Fun tip I learned while playing
When a camp is spotted you want it to be destroyed by Units, because if a Airstrike hits it without soldiers, it will spawn insurgents.
But if a unit is present it will prevent them spawning

I think Pravus forgot that support level is affected by high corruption. And also if you destroy a camp with an airstrike and you don't have soldier in the zone the insurgent will guranteed spawn on the zone.

when a camp is destroyed and there are no soldiers on the following turn(s?), it will always spawn insurgents.
and yes, this includes removing a soldier from the zone immediately after the camp reaches zero health.

18:43 pravus in Mega brutal difficulty insurgents will always do a last ditch effort and spawn insurgents randomly on the map either to divert your forces from crushing the bigger group or to spread chaos and establish a new cap at the opposite side of the map

Pistachio forests isn't really all that hard, the hardest map imo is distant steppe, getting that map during campaign in mega-brutal difficulty is an immediate run killer
