    Spot on! The reverb is easier to achieve on the mixer, the blue and green pedals do add something, great demo I like the post-edits!!! Thanks for sharing

    Thank you for demoing these! Can you please share your through on using these individual pedals VS using an all-in-one processor like the VoiceLive?

    Fantastic video, this was really helpful. I've seen these pedals around for a while and I've always been curious, and other tutorials don't really show their practical use very well.. my girlfriend and I perform professionally for functions and I think these would absolutely add to the performance and set us apart from other acts. Thanks heaps guys! Much love from Australia

    Should never have to go more than 1/4 on the dry side. Anything after that sounds robotic. I own the green one and it sounds great at 1/4 dry and less

    On the D1, Is the footswitch for the effect a switch or momentary or both? What I need is to press and hold the switch for the effect to be on and then release the switch for the effect to be off. I definitely don't want to have to switch effect on with one foot press and then have to do a 2nd foot press to turn it off.

    Can you tell me why I would choose these individual pedals over the _Perform V?_
    The price on the Perform V is ridiculous compared to buying individual stomp boxes, and doesn't it do everything these pedals do?

      Purchase an audio interface like the Motu2 or Scarlett, and you can sync the hardware with software using a DAW (think Ableton, Fruityloops, etc)

    This video was really disappointing. I wish y'all spent more time learning how each pedal is supposed to be used before trying to demo them. Like at 8:45 neither of you knew what the "dry/wet" knob does? 🤯

    Hi, as I'm only interested in a good vocal preamp for a better vocal presence ... I wouldn't be interested in the mad distortion effects... Just a good live vocal... My question is... I use the xr18 console from Behringer... Do I pass the TC Effects unit through my console? Also which TC FX unit is best for vocal? Thank you and great video

  • @BradfordGuy
    @BradfordGuy 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Having some material ready for this demo would have made it so much better. If she sang 6-8 bars of pre-selected material per setting it would have been awesome for the demo. Also, changing the effects while she sings throws her natural pitch way off; for that brief time, she is completely flat.

    No need to buy the doubling pedal when the Autotune C1 already doubles your voice for you. It literally just plays a pitch corrected voice on top of your clean voice which sounds like two vocalists instead of one.

  • @matthaberek
    @matthaberek 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Tc helicon wont answer me if they have updated the algorithms in the autotune pedal. It came out in 2004 and guess it's the same pedal since then. Not right to be Paying 199 dollars on 20 year old gear when you could get antares autotune or wavestune

    How to make the human voice sound like a computer voice - the great musical crime of the early 21st century. Robot harmony particularly obnoxious. The reverb and delay used subtly sounded ok. I think I prefer the TC mic mechanic2 for Real sounds. Do these things run on battery?

    • @kiskadar69
      @kiskadar69 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The devices in this video are not battery operated. The TC-Helion Mic Mechanic 2 can be powered by four AA batteries.

  • @ukaszkrawczyk732

    In my opinion it’s just toy for fun. I tried in band ad it’s just something dirty and harshly. Better buy good preamp like Dbx Go, to your power amp. Without any reverb harmony.. You will just sound so much better than this... The girl sounds beautiful without any bullshit effects. Btw I’m owner of voice live play by 4 years and I don’t like it for rock.

    They just made her nice voice sound cheaply produced and synthesized. I wouldn't buy any of those for live performance. Maybe to use subtly in the studio, but then you should be able to do all that with plugins in the studio environment. So really not worth the money just get a singer in the band who can sing.
