- Hi, this video shows you how to register a cordless phone handset. It might be useful if you have bought an additional handset or accidentally unregistered one of your handsets.

A lot of people don't realise you can pair a different manufacturers phone to your existing setup, so if you upgrade, you don't have to throw out the old one
Thank you mate. I have the antiquated 2142 and wanted to make sure where the page button was (it's on the bottom of the base in 2142) to register a 2nd handset. Your video was to the point... Waiting for the handset battery to charge or 15 hours a not to build a memory effect.

Thank you mate. It helped me solve a problem that I was experiencing with my landline as the Tech Experts were always saying that you need an telephone extension socket but that is no longer the case with your carefully articulated and engineered video. Thanks 👍

Those landline phones are getting rare as mobile phones take over.
They are still everywhere. Mobile phones are a poor substitute, especially when they lose signal when you enter the house. Great outdoors, poor indoors. It will get worse with 5G as a window blocks 5G signals, thus most landlines will become VoIP via the router.

Would it be possible to make a "wireless" (to the console) PlayStation VR? Using wireless HDMI technology and a powerbank, I think it should theoretically be possible
Hi, I experimented with this a while ago (Christmas time) but you need it to be plugged into the PS4, there was a way to get around this by plugging one of the cables back into itself on the VR box but then the picture wasn't split between 2 eyes so it wasn't usable. I haven't looked into since so maybe someone has worked out a way to do it :-) Let me know if you find out any info as using it without as the cables would be a bonus and it would make a good video :-)

Yes all DECT handsets and bases can pair with each other.
Hello Vince and THANK YOU for your helpful video! But may I ask where I could find an extra handset for the Panasonic KX-TG4773B Dect_6.0 landline base? Sometime ago I bought this base with 3 handsets. Two of them stopped working one day after warranty and I threw them out (now I'm sorry I did). The 3rd one was okay but had to spend a small fortune in "special" batteries, etc. and this one too is getting kind of weak so, as I said, I hope to find another handset to fit the base. Or, can you expand with handsets that are not Panasonic?

purchased a 3 hand set radio shack phone. when it came only one of the 3 hand sets will work. 2 of them wont go past the connecting mode. i noticed inside battery compartment that the phone that does work is a cat 43-325 and the 2 that dont work are cat 43-327.....im assuming that means they belong to a different base. i tried to unregister and then re register but the phones wont come out of "connecting mode.even when pulling the battery and reinstalling .....any ideas ?
