be great for a dog. There is a lot of ventilation, and a doggy door to lead back out to the front of the van.
This home is BEAUTIFUL!!! I absolutely ❤ it. Can't wait to live the van life!!! Not for everyone, but definitely for those who don't need much to be happy and just want a simplified beautiful life!

I watch videos like this to get an idea of how I’m going to do my build. I love this spacious floor plan. I would do without the seat and table and put my shower,toilet there.since it’ll be just me probably go with a full bed for even more space .
