This was made by AI. It doesn't need to have continuity, or even make any sense (like suggesting 2 people could restart the human species), just consume and enjoy peasant!
Wow! Nicely done! Liked the story! It makes one realize quite literally how apocalypse and genesis are two sides of the same coin. And the end is not the end, but just the beginning.
"7 generations - that's 600 years" threw me, as a generation is normally considered to be 20 yrs. Pretty cool look and feel though. In a sense this is like when manufacturing robots were first introduced to do mundane repetitive tasks. Look at them now. Will be interesting to watch the video AI segment grow. One observation though: if I understood the plot, they're visiting Earth from mars - who exactly are they mayday'ing to? Not criticising, just trying to give some feedback. A lot of times in any discipline, when you're so close to the project it's easy to miss the little things that stand out to an untrained observer. Back when I was a programmer we always had end users test our apps, because they'd do things we never thought of because we knew how it "was supposed to" work. I don't watch a lot of this kind of stuff on YT but I'm subbing to help out your channel. Best of luck!
I thought it was pretty darn good! Other's people's comment below are right on the money, but this held my attention for the whole film. I did not want to fast forward like I usually do. :-)
It's not bad. So long as you don't look at the glairing issue of Gravity. Living for generations would have made it next to impossible for people living on Mars to survive on Earth without help. As the gravity would have been too much for them. Imagin toing to a world in which gravity is three times as strong. Making you and everything else weigh three times as much. It would be a workout just to stand and walk. Never mind do anything.
What these stranded astronauts on earth didn't realize was that their interplanetary vehicle that broke up as it approached earth was built by a company called Boeing which has a long history going back to the 20th century.

Guys you REALLY need a good script instead of wasting good visuals into this shallow predictable plot. I have some good ones. Please write me, we can make a 10X better short film. And it will set the stage for a new 2001-like blockbuster. No kidding
,... except that SAG won't let you use A.I. generated content for characters in a film,... all it would take is someone suing your production claim a likeness or resemblance to someone alive or dead,.... Clear and separate consent is required for the use of a background actor's digital replica in a movie, and in the case of deceased performers, their estate or Union must consent. Time spent creating a digital replica counts as work time and is paid accordingly.

Right now AI tools are not yet there. This was an experiment to test the level of AI and was done in June in 2 weeks by one person on a laptop. Anything good takes time and budget. This is not a big production. This was done in a very low budget. But as AI tools will improve and we get more controls on the characters , things will change. You guys don't seem to mind the big companies adopting technology and putting real artist who used to draw by hand out of job.....but want to comment on a small TH-cam video. Its very clear that you feel scared of AI...Dont be.
@@DREAD_FEED my argument is not flawed because animation involves real actors voicing parts and many crew members coming together to make it happen. And even if one person did everything from drawing to animating to voicing and music, that would be more impressive and valuable than one person prompting and feeding AI to generate stuff. In the not distant future, when AI will probably become so common place, so utilized and easy, it will truly be unremarkable and cheap. No one will care by that time comes. No AI movie will ever win an award for special effects or for acting. It will just be "content". And there will be millions of them. That's where I'm getting at. I'm rather surprised you're tinkering with AI. But hey, you do whatever you like right?
@@hariseldon6392 Thank you for being considerate and nice. I have to point out the reality of filmmaking to you as I have been in this field a long time. FACT1: There is no market for short films at least where I am. So no one pays you if you make a short film while they might earn by distributing it. So hence no one funds such projects. FACT 2 : The independent feature film market is also gone. No one is funding it except people with some agenda (good or bad) . Hence again no funds. To add to this when we try to make films in a commercial way there are gate keepers. So when we live in this reality it can get very depressing for true artists to even express themselves. Or they will put their money, property on line and make a film and no one watches it as it does not have a buyer or distributor. All of this is not new. For other artists - like painters - the tools required to make a painting to show off their skills is very less. The same is not true for filmmakers. It costs a lot to even make a 4 minute film forget basing it in Mars etc. Even if you cross that hurdle where will you distribute it. TH-cam though is good for independent artist it is not great for short film guys as even millions of view and subscribers will not be able to pay back the investment. Hence TH-cam strategy should be to come up with content that is cheap and easier to produce . Hence there is so much sub par content on TH-cam . Also please try making a 1 minute or 2 minute film using AI tools. It is not as simple as you say that you put the prompt and you get what you want. Try to create a narrative with characters . Even here you can use voice actors , VFX artists, animation experts , editors, music directors, sound designers, marketing people, production assistants , studios for green screen shoots, lighting crew, food for all , stay for all if the location is out etc. All of this will be part of films that use AI to enhance their workflow. Yourr future prediction of AI is also based on no experience. Already we are seeing all tools that are usied in tradiotnal filmmaking like Adobe , Edit tools ,VFX tools , Animation tools using AI in their workflow. AI company like Runway has partnered with Lions gate. Sora is doing producer only and not artist approach. So the future is not going to be just prompt a film - it will be all the things that we do in traditntal filmmaking even like using actors etc and then enhancing the workflows to decrease budget , increase quality . When we think of this future as a filmmaker or artist in t his industry you will start preparing for a different future. Even The big guys like Meta, Microsoft, Elon musk, Nvidia, Open AI are raising trillions of dollars . What does that tell you when you are a small artist. Things are changing and only the once who adapt survive. Sorry for the long explanation but everything has pros and cons. The system that is there right now is also filled with flaws. I am hoping AI will enable smaller creators to create content . It will be sub par but it will show the potential. Like a pilot or a concept pitch. It might help the artist get his next gig in the real world where traditional filmmaking exists. All this being said I am still using AI on an experimental level to test the usage case. The main thing I am worried about is how did these companies get their data - that should be ethical and all artists whose work they use to train data have to compensated. That is the law we all agree with. Thank you for your comment.
@@DREAD_FEED I do agree there will be a sweespot for this technology for a time before it becomes commonplace and boring. I admit tho that I'm not speaking from experience of the ins and outs of what the movie industry is currently doing with this tech. But I do have some background and knowledge in filmmaking so I know what's good and what's bad even just from the current state of things. So I'm coming from that angle. But I do see that AI can ultimately be used as a supplemental tech and make things even faster and easier. Although I feel like AI will shine the most in games, to be honest, where it will be the ultimate interactive experience. I actually think it's very limiting to apply AI to traditional things only to produce mediocre attempts faster and not necessarily better. One can hope for the best that these things will eventually turn into being more ethical and more controlled but who really knows. There's no real way to tell how these things will evolve. Thank you for your replies!
This was done to test AI tools and not story telling ability of the writer and filmmaker. you guys seem to not know that AI is in its infancy. It's not even been a few months since we got character consistency to some degree. People who dont use AI have no idea what to comment on!!!
@@DrNicksBrainChannel Yes, Part of making this film is to know that for myself, ITs not just actors but the industry has more technicians and other artists than actors. Actors are small part and take all the limelight . But the others are the true makers. I too am a Writer, Director and editor, with film school background. This test was for me to know where is AI. Because AI is tech invention and not from film industry. We also will be left behind if we are not up to date with the ability of AI. As per my analysis you are right. The actors will be needed for lesser days in the future per film. Hence expect more films. In the future even non film makers will be able to make decent movies . At least for TH-cam. The VFX which right now is not anywhere close to good , will get better and get democratised. Thank you for your comment and stance for actors and artists... Truly appreciate it!
@@reginaldbull4922 hmmmm.... there is no need to be a troll. As I have said it's better to know AI rather than be surprised by it and surpassed by people who use it. This is not artist choice. The big companies whether it is Meta, Grok, Nvidia , Microsoft and every other investor is putting trillions of dollars into this. But you will find a small guy who is using it and try to troll him. If you think AI is stupid target the companies that are making them.

Thank you for your replies!
is this an AI generated movie or something?
Yes it is created using AI tools.
50/500 rule here folks 🤷
👍👋🥰🇨🇿😉
👍
sorry, but this is just a bunch disjointed snapshots that clash. All the cool AI tools wouldn't cover a poor story and lack of direction.
This was done to test AI tools and not story telling ability of the writer and filmmaker. you guys seem to not know that AI is in its infancy. It's not even been a few months since we got character consistency to some degree. People who dont use AI have no idea what to comment on!!!
@@DREAD_FEED The problem with this is that when it gets better you would no longer need human actors and I’m totally against that.
@@DREAD_FEEDoh really?
This whole thing is stupid.
Congrats, you can work in Hollywood these days really.
Maybe a new Marvel movie?
Al final todos vamos a lo mismo 😆😆😆
Yes we do !!!
Could you please put subtitles in Spanish?
Ok. will work on that.
