I inflated my sleeping mat „Thermarest NeoAir Xlite“ with the Flextail ZERO Pump every evenig for two weeks on my bike tour this summer. I can say that the mat was 100% full every time.
That thread is very similar to the type found on cheap LED torches. I think a small smear of vaseline on the thread might make it a bit less gritty when accessing the battery compartment.
Oh boy 🤣. I don't even think this would have the power to begin to put air into an actual air mattress. The weight of the material alone would be too much for this pump. This thing is definitely designed for light tasks with light weight materials. I wouldn't doubt that some of the people on TH-cam trying to sell this thing would claim it could do it though 😂
Quality of the zero is terrible compared to the original. The original is awesome. I got the zero and the threads stripped almost instantly. I didn't even get to test the pump (which seemed weaker than the original)
The only thing this has going for it is the absolutely tiny size. I just want people to know that this thing will only do about 85% of the work and that you'll need to take care of the rest somehow. After watching all the "influencers" review this thing and act like it's a super powerful pump, I just felt like people have a right to know before they purchase it with high expectations. I have properly calibrated my expectations for what it can actually accomplish, so I actually do enjoy carrying it in my gear. It certainly saves me time, it just isn't perfect.
@HomeBatteryBank the original flextail, while heavier gets the pad up fully for me. I still need to test how this one performs, it is just a shame that the threads are so delicate and easily cross threaded. I hope they redesign this pump so that you don't need to unscrew it and can charge the battery directly - I also hope they fix the "1.2 Oz" advertised weight
It definitely cannot accomplish full inflation on anything but a camp pillow. Other than that, it is just good for doing 85% of the work. Anyone would be very disappointed in their sleeping pad if they only relied on this thing. I appreciate that it's so small and that it gets a good portion of the work done, but I'm not under any illusions about its capabilities. I really don't know why so many influencers in the camping world got behind this thing though... oh, wait... $$$
@@HomeBatteryBank They are also deceitful about the weight… they claim the weight without the battery! This is nonsense… being that the pump is useless without power.

Thank you for saving me from buying this thing!
Bonjour is it a good item ?
Does it work with the swimming gear ? As I can’t see the small pointy nozzle in the package
Negative. I didn't even think about that use for this thing. I think it would actually excel at floaties for swimming.
Think it could fill up an air mattress?😆

The slightest bit of humidity will ruin the zero pump. No good for real life use
I purchased it and my exsperience with the device has been garbage. Stay away from it.
