@@peterfunny5662 honestly i say yes because you will see more of an upgrade with the GPU alone and you can figure out if your CPU is bottle necking the GPU that way.
It makes sense if you have some old ass gen cpu, but if you have a relatively new cpu. 9.9/10 your bottleneck is gpu. Anything over 3200MT RAM will not make a difference

I went from a 9th gen intel cpu to a 13th gen it doubled my fps. I am on a 2060 atm but 300 steady fps on a 2060 ain’t to bad
