Nice Work! so satisfying to blow all that dust out. My garage has been clean clean ever since i painted (paint video coming soon). Not missing that sanding dust (or the sanding itself) at all! Great job masking too. Folks probably dont realize how much time and work goes into just cleaning and masking. keep them videos coming!
Nice! Can't wait to watch that video. I'm still in the cleaning process after painting. Definitely a lot of work and I don't miss sanding either lol. But I'm going to cut and buff so a bit more sanding in my future.

Nice work 👊. Try out the blue foam tape. It's flat so you can put it in the jam then close then push the flap in with a plastic spreader and it creates a soft edge. It also makes easier to mask off gap from fender to door!

I bought the masking paper from Eastwood. It doesn't come with tape. That's separate. It's a half inch tape I add to the masking machine. The machine joins the two together when you pull the masking paper. Thank you for watching 🤝💯

Check the vacuum on the transmission. It could be as simple as that.
What did you use to roll your plastic down with?
I used a 1.5" PVC pipe to roll up and back down. Thank you for watching 🤝 💯
I have a quick question for you I'm doing my 1st car myself also. I'm on the blocking stage. So Do I do the blocking to the black I misted on is completely gone after I find my highs and lowes Then I respiray with primer siller again correct??.. Sorry for how the words came out all messed up my phone decides it likes to change my words
Yes, after blocking the car you can spray some high build primer and block sand the car again using a guide coat. Once you see and feel that the car is straight qnd you're satisfied you can move on to the next step
@@StillStandingGarage OK so I am done blocking the car and Fixing the high and lows. I think the body's pretty straight. The next step is it to respray a certain primer? before painting That is my base Coat correct. And do I have to wet sand the bass Coat before paint???
Yes, you can spray a primer surfacer so you can do the final sanding which can be done with 320 grit then 400. I stopped at 400 grit and used a sealer before my base coat. You don't need to wet sand the base coat. When I sprayed my base coat it came out really rough which is why I wet sanded mine. But if you are able to spray the base smooth you can go straight to clear.
I have a 79 landaue. Where can i find the chrome moldings and interior parts. Some parts broken.
They're hard to find. Gotta keep looking in all market places.
