John has the perfect set-up for the conditions. Four season steel road bike with Pirelli Cinturato tyres. If properly set up tubeless, he'll experience few if any issues with grip or punctures. Only fail is that the bike will take full mudguards, and he's running an ass saver. I've got a Fairlight Strael and have to say it's perfect for UK riding. Only notice the weight on more testing climbs, but I managed Ventoux on it in September.
Johns purple helmet , absolute classic.
Love the Fairlight Jon steels great ❤Pete 🚴🏻👍
02:26 you were literally outside John Thaws house in ‘Goodnight Mr Tom’
It’s on the market for £750k, not bad for a piece of TV history!
I tried that tyre glider for the first time a few weeks ago. It's gone in the 'to be never used again' pile. 🤣
"Is this your winter bike?" 😂 😂 quality!
😂😂 #sorryjon
I see so many people fixing a flat with the bike inverted. There is no reason to do that and with hydraulic disk brakes, it only increases the risk of an air bubble moving to the caliper (though rare, if properly filled). Save your saddle and hoods and just lay the bike on its non-drive side. The key to getting the tire on is sinking the bead into the rim bed and holding it there until the bead is seated on the contralateral side. No tools should be necessary.
Oh in an ideal world. Not all tyres / wheel combos are that simple
Another great video Amy lovely to see Nigel well funny guy him 😆😆,he bombs on abit santini john, your videos definitely help anyone who is feeling down so well done to u n Kyle, stay safe and happy
Thanks!! Glad you enjoyed the video 🙌
John is such a great bloke and his Fairlight is terrific. Thank you for the video.
Thanks for watching!
I know Jon as he supplies our club's kit from Santini I can confirm he's a great guy.
Ah love your videos, turned a bad day into a smiling one for me lol . Jon’s ace and Kyle s deffo the puncture King 🤴😂
Ahh that’s great to hear! ☺️ keep smiling 🙌
Amy - is there a cafe stop? Amy there is a cafe stop. Amy - hopefully there is a cafe stop... Amy's second love from cycling - Cafes 😄 - Love your post ... great to watch as its not just all about cycling.
Cafes are the best 😍🙌
Santini John is such a nice fella
He’s the best 🙌
Comedy gold! Amy we love you...!
Great episode, looks like a lively area for riding🚴🏼♀️💨🚴🏼♂️💨
Grunt ! Arghhhhh Geez
- "Push Amy ! Push !
Arghhhhh Geez Grunt !
- "C'mon Amy, you've got this
Push ! Push ! "
Thought I'd mistakenly clicked on a Midwifery training vlog 😁
Virtual hug to Chester 🤍

I remember that Sunday. Weather was Ok and sunny in Worcestershire after the early mist lifted.
Totally frustrated trying to get a tire back on the rim. UNTIL I found “David Arthur - Just Ride Bikes” and his video with Jim The Bike Guy “HOW TO remove & change an inner tube the right way: Tips from a Professional Bike Mechanic #2” on TH-cam. Start opposite the valve and work towards the valve, not 90 degrees away from valve etc. Saved my sanity. :)
Half of my bikes are tubeless but I always ride with a spare tube anyway. 👍 By the way, your channel got me riding bikes again.
Another Panaracer puncture? Respect to Santini Jon for insisting on the stopping for Remembrance Sunday. He had the best bike as well 😉
I used to watch "Vicar of Dibbley" on here BBC America as well. The Brit Coms are definitely tops for me...Ha! Pjw
dunno if you did this, but when it comes time to get that last little bit, i usually go round on the side you're trying to get on & put IT into the center as well. otherwise that last few inches takes a few million pounds of force.
Purple helmet 😮
Kyle, what was that pump you were using?
The Hope rotors on John's bike looks sick!
when you were in wattlington the house behind you all was were they filmed goodnight mr tom film and the church was the vicar of dibley
Hi guys, you might want to try Vittoria RideArmor if you "tire" of the Panaracers
Race tyres do roll nice but they don't have much protection, a heavier tyre means you have to put in more effort.
Kyle gets a lot of punctures and Amy gets hardly any! 😂He needs some more robust tires!
😂 some are on order 🙌
Goodnight Mr Tom
also filmed there starring the legend that was John Thaw
Ironically you are standing on the very spot the final scene is shot when the boy cycles down the hill and pulls up to John thaw and says" I can ride dad, I can really ride".
The house for sale is where the Vicar of Dibley lived! 😆
Hi Amy and Kyle, what a great video to watch after a busy day at work 👍 really made me smile 😊 wonder if your Mums dog was being territorial to Chester as she was in her bed and Chester was close, so was being told to keep away 🤔
Thanks! Haha she’s always like that with him! 😂
Never try to install a tire at the valve or the opposite of the valve. Always 90° from the valve.
On Rightmove the house next to the windmill is for sale at wait for it 7 million quid !
Omg!! I knew I was right when I said millions 🤯🤯
What was the base layer type top pls you were wearing when you filled up with fuel?
Ahh the multicolour one? It’s an all in one attached to the Santini bib tights ☺️
I will have a shufty at Santini site thanks
Where can I get one of those hi-vis straps Amy?
I got it with my All Points North entry earlier this year - so not sure where you can get them from actually!
Never known anybody have as many punctures as Kyle 😱😱
It's the tyres 😉
Is it just me or does John remind you of Austin Powers??? Love the show!
@@easternairlines727 😂
Did Kyle ever install the "Duro" model of those Panaracer tires? I suspect not. 🙃
No he needs to! 😂
@amy.cycling.adventures ... so stubborn
Where is Chester? 🤨🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾
Update... he appears at about 13 minutes😃
There’s definitely something up with getting so many punctures, it’s not normal for one person to have that many 😂
😂😂
Nice tan, Amy!
Kyle’s saddle and lever hoods must be wrecked the amount of times he turns his bike upside down on the road.
Makes me feel better knowing someone else has as many punctures as me.
Wow 15 miles from me in Didcot.
Great advertising simple tyre maneuvers 😅
Gene wilder is awesome 😉
Purple helmet 😅😅😅 mandy
Amy wash your mouth out…”Is this your winter bike” 😅…Pinny’s are nice but Fairlight’s are classier!! (from another Fairlight owner)
Sorry Jon 🤦♀️😂😂
Winter bike 😂
😂😂😂
Top secreto 😂
Any chance of sharing your cereal bar recipe?
Yes I’ll do a video over winter ☺️
Must be nice to bike at elevation way lower than 5200 ft like im at😢
Another advert for tubeless and need for decent tyres. Tubeless would prevent 99% of these stops
Interesting. I see a lot of tubeless struggles on road but would say for gravel it’s a must
Another advert for learning how to do it properly
@@TBATTIECYCLINGroad tubeless issues are nearly always sealant related. Most on the market simply can’t handle the higher pressures.
Tubeless is brilliant when it works and the ride quality is amazing. When it doesn't - and this has happened on two group rides recently - its a pain in the proverbials. Trying to get an extremely tight fitting tyre off with cold hands in order to to put in a tube is a nightmare. And when finally you get home, you have to work out what to do with the £70 tyre that now has a hole in it. Yes I know it's supposed to be repairable.... sometimes.
Were all the pensioners in Tesco!🤔
😂😂
Tubeless, Amy, as others have said.
Good to see Michael Fabricant out on a bike 😎
Are you being serious 😅
Nice yipee
Somewhere Nige is cringing. 😬
Should of gone tubeless 😂
😂
Should have, not should of. Sorry. I'm a grammar geek!
Pinarello dogma cant change a inner tube 😂😂 all the gear no idea typical post olympic roadie
Not a dogma ✌️it’s an X7 😂
Lady Malones getting hotter by the hour...and her everlasting partner Kyle 1st Earl of "Stella Artois" looking extremely fresh...it seems his rehab proved very efficient !!!
Owing to the lack of diversity, those houses will be expensive.
Didn't you just do a hour long video on how to change your innertube when you get a puncture .
Real world test
Yes rather embarrassing 😂☺️
Wow, you are a busy woman. Again a new video.
The English thea must be strong. Milk in it. Blah 🤢
I don’t drink tea or coffee 😂
Always like Jon's sense of humor. He's good entertainment. No fun riding with someone who ALWAYS has flats lol. Nobody likes standing around and waiting. Kyle needs to upgrade the tires!
How many years of cycling and how many kilometers? And still can't fix a puncture! Flippin useless! LOL
Get an electric mini pump - the bomb!
