- It's been a while since I made one of these. The Princess and the Frog is a movie whose voice actors I've covered in my compilation videos but has never gotten a video of its own, and part of that reason was, I don't usually make an entire video for a movie unless it can improve upon what i've already done in the compilations, and that just happened to be the case with this one. You see, some time ago, I discovered a phenomenal performance of Keith David singing the song Friends On The Other Side live, which did not exist when I made my compilation video and so I felt the moment was ready to give The Princess and the Frog the video it deserved. Enjoy.

It brings me ENDLESS amounts of joy that Beyonce was to be cast as Tiana, but when she refused to audition and said she'll take the role without auditioning, they gave it to someone else.
Interestingly Beyoncé and Jennifer Hudson were considered for Tiana until the filmmakers decided to give the role to Anika Noni Rose which interestingly all three actresses all appeared in DreamGirls.
There's no doubt that Beyonce is an absolutely fantastic singer and actress. However, I don't like her ego, so it feels kind of satisfying knowing that her big ego cost her the role of Tiana. And honestly, Anika is perfect as Tiana.

Ironic considered Beyonce did eventually get an animated role and no one remembers the movie. I only thought of it now because she was in it. Never saw it though, just didn't get enough interest. Movie is Blue Sky's Epic.

Prince Naveen is my favorite character in The Princess and the Frog because he's really funny. Even when he's a frog he's funny
