He is the typed cast actor in a certain role. Jones has played kings and warlords. Orson Welles is even better than Elliot. I mean he was the original choice for Vader. It's not about whose voice is better it's about the voice that connects to the character. Can't see Jeremy Irons or Morgan freeman playing Vader. But these men have deep voices as well. This movie holds a special place as my grandparents took me to see this movie when I was 7 when it 1st came out. I lost both of them, but whenever I watch this movie I go back to the day we went to the movie and it brings a smile to my face. I miss them both, but am still able to have this memory that I hold close.

I remember when I was 11 when this came out on the cinema My late mum took me and my school friend to see this in the South of England and it made me cry.
Ok Jeremy is truly having a blast with his role in this film on the big screen you can just tell how much fun he’s just having playing Scar on screen it’s almost like you can hear him talking to you instantly!
RIP James Earl Jones. You have given us such wonders in this world.
omg seeinf james earl jones voice mufasa and jeremy irons as scar gave me CHILLS. literal chills! and the soundtrack is really very moving.. in the sequel, lebo m. also sings the opening theme “he lives in you” and it gets me teary eyed every time ❤❤
