Then you have not seen too many builds. There are many prototypes to pick from. This is a good one, but there are so many more that are as creative as this one, and some mods that will blow your mind. Don't fix on any one as a total package. Absorb ideas from each that will work for you so that you have a unique solution too.

You guys have the best van build Ive ever seen....you have packed in everything you need...plus a shower, “game room” (chess set) and practically a walk in closet; compared to other vans, and then you top it off with a “guest room”...lol. You have used your space better than people in NY city make use of their small apartments. Love it!!!!

HANDS DOWN, the best I've seen and with so many of the same ideas and details I have in my design plan, that it's hair raising... I can’t tell you how many conversion videos I’ve seen where people say “oh I go to the gym” “get a shovel & go in the woods” “I pee in a cup”, I shower at the truck stop”. Your van has truly shown everyone you can have it all. Including a safe space when nature calls. Bravo.

This is definitely one of the best van builts I have ever seen. Beautifully designed floorplan, great use of space, and lovely soft decor. My favourite aspects are the foam brick wall with the swivel TV, the hanging closet, and the fold out bed. Just incredible!

Closet was genius, by the way! I can see a woman's hand at work here, well done! Very nice elements all the way. Be sure to give your dog fish oil (Icelandic Pure Sardine Anchovy oil $26 for 33 oz). Do not use Salmon or Mackerel fish oil for your dog. Reduces shedding and keeps coat and organs incl eyes healthy.

Thank you! Love you home. The shower is awesome. And I’m really interested in that closet. The brick wall and the hammock really everything is beautiful and amazing. You guys are super smart! My husband and I are older. I’m retired. Had to retire early due to my health but my husband is getting closer to his retirement age. So he has decided to return to school and in about a year he will be working for himself. We hope to have a cool van like yours so we can travel some to his out of town jobs. It will be more like semi retirement for him. Can’t wait. And so happy he is making this career change. He’s been a journeyman electrician for nearly 30 yrs. it’s not easy to change things when you are older. I think it’s just so awesome he is willing to do it so the last decade of his working years will be a time of exploration for us. We will travel with our dogs. That is INCREDIBLE! How fun and exciting for you guys! Honestly it has been pretty smooth traveling with Sebastian. Flexibility is key, and making the van comfortable for them. Also to not worry about mess because you will sweep a lot haha

A young couple that loves their van home. The idea of shower and toilet is great, simple in arranging. Fantastic usage of space for those three functional elements of your van home a) shower, b) toilet 3. storage.

Nice design. Fortunately, no unnecessary luxury item, but everything is agreeable. Furthermor, some techical items are from the top solutions. Low usage of water for bathing. Congratulations. You love your van. After DIY, you are more binded couple, hopfuly a married one. If not so, your cooperation in making and living in van, shows that you may be a married couple for ever. Happily...

This is an incredible van build! It is beautiful and functional! I love the shower and toilet! The closets are fantastic! I agree with some of the other viewers that y'all should design vans. (I don't know how y'all live without AC though!). Y'all are also so cute together! Loved the outtakes at the end!

Wando Tales I liked how you did the stand up shower, with the toilet but how it all packs away and it’s easy to open up and pack it up and you have a tonne of bench space which makes it look more open, the mini wardrobe is great too and the tv and the full length mirror.Basically I love the whole thing and that you’ve been able to incorporate most things you essentially need in a van even a spare bed (the hammock) 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Love that you access the under sink water from the outside! What a simple yet completely wonderful idea. I've been toting my 7 gallon water jugs into the van and around the cupboard door to put it under the sink. No more! I'm remodeling and putting the door on the outside for much easier access. Thanks for the wonderful tour and great ideas.

I already like the walk through look without even having seeing much yet. And at the end, it's one of my most favourite. I could sacrifice the makeshift bathroom for that wardrobe!! I could also extend the bathroom and make it permanent by extending it and using that countertop space for a larger bathroom. Yes I'll sacrifice countertop for bathroom. That's only thing I'll change. Really innovative!

Stop the video at precisely 16:49 and notice the holes your wiring passes through need rubber or plastic grommets to protect the wire from damage due to road vibrations. A little spray foam or tape all around the wires might do the trick.
!! at 16:50. easy short term fix is to cut a rubber water hose (dry :-), or anything plastic, and tape it to your wires (grouped or individual). Easy hardware store fix is to buy anti short bushings and tape them to your wires. The appropriate fix is to disconnect the wires and install strain relief connectors to the box. Personally, I'd go with the easy way and monitor it when doing regular maintenance. But, I should probably say seek professional advice;-). BTW I think you did a great job at planning and building your van. A lot of really nice ideas and details, excellent use of space. Safe travels. Mtl Qc

Hahaha you know it’s never been an issue for us. I guess Hannelyn is too short and Henry is too tall, however Christian is constantly running into it. Whoops! But we also use the back doors a lot too so that helps.
