Hi Michael- Great Live shave; thank you! Glad to see you are doing well. Take good care and be safe and be well. Enjoy the rest of the summer. All the best, Michael!
Jewish Abe Lincoln! LOL ... amazing. I loved this Michael. Been going down a bit of a Freedberg rabit hole this afternoon as you may have seen by my spamming of your videos. I found myself tiring of all the same old scents; I haven't tried anything new since you and I last corresponded. So since you are no longer on the big shave, I figured I would watch a couple of your vids for some suggestions. Trying Zingari Man, and 345soaps. Thanks as always for the laughs and for the nostalgia of PaulH showing up and discussions of Mr. Faragher (sp?).
I am still around watching you in "taped" when I don't catch you live. I still have a couple of past episodes to binge watch. It's good to see you. Until next time... Adios.
Hi michael, I was looking at the Karve aluminium for a while. I sent many unanswered emails with regards to their availability. Very frustrating. Eventually I adapted the “if you can’t reply, I can’t buy” approach. I’m looking at the Blackland Era when It becomes available- Shane has good service. Preshaves - I have the Executive Shaving one which is water soluble. I really like it. Not guilty of gumming things up.
Mike - What amazes me is that even with a pretty heavy facial growth, your hair growth stops halfway down the neck, a little past the Adam's apple. I sometimes wonder if I'm the only guy who has to lather all the way down to the collarbone! I haven't seen one shaver on TH-cam do that! One friend of mine told he has to, as well. I even have to shave the top of my cheekbones, about a half inch below the edge of the eyes. Don't even ask how many buffs I have to do to clear hair right under the nose, almost on the inner nostrils! For that, I sometimes have to use the single edge side of a Fusion cartridge.
I’m the same as Mike. Nothing on my lower neck or on my cheeks. I’m pretty much forced to grow a round beard. I feel for you though. I couldn’t imagine having to shave that far down. I’d be a mess!
@@EricAdamsYT I've learned how to deal with it. Since the growth is less near the collarbone, I have to to light strokes. It doesn't take much to shave off, but it's just bothersome to have to clean of that extra lather. What's the real pain is having to shave the edges of my ears. I'm at the age where little hairs to are starting to grow!
Question o wise one (well experienced at least) lol.... What has better performance paa ck-6 or a sterling soap? paa is 2x the cost is it superior? (scent is not a consideration just performance) thoughts?
I have never used a PAA soap, but I can tell you that Stirling soaps are a great value: a lot of very good soap for a great price. Stirling works really well, is really easy to lather, and lasts.
Nice to see you back sir (albeit briefly). Sorry to tell you but you actually suit the beard more than a clean shave, it gives your face more definition and shape. You probably look more youthful also. I have a beard and there is still a decent amount of shaving to be had, neck and checklines.
Glad to see you Mr. Freedberg!!! Still the best wet shaver
Hi. Good to see you again. I think you are one ,of the few ,which does videos every 2 months and comprehends everything essential. Stay safe !
Thanks for the heads up about Karve aluminum available. Just ordered my first Karve.
