    About 6 months before the 30 series launch I bought a 2080 Super, when I saw the price and performance of the 3080 I was kicking myself and almost made the mistake of immediately selling the 2080 Super. Then scalpers hit and crypto hit and COVID hit and it was nearly 2 years before you could buy a 3080 for under $1000 and that 2080 Super saw me through it all.

    I’ve games on consoles my whole life. Been talking about finally swapping to PC the past 10 years now. I finally did it the night they announced and revealed the 50 series graphic cards. I just went ahead with an RTX 4080 Super with an AMD R7 9800x3d build that’s in the process of being built and on the way now. Even knowing about the 50 series being right around the corner….i have ZERO regrets. Already bought a few games from the Steam app and I cannot WAIT!!!!! With this build, I’ll just upgrade later on. It would’ve probably bothered me a little bit if I had gotten a weaker build. 4070ti Super ain’t bad at all either though.

      @ possible upcoming tariffs, NVIDIA artificially limiting supply, already reported manufacturing constraints and cost at TSMC…the FE cards are like collectors items…they will be gone 5 mins after launch. AIBs will be far more in terms of MSRP because of all the Christmas lights they put on them…and scalpers are just waiting to get paid. I guarantee you this will all be the same this generation, better to get current , out going gen at a good price, then upgrade a year or so later after the prices have stabilize and the problems have all been worked out

      @MOAB-UT 11 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@user-bm7bj6kq9e 5070Ti is the best overall value. 16GB is more than enough. They are not going to make many games that require more. If they did, they would shrink their market share. They know most would never afford such cards. Most games will play just fine on 12GB or less. 16GB is very future proof. With the 5 series, you are also getting the latest and greatest like DDR7. It's NOT just about Cuda Cores and memory. It's the whole package. If you can afford the 5080 go for it...or save money and grab a 5070Ti like I am doing. The 5080 is not significantly better. To a 5070 yes just as the 5090 is the best- but will run hot. 5070Ti at only 300 Watts is a great card- will likely last longer too. Thermals destroy cards over time. 5090's are seeing a high rate of failure. Honestly, the really epic upgrade will be the 70 series which will have less reliance on DLSS and more baked in AI. Don't break the bank today- save your pennies for a future upgrade.

    Well, per AMD's own slide, no other company except Nvidia will have a card as powerful as the 4080 Super or higher. Unless you count the 7900XTX which has an obviously inferior feature set and upscaler. The 5080 also only has 16 GB of VRAM. As a 4080 Super owner myself the 5080 even if it performs 10% better than the 4090 is not worth the upgrade. The only thing I'd look at is a 5090. However, I def don't *need* a 5090. It’s probably going to be impossible to get a 5080. And honestly I don’t believe they will be 1000$. We’ll have to wait and see 🤷🏼‍♂️

      There's already pre-orders being listed starting at $1300-1500. Guess again. Who in this age thinks you're getting a GPU at MSRP?

      Estimated performance being the 5080 exceeding the 4080 (non-super) by mere 15% in raster performance, which is an approximate middle mark between a 4090 and 4080 (non-super). Also, the 5080 is spotted in pre-orders starting at $1300-1500+. A 4080S doesn't sound like much of a loss unless you're in dire need of MFG for some odd reason. Everything else is coming to 40 Series. Now, if a 5080Ti/Super releases at a later date exceeding 4090 raster and 20-24GB VRAM, then that's something worth mentioning.

      @burgundyonly legit🤮 the 5090 native performance in Cyberpunk is around 28 fps, and the 4090 is only 21, Bring back optimised games!

    See now that I've seen what the performance looks like on the new 5000 series. I definitely should have waited to know what the 5080 was going to look like versus my 4080 super. So now I know it's like I made my choice and I got it already a few months ago but. I'll deal with it and maybe under sell it to somebody I know, and get either like a 5080 or maybe get a 590 but. I know that Titan or it's going to be called 5090 TI is going to be a beast though for sure when that comes out to
