Gotta say, I love how the difficulties appear.
The Casual one is a notepad, probably held by a journalist. You'd probably put a checklist on there--much like how you only really need to go down the checklist to beat Casual.
The Normal difficulty one is a worn but sturdy notebook. The strategies within are tried and true, and while they still need some annotations to back them up and adjust them to certain scenarios, they'll get you home, no problem.
Mega-Brutal is a leatherbound book pulled from the ruins of an old HQ mere minutes after it was firebombed by insurgents. Someone ran through the flames and gunfire to grab it, just because it's so valuable to the operation. It has been refined over years, even decades, by a series of legendary negotiators, soldiers, nation-builders, diplomats, *leaders.* It goes into detail on every single aspect of every single scenario you could face, providing strategies for every part of the response. The crisis, the decisions available, the costs, the risks, the methods of deployment, the expected responses from both civilians and insurgents, everything. Anyone in possession of this book is a very, very competent individual, and someone that can be creative with the strategies within is undoubtedly someone who will manage great things. Someone who could single-handedly and permanently change a country. Someone the insurgents would want... removed.

Seeing 5,6 at one point maybe even 7 garrisons in non-stabilized zones without buying garrison zone support was really triggering. And then you still have the audacity to say, that it's taking long to stabilize.

for new map just use economicst and regional census early and buy a lot of roads try not to attack them just hold oil derricks

Pravus just a tip but as long as you purchased the initiative for security (even if it is militia) you can still approve the project plus security, regardless if it was rolled out or not. Not approving the project with security has a chance to trigger an extra event where they can shoot rockets from ontop of the luxury hotel, spawning insurgents in that city.

Played it, it wasn´t that difficult considering that i played the free version on my phone first and damn is slow, so generally you never want to press pause lol
