She's Belezabub Princess of Gulttony, She's basically a Emotion vore, she feeds on energy so gets everyone super energized with sugar for a feedback loop. The more energized the party the more energy she gets. Sensing emotions also means she has natural empathy, she literally feels what you feel, which is probably why unlike the other 6 of Prince/Princess of Hell she'll hang out with the lower classes.
Also... Blitz has a one-bedroom apartment. The bedroom is Loona's room, Blitz sleeps on the couch, in his own home.

To be honest, seeing Bee expressing concern for Blitzo here suddenly explains how Charlie can be so hopeful about redemption. If one of Hell's top demons can show compassion, how far from goodness can fallen humans actually be?

That's why I find her a very interesting character. The reason Stolas was my favourite character before finding out he's 35 (still is a bit, just less) was because I loved the idea of this ancient demon lord, a commander of unholy armies, who's seen empires rise and fall, just kind of becoming miserable lonely and depressed as the eons go by. To quote a wise devil "I may have been the king of hell but I was still in hell, if that's not a poisoned chalice I don't know what is"
Unlike Stolas, Beelzebub seems to have actually worked through any potential Great Fall related trauma, and is enjoying the simpler things like having a boyfriend and throwing great parties for more than the upper class. Admittedly they only count as simpler things compared to plotting the downfall of Heaven and Earth, but still.
While the 2 other things said here are very true, you also have to remember she _is_ gluttony. It's very easy to dismiss her "caring" as just that. She cares because the more empathetic she comes across (even if she is genuinely caring which she seems to be as well), the more people will go down the deep deep rabbit hole of gluttony. Also, gluttony involves so much more than just eating or drinking in excess. Greed is a part of it as well, so is lust and so many emotions. MORE MORE MORE... no matter what you want, she'll give you more of it, including care if it means more of that sweet sweet energy.

Like how Ozzy has a firm "no love potions" stance because he believes full consent is essential for enjoyment of lust. Both of them put enjoyment by their followers above control. Maybe because they don't deal with pride? Either way, even the Sins have their little virtues
A pity that any potential redemption may not even matter, as Heaven was more than happy to kick out angels over an accidental death that wasn’t even entirely their fault. So they will most likely turn away any demons or sinners by default.
Kesha, formerly Ke$ha, is probably most famous for her song "Tik Tok" ("Wake up in the morning feeling like P. Diddy ..." and all that). Also, long before Hazbin Hotel or Helluva Boss came out, Vivziepop first went viral due to a well-made fan-animated music video of Kesha's song "Die Young" featuring a blue female anthropomorphic canid (which would later inspire the basic design of Loona & other Hellhounds) singing the lyrics & dancing (the original video has since been taken down from Vivziepop's channel but you can probably find a re-upload or three elsewhere).
So yeah, having Kesha as the voice actor for Queen Bee-elzebub is kinda like Vivziepop coming full circle in a funny unexpected way.

I love that we finally get a new character, one of the deadly sins no less, who didn't turn out to be an a***ole. And it's even more awesome that Vivziepop got her favorite singer, Ke$ha to voice Beelzebub. Surprised you didn't know who she is, but don't worry. There are ways to be less cultured. She has a great design too. All that alone was definitely worth the wait. (And the song is probably why the wait happened.)

@@L-W-ko1hnOzzie was judgmental as hell though and wasn’t above embarrassing his patrons despite also probably being in a relationship with someone beneath his station (i.e. Fizz). That wouldn’t have happened at Queen Bee’s party once it got going, and Queen Bee didn’t directly confront Blitzø about ruining the vibe unlike Ozzie with Moxie, Stolas, and Blitzø.
Kesha took the $ out of her name in light of a recent legal battle she had, so it’s just Kesha now!
Sorry for the long comment. Some details:
You can always tell which Ring it is by the sky color - Pride is red, Wrath is orange, Gluttony is yellow, Lust is blue, Sloth is pink, and Greed is green. Although depending on the time of the day the sky might be a different shade - in the pilot (though the canonicity of the pilot at this point is questionable) the sky around Stolas' palace looked pink, even though that palace is in Pride. We haven't seen Envy yet.
Bee is actually Beelzebub. You were right with that assumption. Beelzebub is often depicted as an insect, and in the Hazbin/Helluva universe hellhounds are native to Gluttony, hence why she has both incorporated into her design. She is the Queen of Gluttony, which puts her at the same power level as Asmodeus, who of course rules over and represents Lust. The Deadly Sins are the most powerful demons in Hell. Lucifer pulls double duty as the ruler of Pride and all of Hell.
Bee also mentions trying to steal drugs from Belphegor and we learn that Belphegor is also a 'she'. Belphegor rules over Sloth - the one with the pink sky, floating islands, and waterfalls from 'Western Energy'. It's where the hospital that Loona gets her shot in is. Sloth seems to control the medical industry in Hell - the antidepressants Stolas takes in one of the episodes have Belphegor's name on the container.
Yes, Lucifer and Satan are different characters - Lucifer is Charlie's dad and Lilith's husband. Like I said, he technically governs all of Hell, but his Ring is Pride (red sky, where Pentagram City, Imp City and Stolas' palace are). Lucifer rules over the sinners (and he's probably the reason why sinners can't leave the Pride Ring, while hellborn demons can go anywhere. I always assumed it's because he wants all of God's 'damaged goods' to himself.)
Satan rules over Wrath (orange sky), which is the western-themed Ring and where all the imps originated from, before some settled in other Rings. In fact, Moxxie invokes Satan's name multiple times, so we can assume even if you move out of Wrath, you still probably hold him in high regard.
The creators seem to use a rainbow color scheme with the ring's sky colors. My guess is that Envy is the purple ring, since purple is the only color in the rainbow that doesn't have a confirmed sin.
Although their choices confuse me, since usually the colors are:
Wrath = Red (the color most associated with anger)
Gluttony = Orange
Greed = Yellow (to represent the wealth of gold)
Envy = Green ("green with envy")
Pride = Blue (the color most associated with royalty)
Sloth = Purple
Lust = Pink
Greed: Yellow.
Lust: Blue.
Wrath: Red.
Envy: Green.
Pride: Violet/Purple.
Gluttony: Orange.
Sloth: Light Blue.
But I think Vizzy went her own way with the colors representing them

Surprisingly, the singer isn’t Kesha. During the making of this episode, Kesha got into a lawsuit with her producer and wasn’t able to record the song so they got someone who did a pretty spot on impression. Kesha did voice Bee and she wrote “Cotton Candy” as well.
Also, yes, Satan and Lucifer are different. Lucifer is a fallen angel while Satan is an entity purely from Hell. I’m not sure when but, somewhere along the line, people started using the names interchangeably and even Bee’s full name “Beelzebub” has been placed under the names of the Devil. Their mythologies were originally separate.
Yeah, Satan and Lucifer are two seperate demons in Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss, as they also technically are in most Christian demonology actually. However they, together with Beelzebub are often thrown together (Which technically makes Bee here also #3 of hell basically)
Edit: Also nice parallel, Bee is actually higher than Stolas, even being one of the absolutely most important Demons there is, and has zero qualms about openly dating a hellhound, one of the demon species so low they are kept as pets basically. Yet probably due to the fact that there is almost no one above her, unlike Stolas she can probably just do that because who the hell is going to challenge her on that?
For the hierarchy, not exactly, she's ranked third but isn't #3. If I remember correctly the hell rankings are,
1. Lucifer
2. Lilith/Charlie
3. The other 6 sins including Ozzie, Satan, Mammon, and Bee.
4. Demon Royalty
5. Overlords
So yeah, Bee is third in ranking but there are at least three demons above her. And assuming the sins aren't all equal, probably more.

I find it really interesting that the two rulers or “Princes of Hell” we’ve seen so far aren’t actually bad people. Beelzebub here seemingly has zero malicious intentions. She can produce candy, sweet food, and alcohol and just wants her underlings to indulge as much as possible for pleasure which she can feel and get a high off of. She’s not eating people or making Hounds explode from overeating. I find it likely that due to her appearance of a hound she feels a kinship or connection with all hounds. Also it’s interesting how she actually felt concerned for Blitzø. This could be because his energy was weird and she didn’t like how it tasted and wanted him out, but she also seemingly understood that he’s going through some garbage right now and might need actual help.
Meanwhile Asmodeus also wasn’t really evil at all. His song and dance heavily encouraged lust and throughout the show he was actively congratulating Stolas on dating Blitzø and encouraging him. Sure his methods were a little aggressive or overly passionate but once again, no real malicious intent as the reason Blitzø left was due to interception from Verosika and Fizz. Asmodeus embodies lust and wants people to do it but he isn’t forcing people he just performs to get people going, like Beelzebub.
As for other notable information here, Satan finally gets directly referred to rather than simply being a phrase like “Satan’s a*s crack.” We know he’s hot and probably muscular which lines up with the fact that we see Satan has a fitness or workout app that we can see on Blitzø’s phone. Considering Satan rules over Wrath where Imps live and Beelzebub looks like a dog, Satan might be like a giant gym bro imp.
We also got confirmation that Belphagore is female and has party drugs which further pushes the idea that Belphagore may control physical illicit substances as well as medicine since the Sloth ring has hospitals in it. Considering what the residents look like, being goats with candles on their head, it’s possible Belphagore is the same and possibly taking on a more Baphomet appearance.
As for the other Princes we only know Mammon has a jester aesthetic and Leviathan is some kind of sea monster. Due to the diversity in oceanic demons however, we can’t really pinpoint what animal they’re primarily formed after. We also have bunch of pictures of Lucifer cause of Hazbin.
From an old tumblr post by Viv the sins (Royalty of hell) are split into two personalities. The chill and easy going ones such as: Ozzie and Beelzebub and the more rude ones such as: Mammon.
We've seen that the main (possibly only) hospital in Hell is located in Sloth - Belphagor's ring. Having recently been to the hospital for a shoulder injury, I can tell you this: Hospitals carry some stuff for when you really need to be knocked out - drugs that I believe would be considered 'the good shit' and would offer some wild times at parties - as long as the guests don't need to read anything or be in full control of their motor functions for a few hours after becoming sober. I don't think it's a matter of her having some monopoly on illicit substances so much as her having the stuff that'll send you on a trip, which Beelzebub would probably be fine with - as long as you're partying for the right reasons.
I feel like Leviathan might be a sort of whale shark seeing how most of the other oceanic demon types seem to be based off of various sharks in Exes and Oohs.

@@IronDino While this could be true we also need to keep in mind that the Loan Shark demons might be from the Greed Ring as there’s also a smaller ocean there. We have seen other deep sea demons like Jellyfish though and the fish people from the hospital episode so it could go either way.
Queen bee-lzabub, voiced by Ke$ha seems to be maybe the most relaxed character with the kindest vibe since Charlie ! Which is saying something coming from one of the 7 Demon lords of the sins. Hope she’s a more common character from now on like Verosika
And remember in Charlie's song she specifically mentions cotton candy dreams

Note he've said "Fizzarrolli is right, i'm gonna die alone". That sentence is from the episode he and Moxxie are caught and sprayed with the "Truth bomb". Blitz in a moment of his "trip" hear Fizzarrolli saying "You are going to die alone, Blitzo!"
I feel like maybe it's also something that Fizzarolli might have said to him in the past when they were still close and had their falling out.
Beelzebub lord of the flies, queen of gluttony. Belphagor is the lord of Sloth (the relm that had the hospitals) just some demonology fun there. If ya look at the sigil behind her as she's singing it's her sigil, meaning she's a very high ranking demon, being a lord of her own ring, she's likely higher up than Stolas
the ranking is all kinds of jumbled. Andrealphus is supposed to be lower rank than Stolas in the actual ars goethia but in the series he act untouchable, Paimon (Stolases Dad) being 3rd Rank in hell outranking some of the Sinns. Bephegor isnt even metioned in the ars goetia but is considerd a sinnlord. and some of the knights have been notet as overlords.

In the ars goetia Beelzebub is listet as Baal (beelzebub, baalzebub, baal) wich is actualy second in the ranking after Lucifer. before Paimon on third. however the way bee talks about Bephegor it suggests that the ranking doesnt much applie to the sinns in vivs world.

@vexter3225 The parts where Bee is talking is Kesha, but the song was performed by Rochelle Diamante. However, it seemed like Viv wanted Kesha to be the voice and performance of Bee, but unfortunately, legal matters got in the way. I feel like this because Rochelle tricked me into thinking it was Kesha, like she was aping some of her mannerisms and the way she sings, but that also could just be her for all I know.

Two things that stood out to me besides Queen Bee:
1. Blitz mentions wanting to hook up with a Monica or Alejandro. The name “Alejandro” could refer back to the Hella-novela Stolas was watching before going to Ozzie’s.
2. Blitz’s mention of Fizz goes back to the bad trip he had in episode 6.
Regarding 2, it could also be Robo fizz in episode 2.
When you said in the end "Loona called Blitzo dad in the privacy" - what about 19:04 when Blitzo downed the Keg and Loona just shouted "That's my dad!"
oh, good point ya and Loona from the start has always been very protective sometimes openly hostile about it.!

As such her being a canine is likely an allusion to "Dante's Inferno" where Cerberus (the original Hellhound) tormented the sinners who were sent to that ring.

I did not expect for Tex's girlfriend to be the Queen of Gluttony herself, but it does explain why she throws a ton of "crazy hound parties".
Her design is great on so many levels, with the fusion of hound and insect elements, and the lava lamp elements of her abdomen, tail, and hair (at times) just add to the hedonistic elements of the character without going overboard.
That's something that I really like about this series, as even the characters that are meant to embody the seven deadly sins are more nuanced than the more classical interpretation of them. This is also an indication that a king/queen being in a relationship with a lesser Hellborn isn't unheard of, so the media attention surrounding Asmodeus and Fizz may more be due to Asmodeus' association with lust more than anything else (for the Goetia, class status seems far more important though).
Also, we found out that Belphegor is female in this universe...and apparently keeps her recreational drugs under lock and key.
Now I'm really interested at just what the normal lifespan for imps and hellhounds is, as Bee and the other rulers have probably been in place since Hell's creation.
About the Satan/Lucifer naming, they are different individuals in this setting, as they are for some faiths in the real word. Satan is the ruler of Wrath, and while we don't know his origin, we do know that Lucifer (ruler of Pride and Hell as a whole), was an angel who rebelled against God, and was cast out for it.
Also, Loona called Blitz dad after the kegstand, and just before he out drank the bloody Queen of Gluttony.
I think I'm finally getting Blitz's arc. He went from using other people, to having other people. Then he finally understood that he cares about them during the big paranormal hunters drug trip... If I had to guess, this probably grows from him realizing that he's a person (and not some worthless imp) to becoming a good father, good friend, finding real love with Stolas instead of the one sided using of eachother that he sees it as.
As a side... If he really does care about Stolas, I'm half expecting him to literally deliver Striker to Stolas, thinking it's the good deed he needs to make up for everything he has likely done to Stolas.
I/E This story might be Blitz' journey to becoming a Helluva Boss.

Very possible! Though with him Delivering Striker, I bet that Striker has been.... but through the wringer with Blitz so that he can't run or do anything as Stolas does stuff to him.

Also because I've seen people arguing about it (also on Twitter) Bee doesn't have to be fat, because Gluttony can more broadly be interpreted as over-indulgence and a complete lack of self-discipline, so it's not just overeating; it's overdoing anything to the point that it becomes harmful and/or self-destructive...like overspending, micro-managing, watching too much TV, playing too many video games, or any type of addiction such as alcoholism.
Bee is also the maker of what Verosika drank on her Earth that she tossef in the ocean that made the mutant monster fish. It was Beelze Juice. In this episode Loona calls it Beezel juice as she's taking Blitz-o away.
So i think I finally get Bee's schtick now the more I think of the Sin Gluttony. Gluttony itself doesn't apply just to food but the Act of Over Indulgence. Her giving nature is apart of her sin, she lets people indulge form food to good times, even indulging in compliments from herself almost like a form of Toxic Positivity. It took me a minute to wonder why shes so nice despite being a demon and I realized it's part of her Nature to Host others and give them anything to indulge in. Kinda refreshing for a demon to not have ulterior motives.
What got me was she she sees that people have limits and wanted Blitz to stop while he could.
Introduced as the Queen of Gluttony, her nickname is Bee.....i can't imagine how Airier didnt relize she is Beelzebub
Bee is a representation of Beelzebub the demon embodiment of gluttony. Also fun little fact those honeycomb kegs are filled with Beelzebub juice which is verosica's favorite drink so he's used to this stuff

What's kinda cool about Bee is how positive and wholesome her wild house parties are. It's not just an excuse to get plastered and eat too much: she literally thrives off the energy at her parties, and can instinctively tell how everyone's doing by the 'flavor' of the 'honey' those vibes create -- she wants everyone to have a good time and enjoy themselves, because their cheer and enthusiasm makes her feel good and gives her a boost... but as we saw with Blitzo, she also doesn't want her guests going too far overboard to the point where they're self-destructing, which seems counterintuitive for the Ruler of Gluttony but makes sense for someone who thrives on an extroverted lifestyle.
I really hope we see more of her in the future. As much as Loona seemed crushed after meeting Tex's GF, I feel like Bee's positive energy and outgoing, empathetic nature could have a good influence on her -- she genuinely seems like a good friend to have, and Loona could _use_ more friends.

At the end of episode 7 loona left a note that she was going to a party. So it’s literally the same night.
At first I thought that it was a nice episode that didn’t really need to exist since I thought that Ozzie’s was a good season finale but did anyways since the team were able to get a hold of Kesha of all people (that could not have been easy. I wonder how the recordings went between her and Richard. Something he can knock off his bucket list), but after some sleep, this is a great contrast to Ozzie’s.
Beelzebub or Queen Bee and her party is almost like the polar opposites to Asmodeus’s lounge. While the party goers may have some bad blood, that goes out the window once the party gets going. Granted, I can’t tell how much of that is because of how charismatic Queen Bee is or how much the party atmosphere and all those drugs and alcohol circulating through their system is having an impact on that, but no one’s judging each other harshly for who they are here, not unlike at Ozzie’s where there was a whole musical number.
Both Ozzie and Bee are in a relationship with someone way below their station as avatars of the deadly sins (there’s more than likely something going on between Ozzie and Fizz), but unlike the former, Bee gives me the vibes that she wouldn’t think any less of Millie and Moxie or Stolas and Blitzø so long as they’re having a good time at her party and aren’t souring the vibe as Blitzø later was.
And she wasn’t mad at Blitzø for doing that or for beating her in the drinking contest. She’s the host, and she wants to make sure he’s having fun too, but the general atmosphere takes priority first as the host which is why instead of confronting him about it she and Vortex asked Loona, the responsible goer of the two, to check on him. She may have lost her cool at Loona, but that’s only because of Loona’s flippant attitude in a situation where Loona’s dad/plus one may not be doing so hot, and she did seem genuinely concerned that she may have gone a touch too far in convincing Loona.
It’s nice to know that not everyone just below Satan, Lucifer, and Lilith are like Paimon and Asmodeus.
I also like how there’s no real bad blood between Vortex and Blitzø from when Verosika was operating out of the office across from I.M.P.; it was just business placing them on opposing sides (or if there is still bad blood, that all went away once the party started).
Yes, Kesha is a pop star, and probably the reason this episode got so delayed. One of Vivziepop's biggest earlier works was a music video she did in her Zoophobia comic universe that was just an animated version of Kesha's song "Die Young".
Kesha herself has no problems with Vivziepop, but the company that owns the rights to Kesha's work probably didnt like the idea of Kesha singing a song for this show. Which is why while Kesha does Beelzebub's (Bee's) voice, she doesnt actually sing the song. They got another singer who does a fantastic Kesha impression to do the song in her place.
I mean, there can be symbolism in using Cotton Candy, cotton candy has the nutritional value of half a cup of sugar (because it basically is), it’s something you indulge in but ultimately is empty sugar to get the sugar rush and then crash
KE$HA co-wrote one of the songs but couldn't sing it due to legal battles with her former abusive producer. She was able to voice Bee and is finally free of that producer. I'm so proud of her!

@@Airier Yep, most of Vivienne`s VAs started out on Broadway apart from the Pilot cast for "Hazbin" which were mostly TH-camrs and people she met on Twitter and Facebook who sounded roughly like the Amazon Prime voice cast she had in her head.

Bee-lzebub is somehow one of the nicest characters in this setting and yeah it throws me off too. Like, I think she's genuinely being nice the whole time. She just wants everyone to have a good time because she feeds off the euphoria.

Kesha is a US singer known for her songs, Die young, Blow, and Cannibal as well as others. Kesha’s song Die young inspired Vivziepop to make an animation and that animation was what got Viv off the ground and made a name for herself, for people like me who were there before everyone else, we say this is the thing that tipped her of to being popular. Some even say it’s what started Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel however, I personally don’t believe that.
Kesha actually voices the character but doesn’t sing, because of a contract she had with her agency about her music.
kesha is a pretty popular pop singer, fun fact, vivziepop made a fan animation to one of kesha's songs absolutely ages ago. look at how far she's come.

Turns out Kesha only did the voice of the character and the song was performed by an artist named Rochelle Diamante. Something tells me that that plays a part in the legal issues they were having to get this episode out before season 2.

its something thats come up before. as was mentioned by another youtuber when the simpsons got micheal jackson to play a char there was no problems with his voice but the record lable wouldn't let him sing so they had to get another singer to do his chars musical bits. Its similer here Kesha could voice act the char but the record lable wouldn't let her sing the part doubly so since she was currently sueing her label, so they got another preformer to do the musical number, but that still didn't clear things since Kesha co wrote the song Cotton Candy which ment the label had hooks into the song as well while she was under contract and they wern't going to let it air with the lawsuit still ongoing

I don't think Viv, Brandon, and the rest of the team wanted to delay this episode, they were just wrapped up in a legal battle over it- we can now see it was because of the inclusion of Kesha, a top list pop star, and it took them this long to win the right to use her in it and release the episode. I'd kind of like an official statement about the legal battle, given the rumors I've read about how they wanted Bee's song to be one of Kesha's pre-existing copyrighted songs and had to change it to an original, or how Kesha's producer wouldn't allow her involvement on the project and they had to wait for Kesha to replace him.
It took way to long to realize that Bee is actually Beelzebub. One of The demons of hell. And if I remember correctly, Beelzebub was one of the original fallen Angels that followed Lucifer during the rebellion.

Nah, as others have mentioned, she basically ''feeds'' symbiotically off the positive vibe that all her guests are giving off, the better they're feeling and the more they're indulging, the happier and more well-fed she is thus creating more honey as a kind of by-product.
She's basically just an extreme extrovert that wants EVERYONE to have the best time of their lives around her.

Okay so a little bit of info, Satan is the sin of wrath, the stereotypical Red Demon with horns and a tail, Lucifer is a fallen angel and the sin of pride.

She gathers more flies with honey then vinegar is basically what Bee-lzebub (lord of the flies) is about. She is nice because it serves her better then being aggressive. Excessive everything and people who enjoy themselves tend to go overboard. So she throws massive parties to absorb the gluttonous energy of her patrons. Dogs tend to over consume to the point of throwing up and being a Queen Bee is an insect referance to their control over the workers. And she basically is a living lava lamp.
the reason(as far as we know) for the episode being delayed was because of Viv delaying its release due to Kesha's legal issues revolving around the rights to her music that were just resolved a few weeks ago

The fact that gluttony is overrun with Hellhounds is kind of on brand for the ring of Gluttony, at least if you take Daunte's Inferno into account, as Cerberus was the guardian of said ring.

So far we’ve met two of the Seven Deadly Sins, Beelzebub and Asmodeus. They both seems to be very “human” characters, so to say, which is good considering they each rule their own rings in Hell. I wonder if the other remaining sins (minus Lucifer) will be as “human” as Beelzebub and Asmodeus.
