    It's a dame shame she is no longer with us.
    We are in dire need for people like that and every time a person like that dies they are not being replaced.
    Every time a genius dies the world dies a little bit more.

      Not true. They are always being replaced. Remove “lack mentality” and remember that the universe is abundant. In fact, she may have already incarnated back. Along with thousands of others, ready and capable of making a big difference in the world.

      @@RodneyDodson i’m sorry, christians generally don’t believe in reincarnation

    • @RodneyDodson
      @RodneyDodson 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@deansbian5607 I know, right? If they only knew... Reincarnation is no longer part of today’s Christian beliefs due to one power-hungry woman who had all references to reincarnation in the early Bible removed.
      At the beginning of the Christian era, reincarnation was one of the pillars of belief. Without it (as later happened), Christianity would lose all logic. How could a benevolent, loving God give one person a silver spoon and leave the next to starve in their ostensibly only earthly life? Early Church elders and theologians, like Origenes, Basilides, and St Gregory, taught reincarnation of the soul as a matter of course-it was written in the Bible, after all. Nowadays, most Christians suspect blasphemy if someone references reincarnation. Empress Theodora had reincarnation removed from the Bible in the year 553AD.

    What a wonderful story. My mother was shocked to hear me say I never describe myself as a Christian because I've come to associate the term with so much hatred and intolerance. Then I hear this incredible lady and know that many Christians actually are very accepting, it's just unfortunate that it's the intolerant one's who get all the publicity. Thanks for posting this-you've really made my day.

      mgpvii Because the bible is full of hate and judgementalism. She is a wonderful loving person. The bible commands people to be put to death who are gay, not virgins on their wedding night, children who sass their parents, and on and on.
      You also are far from the bible. Because you are a loving wonderful decent person.

      Other people who are far from the teachings of the bible are those against slavery, against stoning to death women who are not virgins on their wedding day, etc.
      Sorry, but that is just a fact.

    My name is Leila Spiderah. I go to an international high school. I am a Christian and I am a lesbian. Two of my friends are Muslim and one of them is Jewish. One of my friends is also a lesbian and an atheist. I believe that God loves all. If me and all of my friends can get along even with all of our differences then why can't you?! If two people are in love then they shouldn't be scared to show it. And to all of you who say that GAYS AREN'T BORN well they are. If you're straight then you know that you get crushes on people. You can't help it. Neither can we! I have crushes on girls that I can't help. Have some empathy! WE ALL DESERVE RESPECT.

    • @cmk1964
      @cmk1964 10 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I did not say she is an atheist, I said she sounds like an atheist, or in other words, she speaks like one. Her words are not typical of Christians, who for the most part are discriminatory and self righteous.
      Atheists are not bigoted like religious people. They don't discriminate because of belief in a book that promotes separation, exclusivity, and hate against those who are different, or who believe something different.
      This woman is religious, but she is just one of a handful. In fact, most Christians would treat her with hostility for 'preaching' contrary to their beliefs, and their (un)holy book.

      Christopher Kennedy
      Oh, okay. I would argue that that's a negative stereotype about Christians... but... that's been my experience with most Christians, too.

    • @westernwizard13
      @westernwizard13 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Christopher Kennedy Not to make it sound like it's the one major contributing factor in the issue. But I think it has a lot to do with where one lives. To say that most Christians are like that I suppose depends on where you are. I think that there are A GOOD NUMBER rather than most, but there just as there are many who are very unkind, there are as well many who are very kind. Perhaps also to the point of saying that she sounds like an atheist, do you mean to say that no atheists do such things? I realize that if we speak specifically about it in comparison to how Christians use the bible then of course the answer is no, but there are indeed a number who don't even go that far and simply use hate speech. I'd like to end off this comment by saying that I was raised Catholic and still consider myself somewhat even if not practicing at the moment, but what truly tires me to no end is trying to help bridge the gap of others when it comes understanding the nature of the relationship between gay people and organized religion. I have no struggles of this myself and have worked for a long time to get there. I will just say that everything is not what it seems and people can surprise you. Also btw I'm gay.

    Adultery is in the Ten Commandments.
    Gay is not.
    God put Adultery in and left Gay out for a reason: He hates one more than the other.

    If your church teaches you to hate,
    You need a new church.

    There's no such thing as a normal person, a normal life and a normal future. It takes a person to know who they are and what their reason is to understand that. Sadly, this cannot be said for you, you've still got to find your niche. If anyone is to need help, it is you. Life is a precious thing, don't waste it on making others feel as worthless as you feel. No-one's worthless, we all have a meaning and no-one's meaning is normal.

About gays embracing Islam, might not be true for your country but here in Sweden they do (at least those in the media), but Sweden is the new Alice in wonderland so i guess that could be why. The adoption issue do i stick by, simply because i think about the kid. Not saying gays are evil or would be bad parents, but i think the child deserve a mom and dad like a normal family. Thanks for the talk.

    Convictions are irrelevant to what can be demonstrated to be a sound rationale for governing moral conduct.

    I'm sticking up for the rights of others. How is that self-righteous? And for your information he and I continued the conversation into private messages and came to an understanding. Reporting him didn't work. Talking to him may have. Who are you to tell me how to help my fellow human beings? Examine yourself and the way you see your world. You can be as productive as you like - doesn't mean anything if you won't stand up for injustice when you see it, no matter what form it takes.

    It's sad because some children don't have a chance. For instance, the kids that are brought up in the westborough baptist church. I agree with you %100. If only everyone had this mentality.

    If you can find anyone who's completely consistent then well done them. Everyone is struggling to figure out what they believe and why they believe it. As long as they're being respectful and kind to everyone else I say go figure yourself out! be inconsistent! be confused about your faith and your god because the world is confusing and inconsistent and it is HARD to know what to believe.
