      Lex, if you were getting trillions of dollars annually from the American people to defend this country and all you had and could present are: eye witness testimony, from credible and incredible sources, various forms of telemetry data, pictures both poor and high quality, some video good and bad, some satellite data but nothing solid nothing presentable under scrutiny, you'd probably be obfuscating just like the Government.

    Hard to believe this is testing US technology for two reasons. These things are seen all over the world, not just on US testing sites. Also, these things have been flying in the skies since at least 1947. Declassified reports from 1947 read like accounts today in terms of flight characteristics. Unless you are willing to believe we had some kind of major breakthrough in aerial technology at the end of WWII, it is hard to believe these are all classified US aircraft. As for why the US is talking about the phenomenon, it might be to raise doubts in the minds of our adversaries that we have developed some new technology, whether we have or not. Wouldn't be the first time the US DOD/IC has used the UFO phenomenon for disinformation purposes.

A good novel just came out looking at the early days of the modern UFO era called "McMinnville." Gets into a lot of these arguments about what the phenomenon might be and its high strangeness. Great convo guys but I have to disagree. That’s true that we have had slealth fighters before the public knew about them, but the physics of it was not a mystery. These advanced propulsion systems are so advanced that our theoretical physics cannot understand and only speculate how they might work. It’s one thing to have developed new technology in secret but it’s another to have redefined the laws of physics in a bunker and then created technology based on those new laws. What you are assuming is that the government has top secret scientists that make Michio kaku and all of our private funded experts look like kindergartners.
    The advanced propulsion technology we are seeing isn’t simply 10 years ahead of us but hundreds or thousands. It would be like saying the government of England had developed motorcycles in a bunker during the 1300s.

    The most confusing thing about this is that the physics community clearly has no idea what's going on. So if these things are the result of human invention, then the human inventors were, as early as the 1940s, on a level far beyond the likes of Ed Witten, Kip Thorne, Sean Carroll, Lee Smolin and their ilk, and never once released ANY relevant information to the public throughout their 70+ year tenure as government ghost employees. Needless to say, that makes no damn sense.
    On the other hand, if these things are NOT the result of human invention, then the question arises of why the relevant governmental/military groups have not contacted the physics community for help in determining what they are. Generals and CIA directors are not physics geniuses. They lack the relevant backgrounds to solve the puzzle. So why are they leaving those who are most equipped to solve this puzzle in the dark?
    The only other possibility is that the physics community DOES know what's going on, but this leads to the most absurd scenario of all: that all the top physicists are actors so good they put Tom Cruise to shame and are so tight-lipped that Michael Corleone himself wouldn't be able to crack them. Total nonsense.

      Also likely that there are certain subjects that are taboo to talk about within the scientific community ie: spirituality, UFOs, Psychedelics, etc. I mean, these are things to be talked about and taken seriously, yet funding for these fields is scarce as if hiding something. Not that we know, but we'd rather stay ignorant for it would disturb current "investments"

    • @LucasRothstein
      @LucasRothstein 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@liquidityjoey1158 What you describe is similar to my own view. I think the second scenario I described is the most likely. The government doesn't want physicists involved because they would outcompete the government itself in term of their knowledge, and then the government would lose its power to use the phenomenon for social engineering purposes. I suggest "The Alien Disclosure Deception" by Charles Upton for an articulate and thoughtful description of this view.

      Lies lies, and more lies is all we'll ever hear from the criminals that run the world atm. And it has nothing to do with having humanity's best interest at heart because like Joe said we're not in this together as the intelligent human beings we all are, they think they own us and so reserve the right to share any sensitive information like that to the public (to the sheep/slaves). So they would rather take as long as it has to (in this case decades) to figure out how these out of this world propulsion systems work, than having to admit they have them in their possession let alone share the technology for the benefit of humanity. It's all about money and using that technology to control the masses. Call me deluded if you like, but it seems to me that they are trying to slowly paint the picture that aliens can potentially be hostile towards humanity as there's growing concern for how much more often they're being sighted near military facilities and their intentions. Is this a set up for another false flag event 🤔!!?? Mmm interesting!

No lights, no sound, just hanging perfectly stationary. After about a minute it moved in what seemed like a perfectly straight line for about 200 feet then shot straight up, it was literally gone in a blink of an eye. What made it even stranger is that I and one daughter could see this thing, while my wife and other daughter couldn’t. So what’s that all about? Thinking about drives me nuts…i can’t work out a logical explanation.

      The whole "government conspiracy" idea is bogus. No one on this planet is anywhere near developing a drive system that can pull off the maneuvers that these craft have been observed doing. This technology is WAY BEYOND anything the US, China, or Russia even dreams of having. The sad truth is that we're not bright enough yet to develop this technology even if we like to think we are. Even if we do have recovered alien craft available to reverse engineer it would be like Neanderthals trying to figure out a nuclear reactor.

I think THAT'S what's continuing to keep real disclosure from happening.

    • @mnrvaprjct

      Look up the Alcubierre drive and Harold white - I bet these craft use some variation of that. They might be powered by harnessing antimatter-matter collisions, which releases 100% of the energy from both particles - we can’t do that because it’s expensive to manufacture (the anti-matter) but if we could it would, like you said, be effectively free energy.

    • @DreamskyDance
      @DreamskyDance 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I mean we already have basis for technology for some of the alternative and very good propulsion systems. We just dont have the ability to generate power those propulsion systems would need.
      And as you said, that amount of power generation can change the world more than it changed in industrial or digital revolution. Not to mention those propulsion systems used on Earth, shipping from one part of the world to other within seconds and such...
      Only problem we, as a humanity, have is power. If there was more power you could produce more food, you could clean the atmosphere, you could stop hurricanes in their tracks, you could build world wide transportation network, you could power research for even better things, you could feed, clothe and keep warm every human on Earth for no cost at all.
      I mean, even wars are fought for resources from which power is generated.
      If there were some kind of power generation on that level, you or i would not pay electricity anymore because it would be more bountiful then air and basically free.
      Imho, humanity should focus on the power problem, when that is solved everything else just falls into place...

    I like clips of much longer interviews and such. Especially Rogan's and Fridman's. My take on some of this is: Even if the universe is infinite in duration and extent, then if the things that are happening within it are constrained by certain fundamental laws (which seems to be the case), then it would follow that there aren't infinite possibilities. But I'm not sure if that necessarily rules out the idea of precisely exact duplication of certain objects and events -- except that in our observations of our world and the cosmos we don't observe that. What we do observe is that every snapshot we take of our world and the cosmos is different from every other snapshot in a way that we call the direction of time or change. Anyway, the current bottom line regarding any speculations about UFOs, aliens, exoplanets, the cosmos, etc. for which we have insufficient data to calculate probabilities is that we just don't know. But it's fun to speculate nonetheless.

    • @stephenkelly8524
      @stephenkelly8524 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The way I've heard it explained, if the universe is infinite in duration and extent then anything with a non-zero chance of occuring will occur. So yes, certainly that is bound by fundamental laws but those laws don't change this fact. For example, we know that particles combust when combined with their antiparticle; this seems to be a fundamental law. So there isn't a universe in which life is comprised of atoms made of particles and their corresponding antiparticle because this would have zero probability chance of occurring.
      But that doesn't change the fact that everything else with a non-zero probability not only has (or will) occur, it will occur an infinite number of times. Somewhere out there, a universe exists where a monkey is randomly bashing keys on a typewriter and the monkey has perfectly recreated every work by William Shakespeare. Sounds absurd? It certainly is... but that's how absurd infinity is.
      I also love speculating, and I'm leaning towards space not being infinite given just how insane that would actually be. I think there's got be a limit somehow, and I really like the idea of (in a few billion years) the 'big crunch' coming into play. It would be neat to think that whatever space-time slush we exist in is just a giant cycle of expansion and crunching.

    • @TheMg49
      @TheMg49 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@stephenkelly8524 I'm leaning toward an infinite universe in which the 'big bang', while comprising 'our universe', and incomprehensibly humongus to us, was/is a relatively minor disturbance. I agree with the non-zero probability stuff. The problem is figuring out what to include. For example, the cosmic expansion that we observe isn't showing any signs that it might eventually reverse. So zero probability for a big crunch, I think. There will be lots of things that we can imagine that will have to be excluded. But anyway, yeah, I have to agree with the monkeys and Shakespeare thing. Unless I can think of a reason to exclude it. 🙂 Thanks for the reply.

That theory also works within the theory called ‘black holes all the way down.’ The quick version: what we know of as the universe is inside of a black hole…which is inside of another black hole…which inside of another black hole. Each of these may have different and distinct laws that depend on how their particles interacted during their expansions. It also explains how the Big Bang may have started.

The Pentagon and the intelligence community seems fractious; and they seem to have their own agenda separate from the government that actually governs. Exactly. There is more than one government, even in the U.S. government. People made fun of Donald Trump talking about "The Deep State", but as retired career federal employee, I can tell you The Deep State is as real as it gets, and it's not necessarily evil or anything. But, it exists, and in some ways, it carries a lot more power and authority than Congress, the White House, and the Supreme Court do. I saw examples of it from when I first came on and watched a Presidential speech talking about how my agency was going to be changed. A GS 15 sitting next to me laughed, and said, "This guy really thinks he's in charge." And, he was right. None of the changes he proposed for our agency came to pass, because the people running it, just decided not to let it happen. I saw that same scenario played over and over again in my twenty one years I was there. And, I worked for two different IC agencies, not the Department of Agriculture or HUD or something like that.

      @@scottcrowe4266 You can go back farther than that! The whole subject became a hot topic in June of 1947 when Kenneth Arnold witnessed nine UFOs/UAPs near Mt. Rainier, WA. He estimated their speed at about 1200 to 1700 mph which was impossible for an aircraft in that time. UFOs/UAP were even seen before then. During the latter stages of WWII pilots encountered what they called Foo fighters. Balls of light which followed their aircraft. At first, they were thought to be German secret weapons. But after the war German pilots also came forward saying they had encounters with these Foo fighters. This has been going on a long time! There are newspaper articles from the 1890s about strange airships with lights. Cmdr. David Fravor said it best. What he encountered in 2004 off San Diego.... the tic tac incident.......... is in his mind "nobody's inventory" This isn't US, Russian or Chinese technology. So...where does it come from. There seems to be an intelligence behind it!

    The YF22 first prototype flight was in September of 1990. The ATF program itself started in the late 80's. We are now more than 30 years into the future and the F22 is considered the most capable stealth fighter even beyond the recently released Russian Su-57. This should help you understand the backlog of projects being worked and the time it takes before those become an operational reality.

      Yeah, we don't have a gravity drive and are probably hundreds or thousands of years away from developing one. We don't even fully understand the physics yet of how it work -- let alone how to build one.

      To be fair, that’s a full fledged production aircraft.
      Tech demonstrators, experimental aircraft and the like are generally far more advanced, kept under wraps and built in small numbers simply due to cost.
      Then as the technology matured and manufacturing techniques catch up, the new tech gets introduced to production aircraft.
      It’s more a cost issue than anything else. Same reason the SR-71 is still the fastest plane in the world half a century later. We can do it, it’s just not worth it financially.

    If it is the US ( or any other nation ) making and testing these crafts, why on earth would they test them in areas where they know US military aircraft are ? Article just a few days ago was about pilots getting frustrated with worry over possible mid-air collisions. Can't think of a reason why they'd willingly expose themselves.

    An answer I always go to for the Fermi paradox is usually the dark forest theory. That if there's life other life in the universe then it's probably doing it's best to hide and not show itself to other potencially hostile life forms. And yet were sitting here just opening broadcasting our existence and location.

    • @AlexanderMoen

      It makes for a good story, but I think the truth is probably closer to the opposite. The advances in technology you would need to become a society that escapes to another star system must be incredible. Pair that with the idea that every advance in technology and physics comes with an equal and opposite potential for destruction as well. As technology advances, the amount of funding and the size of a group of people needed to end life on a planet becomes smaller and smaller. So, if that pre-interstellar travel civilization has any war mongering or hate, it'd easily be within the power of an individual or a small group to destroy the entire planet (or even their entire solar system). So, more advanced civilizations want to wait and see if a newer, pre-interstellar travel civilization makes it passed that breaking point where they are peaceful enough and cohesive despite having the ability to do immense damage to others. If aliens made themselves known before that, a society that still had violence within it could rally together in a relatively short period of time using the angle that there's a threat out there. And, when you think about how quickly we went from no airplanes to landing on the moon in fewer than 70 years, a similar rally to interstellar travel could perhaps be done as well. But, if the violent less advanced society blows itself up because they can't sort themselves out, there's so much space between stars that no other alien civilizations would ever be in danger.
