@sterlingmuse5808 yeah lol I think the "Broadway musical" and "building war" vibes are what define HH currently. Versus HB seems more grounded in specific individual's lives (Fizz's job or Moxxie/Millie argument, or "will Blitzø overcome trauma and get a bf?" Lol) the stakes are a lot smaller & personal in HB. Not much of a giant war building there ;P
Didn't see the comics, but I knew about Blitzo's sister. In the pilot, we saw a poster of the two of them, apparently with an act before he went clown. Between them looking alike, seeming to get along in the image, and Blitzo later using sex with employees as a threat rather than reward, it stood to reason there was a family connection there
The funny thing that the pilot tells us that Blitzo has a sister. There is a poster on the wall, which has the amazing siblings write on it and you can see Blitzo and I guess her sister there. Also the wording of the poster foreshadows his circus background. On a different shoot I remember catching her sister name whixh was Barbie or something similar. There are more little small details in the background, so it is worth rewatch episodes (obviously not just because of the details). Like Fizzaroli is on the cerial box when in the kitchen in Stolas palace. Also I think his got a picure in episode one on the wall with a knife or darts in it when Loona holds up the family photo. I really like that these little details comes into play later. Also thank you for letting me know there is a comic.
Blitzo adopted Loona when she was seventeen, she wasn’t an adult quite yet I also really love that Tex is inviting her specifically to a Hound Party; Loona is a hellhound, but we really only see her with imps and her only legal family is an imp. I expect a parallel could be drawn to being adopted by someone of another race and always feeling out of place, then making a connection with someone like you and getting a chance to learn about your own culture.
Knowing that Blitzo is Loona's dad adds new context to past episodes, like the smile that Loona gave in the pilot, or the over affectionate dreamy eyed look Blitzo would give. It never came off as creeper to me, and was like wait that's often how dad's are portrayed to their daughters. Well, now we know.
Loona awkwardly trying to flirt or just have inter personal interactions is definitely gonna hit us all with unpleasant flashbacks o_O . Big Ole Mood, Loona...
In the pilot Blitzo said that his dad crushed his dreams, he's had a past working as a clown that didn't pan-out and now we find that his sister is in rehab. It seems that Blits has had a bit of a downer past. I wouldn't be surprised if we ever got an episode focusing heavily on Blitzo's family and past which was also connected back to the story of how he adopted Loona, dated that a******, founded his company and maybe even has a connection to Stolas's backstory in someway. I mean, they keep teasing us with giving us little bits and pieces about his past which is a good way to prep an audience for a character's life-story so it would make sense.
Fun fact: The I.M.P. is located on the second ring of Hell - Lust. Three rings down (where the ocean is) the fifth ring is located - Rage. On the fifth ring, the Styx River is located (which is the only place that has water in Hell). P.S: I dont know if it is a canon or not, but according to Dante - it is
Blitzo said something about the "adoption anniversary" in the pilot. I always wondered if that meant, adoption "like a pet" or "like a daughter". Now we have confirmation there. 😁
.y favorite part about this show is how well it balances out giving us some world building, being funny and entertaining at the same time, and giving us some character info at the same time with practically each episode. I've never seen an episode I didn't enjoy in this show.
"Who's Michael Crawford?" I have two answers. 1- I've heard that he played in "Phantom of the Opera" 2- My cousin. If he was still around, he'd be amused at this episode Oh yeah Vivzi did do that. Around time this came out, most of the characters had instagram accounts. Octavia & Loona were getting some very creepy posts that Vivzi was not comfortable with. Esp with Octavia being a minor at 17. She eventually locked their accounts then deleted them. So this was a callout to that
6:44 for those that didn't know Michael Crawford played The Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera musical. Moxie is a big fan of the musical, as he has a playbill of it on the wall of their bedroom(see the pilot).
you can see a lot of what happens in the backgrounds via the voxtagrams (instagrams) of the characters. stories like blitzo being kidnapped, escaping, and stolas storming in to hug him or when stolas took care of blitzo while he had a broken leg
this episode was hitting me so hard when i first watched it on my own and i couldn't watch every part of it alone so i re-watched it while watching reactors
In the pilot episode, Blitzo goes up to Loona with a present saying “happy adoption anniversary,” so if you’d had paid attention to that, it shouldn’t have been a surprise
They all have Instagrams where they apparently @ each other and show more of the story through social media posts as themselves. This show is great at fleshing out the characters to give all of these horrible demons of hell a soft side and a heart. And its done in a way that makes sense.
He did say he adopted her in the pilot episode. I think most people thought he was joking or something even though he brought that spider box gift for her on her adoption day. Also she said he adopted her when she was almost 18. So she was still underaged.
Blitzo has two sisters, actually: there's a vintage poster in the meeting room in the pilot advertising "The Amazing Imp Siblings!": Blitzo; a woman who looks like she could be his twin named Barbie Wire; and a much taller, calmer-looking woman named Tilla.
I don't drool over Loona, but Vortex is woof. That 4th Wall break, though. Blitzo is just an overly affectionate and protective pet father. Adopted at 16 actually. She was 17 in the pilot. She's 18 now.
All the info I know about this show is from the videos themselves. In the pilot there are pictures in the office main that have pics of Blitzo and his siblings and a wedding pic of Moxxie and Millie. Also in Blitzo's office in episode 1 there are pics of his circus career and I think his family. Even Octavia in ep.2 had a large pic of her family in her bedroom when she was small and tucked into bed. But the family pic was nowhere to be seen in her room when they jump cut to older Octavia. Also the singing voice for Verosica is Cristina Vee, the voice actress for Miraculous Ladybug.
Seeing the van at the beginning - I thought of the ATeam... maybe it's been way off The adoption was mentioned in the pilot episode... when Blitzo aproached Loona with a small present and said "happy adoption anniversary" - she's been almost 18 at adoption, so maybe she's 20 or 21 now...
That "Stolas approves" killed me even before the episode started xD Also... Am I the only one surprised by how people in Hell seems to be mainly monogamous?
Michael Crawford played the Phantom in the 1990 movie Phantom of the Opera. Not sure why Moxxie wants to know what it's like to have sex with him, but I'm sure there's a story in there.
@@aidanmaloney2006 in the pilot moxie critiqued blitz's music, saying that a jingle can't hold a candle to musical theatre. Moxie is probably a fan of musical theater. Considering moxie has a poster of phantom of the opera in his house.
I think Blitzo's family may have been implied from some of the posters in his office during Stolas's call from the pilot, but in all fairness one would likely need to specifically pause and read some of the posters as they show up in the background to notice.
I really hope they don't end up doing the cliche "Tex ends up liking Loona more than his current girlfriend and leaves her for Loona" thing. I prefer the idea of her and Tex just being friends.
Something I think a lot of people missed on the pilot is that Blitzo adopted Luna, I missed it every time I watched it until I found out on the third episode.
Hey, at least he told her instead of taking FULL ADVANTAGE OF THE SITUATION! Tex could have played it smooth and oily, but he was honest about it all instead.
I’m pretty sure the IMP crew made bank with this job, I can just imagine. Moxxie: here you go sir, I’ve divided up the earnings into everyone’s paychecks for you to dole out Blitzo: are you trying to screw with me? There’s f*cking zeros behind these numbers!
A van is a good choice for them. Room for gear (and more employees), better head and leg room for Loona, enough mass for taking or delivering a hit, presumably decent price relative to market averages... Admittedly a lot of these reasons apply to many fictional characters getting vans. Characters on both sides of the moral divide. And if the company's fortunes improve, they could probably justify upgrading it with aftermarket parts. Better engine, reinforced suspension, premium adjustable seats, armor, spikes, run flat tires, rear facing SAW mount. You know, basic stuff for hell.
True, but still kinda glad we didn't. This episode had enough people getting their freak on without the Stolas censorfest. Besides, after the Stolas-focus last episode his absence here was well-timed

Yeah. When I got to the end I thought why it was so short but then I looked at the time. It's the best show I watched since Rick and Morty.
Same
Didn't see the comics, but I knew about Blitzo's sister.
Blitzo adopted Loona when she was seventeen, she wasn’t an adult quite yet
I also really love that Tex is inviting her specifically to a Hound Party; Loona is a hellhound, but we really only see her with imps and her only legal family is an imp. I expect a parallel could be drawn to being adopted by someone of another race and always feeling out of place, then making a connection with someone like you and getting a chance to learn about your own culture.
I swear Helluva Boss gets more adore deep every episode like HO-LY
Talk about the freaks.... Decide to give more fuel for the fire
I love this show giving more backstory and there comic I didn't know about that part?
P.S: I dont know if it is a canon or not, but according to Dante - it is
Don't forget the greed Ring with the ripoff theme park
And the pride Ring with the sinners
No, they’re located in the Pride Ring, because that’s where the majority of their clients (the Sinners) are.
Blitzo said something about the "adoption anniversary" in the pilot. I always wondered if that meant, adoption "like a pet" or "like a daughter". Now we have confirmation there. 😁
Why not both?
“Happy adoption aniversery” was in the pilot the present he gave her was on the anibersery of him adopting her
Ikr
"Biggest kill of the day: Tex" I REALY beg to differ, that goes to Blitz. Victim? the world wide furry community XDDD
.y favorite part about this show is how well it balances out giving us some world building, being funny and entertaining at the same time, and giving us some character info at the same time with practically each episode.
I've never seen an episode I didn't enjoy in this show.
You : Wait Loona is Biltz's daughter?
Me : She literally pointed it on the pilot sunshade.
"Who's Michael Crawford?"
I have two answers.
1- I've heard that he played in "Phantom of the Opera"
2- My cousin. If he was still around, he'd be amused at this episode
Oh yeah Vivzi did do that. Around time this came out, most of the characters had instagram accounts. Octavia & Loona were getting some very creepy posts that Vivzi was not comfortable with. Esp with Octavia being a minor at 17. She eventually locked their accounts then deleted them. So this was a callout to that
Wow haven't even been a day
4:09 Two actually.
7:24 Heh, I heard the gravely purr of a motorcycle engine.
10:43 They're self-aware.
I like how Vortex is just chill about almost everything. It’s such a mood
6:44 for those that didn't know Michael Crawford played The Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera musical. Moxie is a big fan of the musical, as he has a playbill of it on the wall of their bedroom(see the pilot).
I can see why Vivienne chose Cristina Vee as Verosika's VA, her voice fits the character so perfectly!!!
you can see a lot of what happens in the backgrounds via the voxtagrams (instagrams) of the characters.
stories like blitzo being kidnapped, escaping, and stolas storming in to hug him
or when stolas took care of blitzo while he had a broken leg
Yeah! Didn't you remember the picture in the pilot also dont you remember the line in the pilot "happy adoption anniversary luna"
I did so I'm surprised he didn't realized she was adopted
this episode was hitting me so hard when i first watched it on my own and i couldn't watch every part of it alone so i re-watched it while watching reactors
In the pilot episode, Blitzo goes up to Loona with a present saying “happy adoption anniversary,” so if you’d had paid attention to that, it shouldn’t have been a surprise
Damn dude, you work fast!
I was excited to see what Viziepop did next. 😁
@@Airier perfectly understandable. When I first saw it had been posted I dropped DnD prep to watch it immediately.
I'm chuckling a bit every time people seem to forget the "Happy adoption annivesary Loonie!" moment in the pilot xD
10:41 My dark wolven goddess glared at me... I can die happy now. XD
Michael Crawford is an actor. He's known for being in the Phantom of the Opera musical.
6:49 Michael Crawford played the titular Phantom in Phantom of the Opera.
Seeing the van at the beginning - I thought of the ATeam... maybe it's been way off
The adoption was mentioned in the pilot episode... when Blitzo aproached Loona with a small present and said "happy adoption anniversary" - she's been almost 18 at adoption, so maybe she's 20 or 21 now...
We already knew blitzo adopted loona, remember that spider gift in the pilot? it was an adoption aniversary gift
This was the song at the beginning. It's clearly Blitzo, singing about Veracika.
22:54 press F to pay respect
That "Stolas approves" killed me even before the episode started xD
Also... Am I the only one surprised by how people in Hell seems to be mainly monogamous?
Loona was adopted at 17. She says "I was almost 18" so not legally an adult just yet when she was adopted. Just a minor thing
Drunk Moxie is my favorite “when did you get 4 heads? I wanna kiss them”
Michael Crawford played the Phantom in the 1990 movie Phantom of the Opera.
Not sure why Moxxie wants to know what it's like to have sex with him, but I'm sure there's a story in there.
It’s hinted that moxie was in theater at some point
@@aidanmaloney2006 in the pilot moxie critiqued blitz's music, saying that a jingle can't hold a candle to musical theatre. Moxie is probably a fan of musical theater. Considering moxie has a poster of phantom of the opera in his house.
Michael Crawford did the voiceover for the badger Cornelius in 1993’s “Once Upon A Forest” 😊
He: i've seen him always as a joke
Joaquin Pheonix: oh you know how this is going to end.
The song Blitz was singing to is called "Mustang Dong". There's acutally a music short of it.
I think Blitzo's family may have been implied from some of the posters in his office during Stolas's call from the pilot, but in all fairness one would likely need to specifically pause and read some of the posters as they show up in the background to notice.
Blitz's family can be seen in some of the posters in his office. They were all circus performers.
Michael Crawford = Phantom of the Opera. Like the original Phantom or close enough to the original. He was in the role for long time.
Random fact, Luna frist appeared in HAZBIN HOTEL (PILOT), durning the tv station song. Or least a charater that looks like her.
I mean, if they go with actual wolf pack hierarchies then a poly relationship is more than possible.
actually, that is not accurate, wolves tend to stay loyal to their mates. besides wolf packs hierarchies are parents + kids.
Michael Crawford is Andrew Lloyd Webber's org. Phantom Of The Opera from the famous musical of the same name.
I’m pretty sure the IMP crew made bank with this job, I can just imagine.
Moxxie: here you go sir, I’ve divided up the earnings into everyone’s paychecks for you to dole out
Blitzo: are you trying to screw with me? There’s f*cking zeros behind these numbers!
A lot of them too.
That sounds like something Blitzø would say.
Also. I love his drawing.
[Picture of him killing person] = $
$ = [horsey drawing]
Blitzo have 2 or 3 sister if not mistaken
You could see them in the scene from helluva boss pilot,in a poster when stolas call
Shame we didn't see stolas in this episode
True, but still kinda glad we didn't. This episode had enough people getting their freak on without the Stolas censorfest. Besides, after the Stolas-focus last episode his absence here was well-timed
Not to mention, Blitzø finally got to keep his phone unbroken for an episode.
Michael Crawford is an actor known for his role in Phantom of the Opera.
You should follow their canon Instagram pages on Instagram they have their own side stories sometimes and they give you insight on certain relationships like loona and blitzo being a father and daughter relationship as well as just wholesome moments cx
What’s their canon Instagram?
I am surprised that so few noticed her tattoo of Blitzos name on her arm.
Verosika's voice is so nice to listen to. It's hypnotizing.. which makes perfect sense.
Was scrolling through the comments and i couldnt see anyone else saying it, but did you know verosika is voiced by the same person who voiced marinette in the miraculous show.
Not sure if I saw that here or somewhere else. But I did learn that sometime after the episode. It's crazy how different the characters are for the same VA. 😮
Blitzo past (so far)
-was a clown in loo loo land for a while
-dated a pop star before or during her career
-stole said pop star credit card and used it all on horse riding lessons (possible innuendo)
-adopted loona when she was about to be 18 years old
-got into a “working relationship” with a lord of hell for a magical book
In a "relationship" with a lord of hell
1:57, I love this part. It's just so funny 🤣 😂 😆 💀 😭
Is it just me or does Human Loona remind anyone Else of Kim Possible?
That or shego
8:33 Blitzo: only I'm aloud to enter them 😏
