WNOL New Orleans Ads and Promos - 10/20/1999

From Wednesday, October 20, 1999, here are several ads and promos that aired during the early morning period on then-WB (now CW) affiliate WNOL in New Orleans.
This block features promos for Dawson's Creek, Roswell, Felicity and Jack and Jill, plus local broadcasts of Judge Joe Brown, Queen Latifah's former daytime talk show, Home Improvement reruns and It's Showtime At The Apollo.
Look for some vintage Morris Bart spots, as well as an extremely rare Rosenberg's Furniture ad without the famous "1825 Tulane" jingle. By this time, the store had moved to a completely new location, with a new jingle "Take The Credit, It's Just Your Style" created to reflect both Rosenberg's new headquarters and its new approach to its TV advertising.
Also included in this block are two spots for infamous Baton Rouge-based personal injury lawyer E. Eric Guirard (he of the "E" Guarantee), whose firm opened a second office in New Orleans earlier in 1999.
In 2009, Guirard and his ex-partner Thomas Pittenger were disbarred for 7 years by the Louisiana Supreme Court for undertaking corrupt business practices at their former firm (later sold to Dudley DeBosier). In 2016, the Court reinstated the law licenses of Guirard and Pittenger.
