I’ve always been very disconnected from my body and was very cruel to my body with overly aggressive exercise (no rest tolerated!) and an eating disorder. I re-tried yoga out of desperation to help myself with complex ptsd, injuries, and body image issues. It really helped but I felt like there might be something more. I then heard about somatic exercise and found your channel. Thank you for sharing your videos with us. They’ve been very helpful ❤
I just discovered your videos and they are such a blessing. I knew I had to move my grief and sadness somehow but I did it wrong the whole year I've been carrying it. Not only that, but I did it too aggressively and tore a muscle, had injuries on my shoulder and knee because of my ungentle approach. Now I see I need to feel the feeling first and then see what I can do WITH my body, in tune with my body.
I have been allowing my body to flow and exercise its way and it is amazing how a lot of it is similar to the ones you showed in your anger video and this one! Thanks so much for this. Truly appreciate it ❤️
Indeed! If we just allow the body to do its thing and get out of our minds, a lot of these challenging emotions can be released without making us sick or unhappy in the long run!
Thank you very much for that peaceful movements 🤍
