Great demo. The pedal is amazing, the guitarist too. Arielle voice is superb. She sings like an angel. During the last piece I had goose pimples on my arms and.... I fell with her!
towards the end, the way she corrected her pitch and his saluting smile for that move was priceless.. Although it could be easily edited and removed ..but they kept that natural treasure.. American producers do-know how to keep it real and organic and that's why their productions and the music is always lead the way.. and that put a smile on my face as well.. well done..
Really beautiful presentation guys. Arielle sounds lovely and Tom, you are right there man. Even with the levels set to demo-audible, I can hear the heart of that music. Wow! I'm a gonna get me one to go out buskin'. Big thanks, from Robin at Bob Rowley Music.
I bought this gadget a week ago - and it is just great. It is really much fun in a live situation to just add some harmony vocals. The harmonies sound good, they are really fast, no latency. Just what I needed! Thank you TC-Helicon.
She's got a lovely voice. Great effects pedal too! One time at one of my open mic nights, when I sang Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This), the sound guy put a harmony effect on my vocal, and I thought it sounded cool, and I think it was on the PA system rather than through a harmony effects pedal though.
I agree that it sounds a bit artificial at the beggining of the video...BUT, I have been using the previuos and almost-exact H1 for no less than 5 years in every single acoustic solo show and let me tell you that it is awesome..!!..best 160€ spent in my life. Precise, small and reliable! No artificial sound. Just perfect. I just hope that this model has the same core as the H1 cause I like the included reverb feature; although my Roland Ac-90 has one, sometimes you don't need to bring your amp cause they make you play through the in-house system...and having a reverb included in the pedal takes out the risk of finding yourself with a non-reverb desk in front of you..!!
Great pedal for me.Solo acoustic gigs. I set the harmony level a little above my vocals for that little extra harmony. I got it last week.I used it on 2 gigs so far I dig it! The selling point for me which you didn’t point out in this video is that you can set it up to engage the vocals when holding the button down, then disengage the vocals when you step off. I wish my Play acoustic had that feature (Tom any chance of that happening?) And I love the simplicity of this unit.I think,at least for me,the key is to use it sparingly. You don’t need it on every song..Also,I use the AC adaptor that came with my Play acoustic and it works fine.
hi daxie i have been thinking about getting one but i play no instruments im i right in thinking that the guitar give the beat ?so i was thinking could play a backing track through the guitar input for the beat would that work do you think ? cheers
@@gunnerkelly6104 … maybe, maybe not. That depends on you, on what you want to come out with. As for me, i simply use my Harmony Singer 2 for my vocals only.
The automatic microphone sound optimization does enhance the sound. When I use a XLR to jack adaptor to feed a DI box and feed the Bose L1 microphone in, I get some improvements. It makes everything better.
I like it! just what I've been looking for... ,i just want something to give me a couple of harmonies that sound decent and don't take Einstein to operate while playing my single jobs. great demo, and And Arielle is a great singer, she has soul in her voice. and she's absolutely beautiful to boot. .great combo. Thanks guys
When I was working with a singer/ songwriter, I played piano and sang background with a TC Helicon vocalist, she sang melody lines, played guitar and provided the chords.
Great demo! I’m actually waiting for mine to arrive in the mail! Question: I’m also going to use a pre-amp/eq/effects pedal- something like the TREX Soulmate Acoustic, the Fishman Tone DEQ, or the Boss AD10. (I’ve been using the TC Helicon Play Acoustic, but I want to have a separate, higher quality pedal with more/easier control over my guitar sound). My question is, should I plug my guitar directly into the Harmony Singer first, or the pre-amp/effects pedal? My guess is that the Harmony Singer should go first so that it receives the cleanest guitar signal, without any effects applied- so it can create the harmonies most accurately. What’s your recommendation? Thanks so much!
Great video!! Can I use this device by running my Electric Guitar through the TC Helicon Harmony Singer 2 on to a Guitar Amp, and running my microphone through the TC Helicon Harmony Singer 2 on to my separate PA System?
I was tryna google the lyrics as you were playing the 1st song then you said you just learnt as you were playing at the end of it... What the? Sounded pretty good to me :) Actually sounded damn good. Might start hearing cover versions om here soon..
I Love this pedal and have been using 2 of them in series with my duo (1 guitar, 2 harmony singers) to provide flexibility for harmony for either of our voices, often adding a 3rd voice. Problem is that the pedals are only lasting about 1 year before experiencing issues. Does TC Helicon recommend this type of setup? It would be GREAT if TC Helicon made this same pedal but with the addition of a second mic connection and switch.
There are two modes: either I use my guitar and Harmony singer 2 fits the tonality of the song, but we talk about the tonality in terms of pitch of notes not the tonality of the piece (eg: tonality of C minor, or D major etc) or is it the same thing? The second mode is me who chooses but I always have the same problem of understanding. Because during a song, the tonality of the pieces changes, we also have borrowed chords etc. Thank you
The key with these pedals to not crank the harmony level, and leave it lower so it adds, but doesn't sound awfully digital like it does in most of this demo.
I was wondering about that. This guy also does a demo video for the voicetone h1, and it sounded much more realistic than this pedal. Wasn't sure if that was because of the pedal or the singer th-cam.com/video/ARilla0RvKE/w-d-xo.html
How about if you are only using this for vocal harmony effects WITHOUT any instruments. Only with backing tracks. Would it still be useful? I'm debating between the duplicator or harmony singer. Im a vocalist and I don't play any instrument.
It's a beautiful product but I sold it and would love to purchase it again if TC Helicon re-engineer it and make a volume control for harmonies because it seems to me that it overpowers the main vocals of the performer itself despite of all settings, there's no way to turn down the volume of backing harmonies, and sometimes I feel like getting annoyed of it. And the Reverb settings are just mostly designed for indoor performances. As for me who performs on open wide venues, the current reverb settings of the device doesn't suit quite well. It's just my own experience and opinion on it.
Thanks for your demonstration absolutely beautiful. Hey, I just ordered my Harmony singer. I am a bass player, understand that it does not work so well with a bass plugged in - however am planning on looping it in to rythmn guitar players signal - Qyestion: From your demo n your experiences what is your preferred harmonizer setting as far as - one lower - two lower - one above one below - two above - ??? thx again
Okay now I'm worried there's a Voicelive 4 coming. Coz firstly you guys have been so quiet and secondly these new products. Feels to me like you're warming us up?!! I just bought my Voicelive 3.
TC-Helicon that actually reassures me since I just received delivery of my new VL3!! But super keen to see what's in store. I've been through Harmony Singer, Play Acoustic and now VL3 - all brilliant!
Adin Walls of the 3, which do you recommend? How much end result do you lose in the harmony singer? I love the idea that it would fit on my pedal board, but how much functionality would I be missing?
Can You Use this Without Guitar / Piano / Music playing into it? Will it harmonize My voice as I sing with Music without any input for Music audio going into it? So if I am singing A cappella could I use it as is? just with my Mic Input
Could you guys please to do a firmware update that includes the "Set Key" feature that is in the Harmony GTX? I love my Harmony v100, but sometimes (especially on the songs with more intricate guitar) the harmony generation algorithm gets confused. "Set Key" solves this problem, and you already have that tech in your other devices. Pretty please 🙏 You could implement as in the Harmony GTX: When I hold down the "harmony" pedal on the foot switch, strum a chord, and the key is set. Boom. Please please please. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I'm a Japanese! I often use voicetone:harmony G XT and synth. When I watched this video,I had a question! Please tell me about differences between the harmony singer and the harmony singer "2"!!
Harmony Singer 2 has all of the functions of the original Harmony Singer and is 9 volt, so it can now connect with a guitar pedal board. We've also added AA battery power for when house power isn't an option. Finally, we've added automatic mic gain to make set up that much easier!
YUP .. I wish someone would answer this question. The vocalist in the video tried to ask it and the dude didn't get it and just said it would work with a piano. Hey man we need to know .. does it work without ANYTHING? I see no reason why it could not .. the harmony can be computed from just the vocal signal, and would need to be in instances where the vocals start or end the song completely solo.
could you not take a input from a backing track instead of a instrument for judging harmony ? I mean there are instruments on a backing track so in theory it should work?
I have a Polytune 2 and swear by this awesome piece of equipment. Thing is, I attach it to the guitar where I as the player can see it!😂😂😂 It's not to show you, it's for me!😁🤘
Very Nice! Well done! Does the pedal influence sound of the guitar coming out of the amp? I have a voicelive 2 and I feel like it influences the tone of the guitar even though it is supposed to bypass when using "guitar thru." Does this sound right? Great playing and singing!
Are both the guitar and mic going through the same amp? in other words- if I had my guitar plugged into a Princeton reverb amp and vocals going through the Bose S1 would I be able to pedal work?
Can two or three people sing into a single mic hooked into this? Or will it sound like mush? And can I sing acapella without playing my guitar ? I have the old version of this pedal.
It would also nice nice to know if you have to spend big money for an amplifier and microphone to get this great sound. Love her voice and this gadget....but do I need expensive equipment to work with it.
I have the TC Helicon singer 2 but I don't hear much of a pitch correction, or Harmony, working with whatever guitar chords I'm playing. I have it in the 2nd position of my pedal chain after the guitar tuner. Could this be affecting it's ability to process what key I'm in?
The output level of the TC Helicon Voice(tone) stomp boxes has an output level, that is high enough to feed a Powerplay distributor and not too high to feed the LD-Systems Maui 5's Micro in
It would have been nice if TC-Helicon had added the number "2" to the top of the Harmony Singer 2 so that it could be clearly distinguished from the first version.
Good morning. Can you tell me which is better? Helicon play acoustic or voice live play gtx. And I sing and play guitar. please I would like to know if you can tell me if the boss ve8 is better than the helicon.I do not know which one to buy.
Hello.. I am using Tc helicon 2 with my band, and they don't wan' t to conect to my voise live, to help me sing the right notes, while using harmony button. Can I barrow signal from aux in witch are guitar and a keyboard? And could that help with singing the right scale? How can I conect to aux? Where is the button on the back where I should plug cable from a mixer to Tc? I don't wanna use fixed scale..I wanna plug in the sound of guitar from aux and by that fix scale naturaly.. Please help me.. Love Dragana
Just got mine but when i went to hook into my Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2 plus I didn’t get enough power. Not even with a doubling cable. So how can I make this work with a power brick like your video suggests?
Good luck getting any response from this company when there's a problem. You'll only see a response if it's something unrelated to a problem. Horrible customer service... company is joke regarding this product!
really love the products you guys make, unfortunately I bought a voicelive play, and the centre control knob broke after about an hour's use. This knob is contextual, and controls nearly all parameters. As I was touring internationally, I purchases this pedal in the USA, upon returning home to Australia, I am told that I am not covered even though the pedal is well within its warrant period, and my pedal had a defect (which seems to be a known issue with some of these "play" pedals). TC Helicon is a big international company (right?), so why don't they have a big international warranty? This is my 4th TCH pedal, but with this treatment, I might not get a 5th. I tried to deal with this privately, but I don't feel I'm being treated fairly, so I'm forced to bring it into the public domain.
Unfortunately, the cross-border nature of trade agreements, taxation etc. actually has legal barriers for us when trying to support warranty outside of the territory the product was purchased in. We totally agree that it's frustrating and will do our best to make changes in the future, but a lot of this is not a company policy that we define internally but something external we have to adhere to.
TC-Helicon I understand that laws like this may exist. I would imagine that they exist to prevent illegal importing / exporting... The laws exist to protect the controlled import / export market, but what laws exist to protect musicians such as myself who get stung? I was in the country I bought it in at the time of purchase. I was touring like many musicians who reach a certain level. The real problem for me is that it is clearly a manufacturing or design fault as it seems to be a relatively common issue across the entire "play" line. here is an example, one can find many more support.tc-helicon.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/220153307-Play-Acoustic-center-control-knob-broken What really gets me is that due to this problem, my creative output, and professional / artistic development is languishing while I try to figure out what kind of crazy screwdriver I need to buy to open up the box and try to superglue it back into working...
Hello! Happy new year! I just ordered one harmonist2!! Some questions: The reverbs are also enchanced into the guitars signal ?It would be fine if they would!! If i have several guitar pedals(delay pedal, reverb pedal, loop pedal through the guitars signal,it will affects the vocals. And witch is the best place to put the other pedals; Before the harmonist2 or after as the signal goes to the amp; Thank you!
These units does use the guitar signal to recognize the chords and on output, the guitar sound is the same. To ensure, that the unit works properly, use all effects AFTER the TC Helicon. When you doesn't trust the TC Helicon, not to process the guitar sound, you could use a Y plug (jack male -> 2 times jack female) to split your guitar signal.
Brilliant guys, I have a couple of your products and I absolutely love them. Can I ask, the fx 150 monitor, are you considering upgrading it? I think it would be great if it had a 8 or 10 in speaker and a larger amp, say 300watt. I think it would be the perfect Pa system. I hope you do bring out a larger model, keep them products comin!
We've talked a bit about a larger size and more power, but we're not sure there's a big enough market there without us starting to compete with all the other more traditional monitoring solutions on the market. The mic stand mount gets tricky as size/weight increase. If we had to ditch that, then we're kind of just a powered monitor or portable PA. I think if we get into that market and compete against something like a Bose L1/2 type system, we'd need to bring some pretty cool stuff to the party. We do have some plans to improve the sound of the existing FX150 through firmware.
I've never seen a classier product demo. The guy is a wizard of presentation and the lady is the perfect support and a next level vocalist. Thanks!

Can a singer use this in the studio singing to recorded tracks ?
It's great to see Tom and Craig (in today's earlier video) back. Maybe someday soon Singer's Clubhouse will return?
Singers Clubhouse may make a re-appearance in the New Year. This December Craig and Tom are busy announcing products - we aren't done yet!
I like that Tom is playing guitar and putting the pedals in a more musical context. The other video felt like a toy vs a musical tool.

I’m getting this next!!!
What about my guitar effects while singing..... ?
one input in the mixer? and not one for guitar, one for voice?
So it only work with a instruments plug in. And what if U playing rock Power chords
really love the products you guys make, unfortunately I bought a voicelive play, and the centre control knob broke after about an hour's use.
The Campervan Dancers -your local guitar store can fix it....
Will one note from a guitar be enough to trigger the harmonies or is it just chords? Also, does it produce harmonies for five chords
amazing singer, great pedal. I'm gonna buy one!
Whoopeeee! Glad you're so excited :-)
If Im using saxophone, is it activate the harmony any keys of the song ?
@TC Helicon Hello! Just wondering, what song was Arielle singing at the start of the video?
Hello!
Happy new year!
I just ordered one harmonist2!!
Some questions:
The reverbs are also enchanced into the guitars signal ?It would be fine if they would!!
If i have several guitar pedals(delay pedal,reverb pedal,loop pedal through the guitars signal,it will affects the vocals.And witch is the best place to put the other pedals;
Before the harmonist2
or after as the signal goes to the amp;
Thank you!
By the way, TC Helicon has also more expensive vocalists what process also the guitar signal if wanted.
@@robfriedrich2822 Thank you very much!

How Crazy does it goes with reverb?
@@tchelicon Is there a new firmware for the fx 150 now?
verry nice and verry good voice this girl I.like from Romania nice voice verry sweet
