Great video on getting started. I'm new to beatmaking so I'm still learning what I don't know. It's harder to find examples of more advanced workflows in Korg Gadget 2. Like, examples of how it fits in to build out a complete song would be helpful to me. I'm having trouble figuring out how to turn a loop into a full track without juggling many apps. Thanks for the video!
@@Khordmaster unfortunately I still can't see it. It definitely isn't there. The only thing I see there is the solo/mute button and when the gadget is up a button to take you to the gadget choosing page. I don't understand it, there has to be an undo button somewhere lol.
Is Gadget still IAA only? I struggled with the limited sequencer early on in my ios music journey. I settled on Drambo and am completely hooked. I do really like Gadget's synths and would enjoy using them as instruments inside Drambo's tracks.
It is! I used to not like the closed environment but now I enjoy it. Been using ableton note a lot lately too! I’ve been meaning to tap into drambo. How’d you learn it? Just experimenting? Someone once said if I like gadget I would like drambo but the open environment was too confusing for me when I first used it!
@@Khordmaster I watched a lot of vids, experimented and shared info with the only other person I know in town that uses it. We trade tips pretty often and it's quickly come to be my mobile, home, studio and performance creative hub. I think the modular aspect of it really clicked for me as there is always several ways you can wire up whatever you want. Feel free to reach out if you ever want to get into it...
Hi, I'm thinking about getting the Korg Gadget 2, it's on the app store at £39.99 for the full version but info on exactly what you get for that is a bit ambiguous. Exactly how many of the listed gadgets do you get when you buy the full version and how many do you have to buy with in app purchase ? Also... can I open it in AUM so I can add other apps and effects into the mix? Your help would be much appreciated. Cheers Gary
Yes to the last question I love using it with AUM, it’s a great workflow. And I don’t remember exactly how many gadgets are I included vs what you can buy. But it’s a good amount
How successful are you at adding your own drum hits to Gadget I always have problems with it, actually, it's a headache. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't
You know what I haven’t really experimenting too much with importing samples into gadget. The drums there and effects are more than enough for me. I’ve experimented with importing my own samples via zurich and it works but is a bit clunky
hope you're having a good day!
Korg gadget rocks. Thanks!

thanks! i’ll try to put together a video detailing how i make complete songs with gadget!
Is there an undo redo button? I couldn't find one anywhere. Not being able to undo is a bit of a pain. Thanks in advance.
yep its right on the screen when you have the gadget up. bottom right

Good stuff man👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Aye I appreciate you checking out the video! Have you checked out Korg Gadget 2?
@@Khordmaster Yes, I just bought the Gadget 2 this morning! Looking forward to working with it.

Excellent... Cheers.
I think I might have to go for it then 🙂 I'm tempted by "Fieldscaper" too !

Is that the ipad mini?
Yep! Mini 6
🔥 tutorial
Aye I appreciate that!
All of the audio gadgets are missing after I paid for the full collection. Weird
That’s weird. Did you switch devices? I’ve had to reinstall (not repay) when using a separate device. Check for restore gadgets option. Good luck!
great video as always! I added this to the gadget / ds-10 blog 🔥
THANKS MAN! really appreciate your continued support!
