From what I remember if you get Martial law with all levels of anti-corruption you unlock the "Suspend Habeas Corpus" which helps getting rid of more corruption at a price.

I think you glanced over the fact that half the fun of this custom map is reading the info bubbles.
For example "Universal Airstrikes: Publicly pledge to apply strikes evenly and fairly. Everyone must be hit by airstrikes at least once, no matter how much they try to avoid them."
"Stop Link tm 1: Have airstrikes carry telecommunications infrastructure to allow citizens to have basic 3g internet."

@@odstbag337 That's not even the last one, after you get all upgrades for airstrikes there's one secret upgrade called the "Hypersonic Tsar Cluster Bombing Missiles"
Description: Overriding physics, equip fighter planes with tsar bombs infused with multiple
Nuclear Cluster Missiles which exolodes into nudear missiles. which
eyplodes into nuclear cluster bombs then explode into man more cluste
missiles, etc, etc. With super fast reloading speeds - and Enchanced
Targeting allows for little to no civilian casualities.
Increases strength of Airstrikes (20X).
Catastronhically decreases cooldown or Airstrikes
Catastrophicallv decreases risk of civilian casualities
Edit: It costs 275$ (get ready to be accused of wasting budget a lot) and can wipe out entire areas worth of insurgents

What you failed to read, is that many of those upgrades needed Airstrikes. Becuase according to lore, they are dropped as part of the Airstrikes.
You know, bomb the camp, deploy some 3G and Outhouses. The usual.
So cows don't fly (well, in this scenario, they're airdropped... does that count?) but watch out for the flying outhouses! 🤣

"Universal airstrikes" was clearly put there as a trap for people who do things automatically without reading, I'm amazed it didn't catch Pravus.

Pravus, that red indicator is Corruption Risk, not Corruption. Corruption Risk determines how high your Corruption can be and how fast it rises, while Corruption reduces your Reputation. This is important because the Purges reduce your Corruption and Corruption Risk by a percentage, meaning Purges are more effective the higher Corruption is. You can track your actual Corruption is the Stats screen. Save your Purges for when Corruption Risk and Corruption are both high.
You ca also see actual corruption at the bottom left off the screen, tis the red number. And it was at about 60% when he got the first purge, so it was a good thing to get.
@@Santisima_Trinidad That's is exactly what I'm trying to tell Pravus. That red number at the bottom left of your main screen is NOT your actual Corruption level. It's Corruption Risk; the tooltip is wrong.
You can test that yourself: Go into a match as the Smuggler. Play normally, but do not buy any Corruption Initiatives. The red number at the bottom left of the main screen will not grow unless you fund new initiatives or due to in-game events. However, Corruption will still grow, and that can be verified on the Stats screen (dark red for Corruption, light red for Corruption Risk); And it is Corruption which reduces your Support level, not Corruption Risk.
Finally, purchasing the Smuggler's Temporary Crackdown will decrease your Corruption, but not your Corruption Risk. Notice that if you buy the Crackdown, the supposed Corruption indicator at the main screen will not move. However, if you check the Stats screen, while the light red line will remain constant, the dark red one will fall.

That being said, if it does reduce it by a percentage, still better to buy the corruption purge early on. 100-50% is 50, 50-50% is 25. Higher numerical reduction at 100, but lower end value at 50, and as lower values mean less reputation lost each month, getting the lower end value is better.
@@Santisima_Trinidad At that I don't feel like you need to get a purge. You can buy a bunch of initiatives and then purge, and get a lot of value compared to purging when you have low corruption. I see what you are trying to say, but the situation you presented is not what usually happens (for me).

It’s like having a favorite child and treat them better than the other one. In my view, it’s very bad and stupid and James needs to learn to treat all things the same no matter what.
